I wanted to like this place and I did really love the woman who did my nails but there are quite a few caveats.... First of all, there is only one nail technician working here at a time, from what I can tell. When I called to make the appointment it was clear that there was only one person working on a Saturday, but maybe there's more during the week. Also, the nail area is very small and has a doorway that opens to the hotel lobby which means there are people walking back-and-forth and, when you were sitting at the nail table, your back is to those people, which is a bit disconcerting. The pedicure chairs were seats high up with sinks below, but no massage etc so, personally, that's not my preference anyhow. I have to say that I bought a certificate on Gilt, for a gel manicure. I would figure that that certificate would cover the cost of the manicure and that I would have to pay tax and the fee to soak off my gel manicure that was already on. Guess what? Soak off is $15 !!! That is insanely expensive for soak off in NYC but I guess since this place considers itself a premium salon that must be what is the going rate at more upscale joints. What I didn't understand was the 26 additional dollars the front desk charged. I paid my tip in cash, and tax shouldn't have been more than a few dollars so I'm still puzzling over the amount. Why didn't I deal it when I was there? Because I was running out the door, late, because the manicure took 90 minutes (with soak off) which made me a bit late for my next errand. They have an attractive enough facility, and two areas for pedicures and so I am sure they can accommodate more guests if they had more technicians. The bathroom was attractive and clean. There was not a very broad choice of gel polish colors, probably about 30 to 35 were offered. I did not see any options for any designs or special technique. The actual quality of the manicure is 5 stars - Kaoru was so very very good!! If the cost here was not so unbelievably high I would happily seek her out to have her as my regular manicurist. I bought a gilt voucher for a signature full spa pedicure. It's the most expensive pedicure they have costing $100 and supposedly 90 mins long. I paid 40% of the original cost for my voucher and even at that price i felt like it was a waste of money. I tend to not get pedicures anymore because i feel like they just soak, rub my feet, and polish. it always feels rushed to me. I thought spending a little more would mean i would get the expected buffing, massaging and extra attention to my cuticles. My experience at Elevatione spa fell very short of my expectations. I got to my appointment on time and was seen promptly. The pedicurist did not say much which i didn't mind. On to the actual process. Took my nail polish off, filed and did some cuticle stuff. The only difference between this and a $25 pedicure was the scrub on my leg and a foot mask which doesn't impress me at all. Unless the skin on your feet is buffed/ peeled away, the texture won't change. They was no buffing and not even a one minute foot massage. My service ended 20 mins early and was told she used a quick dry liquid so i didn't need to stay long to dry. It looked like they didn't have a drying fan. I still sat for a while cause i had time to kill but when i was finally ready to leave, i noticed the side of my big toe did not have and even application of the nail polish. When i asked for the nail tech, i was told she stepped out. At this point I was in a hurry, so i left. I had to wear sneakers to work later that day and ended up smudging my nail polish. Two weeks later, I'm already dealing with chipping which never happens. My pedicures last for at least a month/ till i take them off. I really would've considered coming here and paying the full $100 and getting my money's worth. But what i received i would pay $25. read more

I just bought the package cost almost $1200 for MicroCurrent but it is really hard to find the time to book the session with them. My first appointment got cancelled and now I have to wait for another week since the time they offered me to go in is 10 am or 11am on weekday. I tried to look up the schedule online from the link they provided but the link does not work. This is 2019 and most of the spa I went already have apps or online bookling. This place did not even have the site to book properly. Second, I called and asked for refund on the phone. The staff said I have to be at the spa in person to get my refund. Came in a little after noon on a Thursday for a pedicure after calling and making an appointment earlier in the week. The inside of this spa is gorgeous. The pedicure foot tubs are extremely clean, the chairs are comfortable, and all decorations are done with a Dali twist and it's fantastic. I also loved that the tools for my pedicure were sanitized and sealed before Kaoru opened the pack to use on my pedi! Now, let me say I have been living in the city for 3 years and have not found a place I loved (or even liked honestly) to get my nails done, but this pedicure was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Kaoru is EXCEPTIONAL! This is easily the best pedicure I have EVER gotten in my life. She took her time, was extremely diligent and patient with the pedicure, even coming over before I left to ensure my nails were 100% dry before putting my shoes back on! [Side note: I selected white polish for my pedicure which can be extremely difficult to apply perfectly without bubbles/streaks/imperfections, but this pedicure had NONE of these problems and is a perfect solid white across every single toe!!] I am going back soon for a gel manicure and will update my review then! PS: Jacqueline was LOVELY and an absolute dream with making sure both the appointments I made worked with my busy schedule and I love how they text to confirm the day before! DAMAGE your skin!!! UNPROFESSIONAL! Avoid! They incorrectly picked the "right" jet peel procedure for me - bio-whitening, even though my skin is fair naturally! After the procedure my face skin was all-white, that looked nice. But after some time, the skin came back to normal, except around my eyes! Area around my eyes still remains white after 9 months after the procedure!!! I look like I was taking a sun bath wearing the glasses! The ugliest part is when I came to them and showed what they did to my skin, they refused to accept their mistake. They said they had done hundreds of jet peels, and this never happened. Sorry, but air planes also