I've been attending Elevate Life Church for almost a year now, and it has truly become a place where I can reset, recharge, and reconnect with God. One of the things I absolutely love is the flexibility of the service times -- 1 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday (8am, 9:45am, 11:30am & 1:15pm). No matter what your schedule looks like, there's usually a way to make it work. They also send weekly text reminders about events and services if you sign up, which is honestly a great way to stay connected and take a break from the stress and chaos of everyday life.
Pastor Jeremy Baker is one of the biggest reasons I continue to come. You can genuinely tell he loves God and loves people, and both he and his wife are very humble. His messages are relatable, encouraging, and impactful. Honestly, when he's not preaching, I find myself a little disappointed because I enjoy his teaching style that much.
The church is very welcoming, and I appreciate that there's no pressure about what you wear. Coming from a stricter church background, it feels refreshing to just come as you are. The atmosphere is modern, uplifting, and full of energy. I also love that they have the worship lyrics on the screens, which makes it easy to follow along even if you don't know the words. They also have separate worship and services for the youth, which is great for younger people to connect and grow in their faith.
One thing to know: this church is growing FAST. Parking is great, but if there's a conference or special event, definitely arrive at least 30 minutes early because it gets packed. I've had to stand during services several times coming straight from work because the building was so full -- which honestly says a lot about the impact the church is having.
I also love that they're expanding to accommodate the growth. My only wish is that they would add a mid-week Bible study for people wanting deeper teaching and connection throughout the week.
Overall, ELC has been a blessing in my life, and I'm grateful I found it. Also... please don't take away my favorite 1:15pm service! read more
