EXCELLENT DRINKS & BAKED GOODS ============================== Thank you so much to the owners of Dash Coffee Bar for treating me to an iced matcha latte and red velvet cookie last week. I really enjoyed both and your drinks, baked goods and service are great. I also like sitting at the tables outside. When I was there I also purchased one of your blueberry muffins and that was delicious! It was so moist and filled with blueberries. I tend to order blueberry muffins or scones most of the time and I'm really glad you sell those. Thank you so much to our amazing Yelp Community Manager Margaret P. for including me on the guest list. I love attending events close to home and this one was very close. It's also a couple blocks from my husband's office which is nice.
Thank you Margaret P. and Dash Coffee Bar for this awesome event! The cold brew was rich in flavor with a nice kick of caffeine, and paired well with the red velvet cookie with white chocolate. But the item that stole the show was the cookie, it was so delicious and soft! The interior decor was very modern, cute, and clean. Definitely a great spot to take those IG photos! Also a great place to study or get some work done, as they have cute seating options with good lighting. They had plenty of parking on the street in addition to the parking lot.
Big thanks to Maragaret P and Dash coffee for the generous offer to celebrate APIHM! Finally had time on Saturday morning to head over to try their coffee and pastries. Decided on an iced pandan latte and ube toffee crunch cookie. Having only gotten 3 hours of sleep, the latte and toffee cookie was the perfect way to start my morning as we headed down to SCP. Also ended up ordering the sage and cheddar croissant which was pretty tasty. Loved how Dash took the time to warm the croissant before handing it over. Will definitely be back and will be adding Dash to my coffee shop rotation.
Dash Coffee Bar is now added onto my list of favorite coffee shops. So happy I discovered it through this yelp elite event! I tried their iced ube foam latte and let me tell you - it was BOMB. Their ube latte is made with purple yam syrup, espresso and your choice of milk. The ube foam latte is essentially their ube latte with ube foam on top. The cold foam is made with whipped cream - unfortunately, they do not have a dairy-free version of the foam. If you don't mind dairy, I definitely recommend getting the foam on top, as it adds an amazing sweetness to the drink. If ube is not your thing, they have so many other specialty lattes that you can try. I really love the variety in their menu, which makes this coffee shop so special and unique. Can't wait to go back and try more of them! The coffee shop itself is quite small - about 5 tables inside and 2 outside. The parking lot had about 9 spots, but there was plenty of free street parking around the area (not metered). Thank you Margaret P., Yelp, & Dash Coffee Bar for this experience!
Tried out this place on Mother's Day. I couldn't decide which drink to get, so I decided to get three and share it with my mom and kids as an extra treat for Mother's Day. Cute little shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Small parking lot, but I was lucky to get the last spot. The menu on the wall was a little hard for me to read (I didn't have my glasses on.) so thank goodness there was a menu on the counter. Thank goodness no one was waiting for me to order, because I took quite a while. The lady behind the counter was very patient with me. I FINALLY chose: ube latte which had purple yam syrup, espresso, and milk (my mom loved it), purrrfect in purrrple which was topped with ube foam (not to sweet), and matcha frizz which had syrup and tonic (my daughter hated it, but I liked it). Several choices to choose from the baked goods section. All looked yummy. Besides what's on the menu, you can also purchase bottled drinks which were located near the counter. Definitely would return when I'm in the Pasadena area. Thank You Margaret and Dash!!
I had such a blast at Dash Coffee Bar. I wasn't sure from the previous photos if there were seats to work, since it's a small shop, but there was plenty. I'll be sure to bring my work laptop when I'm looking for a change in scenery. I ordered the Iced Camo - a thick matcha foam drink over iced coffee. The foam was thiccccckkk, almost like matcha ice cream. I tried to drink through the strawless sip lid, but couldn't through the matcha foam layer. I eventually had to get a straw to mix the drink. It taste much better when it's mixed. I paired it with Ube Cookie. Both were so delicious. Thank you Dash Coffee Bar for sponsoring the event and thanks Margaret (and the Yelp team) for organizing. I met up with my Yelp friend Harris and we talked about cosmetic dermatology - since you know, we are getting old. I am also grateful to have made a new friend, Sam B. I talked to Sam B about Selling Sunset and lost track of time! The parking lot is a little small (one entrance through Union) and there's some street parking on Union. It wasn't too difficult to find parking when I arrived - but the store is on the left side on a one way street.