do not crash every week, but sometimes it happens. Just accept your mistake and at least try to help and solve the issue. Though, they did not try to help and did not offer any options to at least make the white circles around my eyes not that obvious. I told them "Ok, then just make all my face skin whiter to match the color of my around-eyes", since I knew they have procedures for this. But they disregarded it. They also said "Go to the dermatologist and bring the confirmation that it is because of the jet peel". Isn't this behavior insulting??? Instead of solving the problem they are laughing at me!!!! They are totally UNPROFESSIONAL. They DO NOT know their products. They DO NOT know how to work with their products correctly and what are the consequences of a wrong treatment. If something goes wrong they will never help you nor THEY WILL NEVER ADMIT THEIR MISTAKES. They are just interested in charging you hundreds and thousands $$$ for their irresponsible procedures (yes, it is an expensive place). Funny enough I saw another one star review on here and today it's gone... Well let me spare you your time and money. I was enticed by the promotion for the jet peel anti aging facial. I purchased and booked it online (had problems with that because it kept defaulting to a microdermabrasion which I did not want), and it was nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone and none of the email addresses work. I was told it was a one hour thirty minute treatment and would be so hydrating for my skin. I waited 30 minutes once I got there on time, filled out some paperwork, kept being told the room was being prepped when noone was even there. I was greeted with a sales pitch for all their products and was told I would get a "goodie bag" for having to wait so long. Skip to the treatment - the machine blasted such cold air on my face that I actually had a headache. Not a pleasant experience at all, and not once did the esthetician ask if I was ok. She put some gold mask on my face for about 5 minutes and then maybe one serum. This treatment sounded to me like it was going to be all of these antioxidants and vitamins infused in my skin. Did I fall asleep for that part? Because I don't remember it. The sales pitch afterwards was probably the worst by far, making people feel obligated to spend thousands of dollars on the spot for something they aren't even sure are like - OR WILL WORK FOR THEM. FYI - an hour after treatment my skin was as dry as when I came in and I woke up with bumps all over my face the next day. Great timing before going to a 250 person engagement party. Oh, they also had an issue that I bought and paid for the treatment in advance and asked if I could send a copy of that email to someone in the store because there was a glitch in their system (maybe that's why I didn't get any sort of treatment). If this is how all of your customers are treated, then good luck to you, there are many many high end places in the city that charge less money and we have a COMFORTABLE experience. I've even had better experiences at Mario Bedascu for $50. read more

Words can't describe the time I spent with these amazing folks. Their state of the art skin analysis showed that I wasn't in as bad a shape that I thought Iwas! their state of the art technology showed that I was a bit dehydrated (who isn't in the winter) They asked what my skin concerns were and suggested a facial that was specific to my needs. Then they introduced me to my aesthetician who was simply wonderful and informative. She added a few more recommendations during the course of the facial at no extra charge!! The entire place was warm and welcoming, they had a place for a manicure and pedicure (wish I knew that!!) And the room had a heated bed and essential oils filled the air!!! It felt as though I was there for hours! My aesthetician treated me to a hand and arm massage that was out of this world! Had such a great experience! I signed up for their promo on Instagram which was a microcurrent facial I believe. Normally priced at $300 but promo was for $55. So glad that I did! I was first contacted by Brian via phone, who was sooooo friendly and answered all of my tedious and annoying questions about the facial that was going to be performed. Tommy at the front desk, was so good about fitting my cousin in, whom I wanted to join me for the promo as well. I was so skeptical when I first signed up because I know how these promo bait and switch schemes work. Thankfully this was not the case with this place. I felt like I still received a full service facial even at the promo price. Nancy performed my facial and she has the most softest hands and an incredible technique. She was super patient with all my questions and concerns( I talk a lot). I really liked all of the products she used on me. My skin really did look a lot tighter and smoother after the facial. Nathan, whom I believe is the sales manager, was also such a delight to work with. He was willing to work with the price I wanted to spend on a package ( I loved the facial so much that I wanted more)and did his best to meet my budget. This place is not cheap, but because of their excellent customer service, willingness to work with my budget( not being pushy either), the quality of my facial and my results, and the tranquil spa ambiance, I will be coming back and recommending my friends, family, clients and colleagues. It's a total scam! I don't know if this review will be seen by other clients because all negative and bad reviews from every social platform gets deleted. So, if you had a bad experience and write a bad review chance are it won't be seen. With that being said... This place is a scam. They lure you with promotional treatments for $50-$80, but in the end, they expect you to buy products and 4 treatments for thousands of dollars. They harass you to book an appointment and after booking they reschedule you because they have other clients already waiting. They will reschedule you a couple of times before you cancel the appointment and want nothing to do with it. Then they will call you again a month later to rebook. Rinse and repeat. The products aren't great. I got a couple of creams and had no effect. There are better and cheaper places compared to this spa. They say they are luxury but that's only when they hand you the bill, there is nothing luxurious about it. I recommend using promotional treatment and running after that. Don't subscribe to their fraudulent service program. read more
