Elevation LVK is close to work so tried it a few times. Some food items are good while others I wouldn't get again. The biggest issue is the service. They tend to be understaffed, even when not busy. You can walk in when there are just a few customers, yet still have to wait a while just to see if anyone is even working there. Then after being seated, more long time gaps to place drink order, then getting the drinks, then ordering food, then getting the food. Can't come here anymore with a group of people during work lunch since the process takes too long. Employees are polite but seem tied up multitasking. Also, it's a bit pricey - both food and drinks/beer. Very limited beer selection. Place needs to realize its competing against Beeb's down the road, which tends to be pretty busy and the local go to place. read more

A good time was had by all last night. It was extremely hot but once the sun went down it was game on. I have seen Salvage Title a handful of times so I knew the entertainment would not disappoint. Our server Dylan was personable and took care of us very well and always with a smile despite how hard he was working in the heat and the amount of tables he had to cover. Harmail the manager came by to check on us and even provided a sweet treat for our birthday girl. The location and ambiance of this establishment is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already! Side note, there was mishap with the sprinklers. The city owns the property and did not alert the restaurant of the change in the sprinkler schedule. Unfortunately the entertainment had to be cut short but this was beyond Elevations control. Was it busy? Yes. Were servers spread a little thin? Yes. I would like to see any of the patrons attempt this line of work especially when it's hot and busy. I like Elevation LVK and found the food and service provided excellent! Not sure why so many said the service was less than adequate. I've been there twice and both times ordered the lamb burger ( I love lamb) . It was prepared the way I asked and the fries were delicious, crisp and generous. Both nights we were there bands were playing and I was surprised that there wasn't more people. The only negative comment I have is that the first night the band was lackluster and actually the lead singer, when the band was playing an instrumental song, she actually came around with her "tip jar" . I found that a little off putting. I don't mind a tip jar but going table to table was too much. Puts you on the spot and like most people I barely have any cash on me anymore. This is a "heads up/mark your calendar" review of Elevation - a place that is super unique for the East Bay and has enormous potential. Note: It's in soft launch so mark your calendars for mid-February for the real opening. That doesn't imply don't come sooner but we're excited to see the final, full menu when they officially launch. We came in for a cocktail to check out the atmosphere and see what the early reviewers were talking about. The location is interesting to say the least - you're in an airport terminal which sounds weird but everything about the terminal and Elevation itself screams very high-end. The lighting and decor inside the restaurant is very modern - sort of techno-urban. You have these fantastic views of the runway and we got there around sunset which really added to the vibe. The bar is not fully operational yet so be prepared for a limited set of cocktails, beer and wine but we sat at the bar and got a chance to meet the staff. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly - they offered and we accepted a nice, free green salad. There are many issues they are still working through - hours on Yelp don't reflect what they are actually doing (or they are moving their hours around) but they are open on the weekend from 5pm-9pm for drinks and/or dinner. The staff was doing a lot of internal discussion to try and synch up. The real POS is not in yet (but Square works for now). So, I wrote this review to send up the "bat signal" that Elevation could really be a fantastic edition to the East Bay restaurant scene. I'm marking my calendar for mid-February. read more

My family and I absolutely love this spot! It is unique, delicious, and very friendly!! So far we've only tried their breakfast and everything has been spectacular! They told us they are currently on their "soft opening" and just recently were approved for their liquor license. With that being said the kind bartenders personally check in with you to make sure you like the drink because if not, they said they would happily adjust it. :) In addition, the servers are willing to go above and beyond to ensure your experience is up to par. This was our first visit to Elevation LVK. It was too cold to sit outside, so we settled for inside. The hostess was very nice and we were given a table promptly. Our server was also the bartender. She was polite and came quickly to the table. My Titos and Cran was very good. My wife ordered wine and when she tasted it she said it was vinegary meaning it was old and had been open too long. Our server, did not offer to open a new bottle or say that was the last bottle. she said to pick another wine. Does that mean she would keep the open bottle for the next person? Our food came, the New York Steak was very good as were the mashed potatoes. My wife said her salmon was good. She was puzzled by the green salad, which was basic salad, but included sliced strawberries and whole blue berries. Our server let my wife substitute her vegetables for the side salad, but then charged is $5 for the salad. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is sterile. There is way too much bright ceiling lights. It is like eating in a cafeteria. Especially compared to the tables outside which are dark. Wine is pricey, Cabernet for $15, Titos $13. Maybe give it another try in the spring or summer, if their still in business. read more