Thank you for having us :) I used to work in the building on Colorado and Lake, there're lots companies and cafes in the area. This is definitely a great option for the community. You can bring your laptop and work there, both indoor and outdoor seating with strong wifi. I got the most popular Ube latte to match my purple hoodie lol and it actually turned out really good. I sip some cafe first then mix up with the ube on the bottom. They made the Ube very smooth and not too sweet. If you want to start your day with something different, you must try!
A hidden gem in East Pasadena. Superb decor and welcoming ambient for friend to hang out, or simply grab a drink after spicy Thai food from next door. Plenty of street parking nearby and there are some spaces in the plaza as well. Thanks so much for the event! I had the ube mocha (less ice), it was a hot day, and the drink was refreshing, the ube was sweet but makes the color contrast beautiful. I picked the ube chocolate cookie, it was on the sweeter side but I still liked it!
I am super thankful for Yelp showing me this place. This might be my new spot if I'm tryna order flavorful coffee. Sometimes your homemade coffee starts to lose its delicious flavor and you just need to go buy some at a cafe. Parking: there are about 8 parking spots inside the structure. It's not that big, but at least you'll be able to see right away if someone hits your car. There is street parking if anything! Inside/Outside: there are about four tables inside the cafe that is more fitted for a one seater. If you're looking for a place to study, I highly suggest sitting outside as there are plenty of seats. However there are only about three seats that are covered in the shade. The internet is fast, and you'd be able to study here for a short time. Menu: there are so many interesting items in the menu that I want to order from. You get to have your coffee mixed with delicious flavors from Thai tea to matcha to Ube. I ordered the dirty Thai tea latte. I think this was perfect for me as it was more on the sweeter side. I also ordered their ham and cheese croissant (not shown in picture). It was okay. But, I'd love to try their other bakery items.
#2 This was my first time here and really enjoyed the drinks & baked goods from Cookie Chaos! The drink flavors were unique and it was my first time trying a Pandan Latte (alt milk; almond). For the cookies, I tried the Ube Toffee Crunch and ordered the Pandan with Mango Bits. I could eat a dozen of those cookies. I love the decors, indoor/outdoor seating, and parking lot. The parking lot was shared but for any place in LA with its own lot, is a win for me! Thank you to DASH for such a great experience and Margaret P. for organizing the event!
This is my first time going to this coffee shop. I opted for the pandan latte. The coffee itself was very good, but I barely taste any pandan in this coffee. The sweetness of this drink is perfect, not overly sweet or bitter. I got the ube toffee crunch cookie and this is one of the best cookie I had. I left the cookie on the fridge for one night and ate it the next day. The cookie was delicious and has a good chewy texture. I have had cookie chaos cookies before but this flavor is the best one I have had. Thank you Margaret and Dash Coffee for this event!
