I was diagnosed with a torn meniscus and my sports med doc wrote me a script to see a PT for…read morescrapping and dry needling. My PT determined my knee issue was likely caused by my tight hip flexors. She treated both knees (even though my script was only for one knee-I did have pain in both) and my hip flexors. She taught me exercises and stretches, too. The dry needling is a life saver. I went from not being able to squat down to get something from a cabinet to being able to do all the things like normal! My normal is running a half marathon and doing a leg day all in one day. Oh, and she taught me how to use KT tape for my knees in case I need that support! Thanks, Lindsay!!! Thanks, Country Roads!