Amazing experience! Food was excellent, atmosphere was delightful and casually upscale with a saxophonist performing, abundant blue skies and space, and respectful seating for groups and families to eat and talk without getting distracted by another party. Felt like we were in our own world outdoors on the spacious patio area! Also loved seeing the smaller planes in the background and our little kids especially enjoyed it. First and last time I will come here. My wife and I have heard good things about breakfast and lunch and made the mistake to try it for dinner with another couple on a Saturday night. Looking at the menu with $30-40 entrees we thought it would be medium/fine dining. NOPE! I am trying hard to start with some positives, but all I can come up with is that the waitress and other folks remained polite and professional even though we were clearly not happy and disappointed with most aspects of the evening. We should have just left when the live music was a bad 80s/90s cover band. We knew there would be live music, but assumed that at this price point it would have been soothing jazz or soft rock. Not a too loud college bar style cover band. We ordered a couple of Apps and our entrees. We had finished drinks and were wondering when the Apps would come. Wondered a bit longer. Complained to ourselves about the music, were relieved when the band took a break. And then the Apps and entrees all came at the same time. The waitress was confused when we explained that this was a problem. They could not even fit the Apps and entrees on the table, the suggested solution was to bring over another table. We sent the charcuterie board back and started eating our entrees. My lamb chops were mediocre at best, basically lamb lollipop apps as an entree for $38 with a really heavy balsamic reduction. No one else seemed to like their entrees either (paella, salmon on salad, roasted chicken). The roasted chicken was not. It was just a beaten grilled chicken breast. My wife had to send back the salmon as it tasted off (I can't remember her ever sending something back) and she did say the second piece of fish was much better. We watched people eat as we continued to take pictures. Finally seated after we kept checking for a table. The table was not set as we passed utensils down to our family. Came here in April. We (4 adults) and another couple at another table were the only patrons for lunch. Service was pleasant and food came out in a timely manner. We had fish tacos, calamari, fries and hamburger plate. The food is good but a little pricey. As the restaurant had big windows, we were able to enjoy the view of the airfield. I visited LVK in a group of three for my friend's 21st birthday; I made the reservation online and added the birthday celebration in the notes. When we got there the hostess didn't have access to the list of reservations and had to grab the manager to check us in; the manager offered to let us choose indoor or outdoor dining and apparently they don't check vaccination cards for indoor dining. I even called ahead of time to check and it went straight to voicemail. Before I actually give my feedback I have to say, for outdoor dining, I only noticed maybe two or three out of a staff of maybe ten are wearing masks while serving guests. I didn't know it was optional for businesses to have optional mask mandates whether they have indoor/outdoor service. To be honest, as soon as we picked our seats we maybe waited ten to fifteen minutes before our server (who was also the hostess) took our drink order. Although the live music and the view were nice, it was weird that after they grabbed our food order no one came to check on us. Our server didn't update us on our food (we ordered around 7 and got out food somewhere close to 8?), or check for water refills or anything? It was just weird. We even asked to get the outdoor heater moved to the corner we were in three times and no one did anything about it until we had already paid our check. Honestly, I wish I sent my food back because I had ordered the seafood paella and my friends both had steaks. The only thing hot in my pan was the seafood, but the rice seemed to be at a lukewarm temperature. My friends enjoyed their steaks, but we noticed our food wasn't hot like it came out of the kitchen right away, so we wondered if it had been sitting out long. Our hostess completely forgot about us though! She didn't even come back to ask how our food was or ask if we needed a check. I had to ask one of the busboys to ask through a friend of a friend for a freaking check! I even asked her for a box (I felt guilty for wasting food) and she forgot about it too, so I walked up to one of the bartenders and he was irritated because he had to do someone else's job (but he was super sincere about the inconvenience). I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating manager to work with, Harmail was very helpful, he made the planning process go smoothly. A friend and I were looking for a new place to visit with a band she enjoyed. We ended up at Elevation LVK and to our surprise the Livermore Airport! We were not disappointed. We were greeted by a welcoming staff. It was about 100 degrees outside so with their suggestion we started inside their beautiful glassed restaurant and enjoyed some wine. Then moved outside when it cooled to enjoy delicious food and live music with a back drop of the hills and small planes. Every seat has a close view of the band and there is space for dancing which was taken advantage of. Manager Karam Gill was there to make sure everything made for a delightful evening. I hosted a post wedding brunch for my daughter and son in law. The atmosphere was lovely with a glass wall overlooking the tarmac and planes landing/taking off. We were a large group of 23 adults and 4 littles under six. It was comfortable and quite pretty. Our server, Lauren was the epitome of grace under fire. She was the solo server for all of us. We requested a mimosa table with bubbly and a variety of juices. It was ample and served everyone partaking and individual tastes. The food was more than ample and delicious. Several, including myself, ordered the country fried steak breakfast - delicious! I could only manage about 1/3, and took the rest home. I nibbled on it the rest of the day, still scrumptious! The manager on duty offered a tour of the tarmac for the littles, and it was a hit! The kids loved watching the planes up close, and were given a tour of a helicopter. The youngest was enthralled (just over 1). He would see a plane coming down the runway, pointed and squealed! Absolutely adorable! Our server, Lauren, was beyond polite and accommodating! She was, as mentioned earlier, "flying" solo - not in any way easy with such a large group of chatty people getting to know each other as two families meld. My sincere thanks to Lauren! Harmail, the manager, was very kind whenever I called with questions, concerns, changes as I was a very nervous and rather stressed Mother of the Bride. The entire experience was top notch and very relaxed. We were not rushed, snd it was a beautiful top off for a beautiful weekend, sending the newlyweds off with love and support! So I decided to take my Uncle here for lunch, on our way to Frisco. He was visiting for Easter from So Cal & has never been in the area. I figured since I love this place so much, he would too. I definitely wasn't wrong. He enjoyed the relaxing & beautiful atmosphere. Took lots of pics of the planes & lots of selfies. He was impressed on how well the staff were friendly, attentive & how the food wasn't lacking flavor & his steak cooked to his liking. Ran into Abe who is part of the family business & he conversated a bit with my Uncle & checked with us several times to make she we were all good.