A lovely cafe perfect for getting some work done! I came in around 9:15 and was able to check in for the event without any issues. I was given the option between an ube or red velvet cookie from Cookie Chaos in South Pasadena, and ended up with the red velvet one. The cookie was soft and tender, with a pleasantly sweet flavor and white chocolate chips. I purchased a double chocolate cookie to go, and am sure that one will be amazing as well. UPDATE: the second cookie was much more dry and crumbled upon opening the bag. While still delicious, the texture was nothing alike. The ones for the Yelp event were probably freshly baked in comparison to the ones on display. For my drink I ordered an iced matcha latte, with lavender syrup. The lavender added a pleasant floral taste to the creamy matcha latte. The cafe itself is charmingly decorated, with very aesthetically pleasing tables, plants, and light fixtures. The music is a little louder than at normal cafes, but it was still a great environment for me to sit down and do some work. I ended up staying for 2 hours, enjoying the drink and cookie while writing. The wifi here seems pretty strong, and good for work, as most people at the cafe were on their laptops. The only drawback was the two huge ceiling fans inside the cafe were spinning on high on a cloudy, 65 degree morning, and I noticed multiple people going back to their cars to get jackets. The parking lot is on the smaller side, but there are street parking options nearby as well. The service was excellent and added to the welcoming atmosphere. All in all, an amazing experience, thank you Margaret and Yelp LA for the opportunity! This cafe is relatively close to my house and I know I'll be coming back for more soon.
I like matcha and I like ube. Separately. I usually stray away from mixing two flavors together because usually it is wayyy to sweet. I got the matcha ube latte and it was so good! I wish I mixed it up because it tastes so good mixed up. I would definitely come back! Thank you for all the goodies!! There are indoor and outdoor seats for studying.

Review #885 2025-056 YEE #135 (missed count @ #95) Comped Food & Drink Order: Ube White Chocolate Cookie (Asian inspired from Cookie Chaos) Yuzu Refresher Frizz Yelp Schwag: Yelp Logo Drink Sleeve & Coaster Another oldie, but goodie that was drafted & not posted. I'm appreciative of Yelp granting me this invite to Dash Coffee Bar, & stopped by late afternoon on Mother's Day as a treat; Elites receive a coffee of choice + Cookie Chaos cookie. I'm not one to celebrate this holiday... all I ask of my family, kids especially, is peace & quiet. Easy peasy, & totally affordable, yet it doesn't happen even though it's only 2 days out of the year (other is my birthday). Anyways, I digress. My son joined me in this quest to Dash Coffee Bar, & he was curious about the menu's refresher bar, particularly the yuzu refresher frizz & butterfly pea lemonade, that he made a mad dash out of the car when I barely parked. We were warmly greeted upon entering, & peruse the menu for my comped drink. I inquired that I'm not a coffee drinker & asked if I may choose from refresher bar list, which she said ok, & requested the Ube White Chocolate & Yuzu Refresher Frizz. Normally, I would prefer tea with a cookie, though I imagine coffee goes better? Our cashier/barista was quick, & got the fizzy drink fast! I had to put a hand on my son to snap a pic & gently remind him that it's mine & that it's Mother's Day. Yeesh! ;-) I love, love, love this yuzu refresher... absolutely "refreshing" bubbly with citrusy sweet & sour notes!!! And the cookie was delish... good ube flavor & sweet chocolate... a match made in heaven! We polished both off in a minute! The coffee bar is a skip from Old Town, & on a quieter street: Union St. just off busy Lake Ave. The dining area is bright & spacious, & designed to allow you to "hang out" &/or work, though I'm not sure how comfy the bench & chairs are for extended periods of time. Compact menu of: expressos & coffees with add-ons, crafted bar, teas & refreshers that's fairly priced (though it seems cheaper than tea/coffee shops) with excellent, friendly service. It's a bit of a drive to Pasadena, but I'm always open to exploring the neighborhood near my brother, & sharing my finds with him (told him about DCB; he's a coffee aficionado & approves). DCB is quickie walk from his office & a short drive from home. Not convenient for me, but definitely worth a stop whenever I'm in the area visiting my big bro. Recommended: Yuzu Refresher Frizz (a must) & Ube White Chocolate Cookie. Happy APIHM ! What a great Wednesday pick me