Well I dont want to repaint it every 3 years so I scheduled a DRYVIT coating to be applied. Its a polymere coating that is waterprooof and much better than paint. Had to shedule the application for the 3rd week of june, 56 days after the purchase. Since I am not the only customer the company doing the dryvit work has, i was at the mercy of thier schedule. Then we get notice that our insurance company is cancelling the policy because of peeling paint!!!! They were so rigid that they could not wait 42 days for a superior coating to be applied to the foundation. This company in my opinion sucks and has no need for my business. The estimate from a reputable and reliable contractor was $10,000.00 (this was a small claim compared to the huge losses my neighbors had). After many months the SF agent handling the claim (not Dean) called me and said a check for $3,028 was on the way (less than 1/3 of the estimate) . I sat on that for a while and then called Dean to get his take on it. Turns out it did not seem right to him either. Within 48 hours I received word from SF that my claim had been upped by around $6,500. Now all my damages are covered and I have no one to thank but Dean Pappas. I am a relatively new client of Dean's having moved my account from an agent in a previous city of residence.