up, really needed it for this week! Came here before lunch time and they have a small lot in front (accidentally parked in a private lot next door, but I got my order SUPER FAST before getting caught, so that really says a lot about their efficiency, LOL). There's outdoor seating, but when I arrived, there was no more tables available inside. Lots of people studying and doing work, pretty popular place! I also noticed that they have a system where you "pay with your face"? I've never heard of it before, but it seems pretty interesting. Services was very friendly, even though I was in a super rush to head back and get ready for work. This YEE gives Elites a drink of their choice and a cookie of their choice from Cookie Chaos. I also bought another drink to try out, but in hindsight, probably shouldn't have ordered 2 matcha drinks and tried something else instead... I got the: 1) Ube Toffee Crunch Cookie: - I LOVE soft moist cookies, so I was glad that it was one of those kinds of cookies. -One of the best ube cookies I've had. -Nice strong ube flavor with a sparing amount of toffee that doesn't overpower the cookie itself or make it way too sweet/sticking to your teeth. -Would definitely eat a whole pack of this if possible. -There's a teensy bit of almond in it too, just an FYI. 2) Iced Camo: -It's a vanilla cold brew topped with matcha cream. -They give you a lot of matcha cream on top and it's the good quality stuff, nice earthy and bitter. But on top of a vanilla cold brew, it became doubly bitter and wasn't really my thing. -My dad said it was interesting but subsequently downed the entire thing. He liked it ! 3) Matcha UBE Latte: -It's a neat gradient drink. Purple and green, kinda like Barney lol. -It's milk mixed with ube syrup and matcha on top. -I really liked it! Sweetness of the ube milk mixed with the slightly bitter, earthy matcha flavor. Not too sweet or sugary. There's many different options for milk. They also have merchandise for sale, baked goods, and even alcoholic drinks (don't think I've ever seen a coffee place with a bar in it, but makes sense since it's called Dash Coffee BAR). This is honestly one of the best cold brews I've ever had. I ended up getting the iced camo and the red velvet cookie (baked by Cookie Chaos). First, let me describe the amazing coffee. The iced camo is vanilla cold brew top with matcha cream (dairy). It is fantastic. I've never had matcha on cold brew before but wow wow that might be the new way I do cold brew. The matcha adds a nice slight bitter and subtle sweetness to the cold brew. The vanilla flavoring is light and not overwhelming in sweetness. It's wonderful. Oh and the cookie. The cookie is very good. It's very soft. It taste like a red velvet cupcake was squished down into cookie form. It pairs very well with the coffee. I'll be getting the red velvet again and probably something with chocolate next time with their other delightful drinks. I am going to make my way through all their drinks, starting with the perfect in purple (ube cream!!!) Thank you YEE for this discovery!!! read more
Unsure if its because i love coffee this much or every YEE coffee related events had been great! This is only the second coffee YEE I participated but both have been delicious and refreshing!! The main reason is the smoother textures of the coffee, not overly sweet with many variety of flavors to choose from that are light yet enough to taste the flavors without being overwhelming. Somehow i compare it to your neighbourhood boba shop expect its with mostly flavored espresso and coffee rather than tea. So the coffee flavors are much lighter in exchange of more flavored yummy milk. So if you like stronger coffee and less milky flavors, then this may not be your thing. I got the iced pandan latte with oatmilk and the hot ube latte. Yes, i got 2 caffeinated drinks plus a hot and cold as the Libra in me could not decide so i get both! She also gave a discount on the second item I got! Score! And the free cookie to choose from was red velvet and ube. Got the ube and it was also very delicious although the waistline probably hates me right now. It was also not too sweet and it was a soft cookie! Yum! Place is located on one way street which i don't like but happy they have 2 hr street parking and a small little parking lot also!! Will totally be back!! The owner (i think she was the owner) was also very sweet and patient to explain their popular drinks and any questions we had! Thank you! Thank again for a great YEE experience!! Thank you Dash coffee for the coffee and cookie! Everything was delicious. The coffee shop is small but cute. They have tables inside to do work as well as tables outside if you would rather get some fresh air. It wasn't busy when I went. There was only one customer there so the drinks were done quickly. Parking: they have a parking lot that they share with the other stores in the plaza. read more

First things first they have their own little parking area that it along side with Chim Thai Restaurant. There wasn't much parking because I came on a Sunday which was also Mothers Day. This spot is so adorable. I ended up getting the complimentary Pandan Iced Latte with the Ube with Toffee cookie. Yum! The drink was delicious, so glad I chose that one. I do however want to try the other drinks as well so I'm definitely come back for sure. The cookie! OMG! I'm obsessed! The cookie from Cookie Chaos was amazing. I wish I had more. This was my first Yelp Elite Experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! I was SO excited when I got the "YOU'RE IN" email because I love, love, love coffee and I've been wanting to try this place. I'm glad I finally did. Thank you @dashcoffeebar and @yelpla. The directions on the email were very clear, detailed, and easy to follow. I went up to the counter and told the nice employee that I was here for the Yelp Elite Experience. She asked for my name, checked it off the list, handed me a couple of Yelp goodies and asked me what I wanted. I got an iced ube latte with oat milk and I chose the ube toffee crunch cookie. Can you tell I have a thing for ube? Lol. I recently tried ube and love the flavor. The drink was super delicious. I could taste the ube but it wasn't overpowering - it's still very much a coffee drink with just the right amount of ube flavor. The cookie y'all, is the best cookie I've had in a long time. I have a sweet tooth and I eat sweets frequently, and truly this cookie was beyond amazing. It's soft and has chewy edges; it's incredible! Right as you open it, the smell is divine. The Ube toffee crunch cookie by Cookie Chaos is the best cookie I've had in a long time!! The Ethiopian drip was also good - great full body but just a tad too sour (maybe a touch over brewed). Love the variety of drinks and baked goods that Dash has to offer. Two thumbs up! read more
Such a cute coffee shop with seating both inside and outside. We got our coffees but decided to stay for lunch. We each got a bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich. It was good but my recommendation for making it better is to crisp the bacon. The Matcha Latte was good also. There is a small parking lot shared with the Thai restaurant next door. We didn't park there since there's only limited spots but street parking is plentiful nearby. read more

This coffee shop is located in a small plaza with both indoor and outdoor seating. Dash Coffee Bar has a blue/orange bathroom color scheme but an amazing mirror with great lighting, especially for selfies The menu is diverse with unique flavors like pandan. The barista is also the cashier; she's nice, patient, & makes the best iced lattes we've had. For the Yelp Event, I received one free drink, a coaster, a drink holder, and a cookie from Cookie Chaos. Cookie Chaos Ube Toffee Crunch: This was one of the best cookie we had. It was so delicious, not too sweet, & had a good texture at room temperature. I rarely buy cookies but would hands down buy all the flavors from Cookie Chaos. Pandan Latte With Oat Milk ($5.50): This was so amazing! The pandan flavor really elevated the latte and went well with the oat milk. Highly recommend trying! Matcha Ube Latte With Oat Milk ($7.50): The aesthetics of the drink is there with the 2 separate layers but in terms of taste, you need to mix them for it to taste as intended since the ube is sweet while the matcha is bitter. read more

I love visiting Dash Coffee! This was an awesome perk. I got the Popcorn Latte and Ube Toffee Crunch latte, and I loved that we also got some Yelp swag (a drink cozy and a coaster) and a cookie from Cookie Chaos. I got the Ube Toffee Crunch! Something off about the drinks.. I love Dash Coffee, especially my boyfriend who is obsessed with their pandan latte. We've come here numerous times the last year and always opted to buy the big bottle of coffee for $15. For some reasons, the drinks I got today was not the same... for my drink I got a pandan latte with whole milk, and the bottle came pre made with oat milk. I was super excited but when I tried the drink, I tasted zero pandan flavor. It's just a sweet latte but no pandan flavor. Not sure what's going on here but I'm pretty positive something is different now. read more

I'd never had the combo matcha and ube, and the combo mix is pretty good. I like how the matcha tones down the sweetness from the ube and it's just a nice mix of flavors. First time here and it's a very cute place with tables, chairs and also a booth.... The place is very clean and the decor is very neatly organized and placed. The workers greeted us as we entered and didn't rush me to order. We let the workers know that we were there for the Yelp event and the lady took our names and gave us our swag. I ordered the coffee jelly with milk and the worker asked if whole milk was ok... I told her if I can substitute for almond milk and she said yes so I was very pleased about that. My drink was a bit strong on the coffee side but the almond milk definitely helped neutralize the strong coffee taste! Along with my free drink and swag I also ordered an Americano for my father. I do recommend this place to people who enjoys having strong coffee! read more

Looove Dash !! It's a little hidden but has a little private parking lot which was great and an outdoor patio . I live super close so was excited to try it out thanks to Yelp!! It's super cute inside and was not busy at all so I didn't have to wait in line. I ordered the chai tea latte , red velvet cookie, and spiced coffee donut. Everything was soooo good!! Place was awesome! Customer service was even better. Ordered iced americano- will definitely order again. I decided to try a sandwich as well- totally recommend it. Can't go wrong. The cookie was soft and not too sweet which we enjoyed. The latte had a subtle Pandan aftertaste and a creamy taste. This shop is adorable and I'm glad I found it through Yelp. Cute Cafe located next to Chim Thai Food. Parking lot is small but plenty of street parking. Ordered the ube latte and it tasted wonderful and there hints of ube flavor. They didn't have 2% milk so I got almond milk with it. Dirty Thai tea was a bit on the sweeter side but delicious nonetheless. The ube cookie was soft and nice. Thanks Yelp for the invite! read more

I was excited for this yelp Experience because I love trying new coffee spots, especially local ones. This place was hidden. If it weren't for the address, I would have never known there was a coffee spot there. I think there should be better signs outside so other people can see it. This was a cute little coffee shop. They have intricate drink items on the menu. I just ordered an iced vanilla latte half sweet but it was delicious!! I also got a free red velvet cookie too, which was really good. Great event! A cute coffee shop with creative drinks! I love ube and pandan so I was excited to see such a vast array of options with those flavors. I opted for the ube cream cold brew and an ube toffee cookie. The cold brew coffee itself was rich and delicious and the foam on top added the perfect amount of sweetness, creaminess, and flavor. I mixed it all together and throughly enjoyed the drink. The cookie was baked all the way through but still soft and, and it had a sweet earthy from the ube. Delicious! Despite there only being 2 workers when ai stopped by, the service was quick and friendly! I will definitely be back! read more
- It's a cute little coffee shop that I stumbled upon last year. Their lattes are tasty and their pastries are even better! I tried the vanilla oat latte and the white chocolate Ube cookie and it was the perfect combination of sweetness. I also ordered a sage and cheddar croissant and a horchata latte. It was the perfect snacks to take for our long drive to Disneyland. When I got there at 8:30 AM, there was plenty of parking. There was also no line. It looks like a nice place to take your laptop and get some work done as well. I will definitely back to frequent Dash! I loved this experience! I've ordered Dash once before for delivery and honestly I don't remember the drinks at that time but this time I'm coming back for more!!! We ordered the pandan latte and a sparkling yuzu drink. Both were really good. I'm not usually the biggest fan of soda so I wasn't sure what to expect with the yuzu but it tasted like fresh orange juice almost. My bf wants to return to try their yuzu espresso tonic. As a fan of pandan I really enjoyed the drink. The coffee wasn't too overpowering, letting the pandan flavor shine. Also I loved the Cookie Chaos cookies. I actually had their cookie before at AK roast who also does pandan coffee lol. The cookies I got were ube toffee and pandan mango. Both were delicious but I preferred the pandan one since the pandan flavor was clearly there. For ube, I mainly tasted the toffee. Lastly the shop is super cute and has plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor. read more
