Everyone is always super sweet and nice and Maria, who is the owner, always is flexible and always willing to work with you. This place is awesome! I actually came in as a walk in on a Saturday and they were able to see me right away. All the staff is really friendly and the place is very clean. I sat down with Delainey who is truly amazing. I have a really round face and I've always had long hair. My hair was damaged towards the end because I have dyed it so many times, there for I wanted to go shorter...like.. over the shoulder shorter! She understood exactly what hairstyle I wanted and what I did not want it to look like. I was really nervous since i have never done short hair, but she reassured me and even gave her honest opinion. I have been getting my nails done here for years by Cindy. Both Stacey and Cindy are wonderful! I always get shellac and will also treat myself to a pedicure. Their pedicures are to die for! great massages, relaxing I don't ever feel rushed. I've had acrylic nails for a long time and my nail have never been healthier! I have fine hair and have a hard time finding people that know how to cut it. I called the salon specifically requesting someone that knows how to handle fine hair and that can layer it to give volume. When I arrived the people were nice and the salon was clean. I was not prepared for what my hair would look like leaving the salon. Instead of walking out with a a-line and layered like I requested, I received bangs, layers at the top of my head that make my hair poof around the crown of my head, hair longer in the back than the front and layers that cut at uneven lengths around my face. I would rank this as one of the worst hair cuts I've ever received and am dreading going to work on monday. I look forward to when my hair is long enough to get this fixed. read more

I went and had my hair cut and colored. Sam was FANTASTIC. If I only dealt with her, the review would have had 5 stars, but I dealt with the manager. The manager, Maria, kept walking around sweeping, which is great, but then kept interrupting mine and Sam's conversation. Towards the end of my session a young man came in looking to get his hair cut and colored as well. Great, Maria wasn't doing anything so she could get started. WRONG. Maria came over and told Sam to start on working with the young man and she would finish up with my hair. I think not! Thankfully, Sam thought the same. Sam did a fantastic job on my hair and did not rush in order to help the next customer. Thank you Sam! At check out, Maria took over and told me my final price. I asked if that included the $30 off from yelp, she said yes. Interesting, since I didn't ask about it when I scheduled my appointment and I only mentioned it after you told me my total. I cannot believe you lie to your customers!!! The ad says to call and mention it, which I did not mention it on the phone so you wouldn't even know about it. If Sam ever works somewhere other than with you I will follow her, but I cannot support a business who lies to their customers, can't cut or color hair themselves when it is YOUR business, and has the audacity to tell your employee to stop working on one client and go work on another. RUDE. If you do go here, ask for Sam and do NOT deal with the Maria. read more

After reading all the great reviews, I was excited to call and make an appt for major hair cut. My hair had grown long and I was ready for new, short look and this seemed like the perfect place. Ten minutes before my appt, just as I was driving into the parking lot, I received a call that my stylist was behind and I could come in later. I told the receptionist I was parking the car and was already here, had she called me sooner, I could have used come in later. So I went in, was greeted by a lady working at the desk, was asked to sign in and took at seat and waited and waited and waited. I watched several other clients come and get started while I watched. In the end after waiting for over 30 min, a stylist who was not my scheduled stylist asked if I wanted her to take me while she waited for her client's color. I was hesitant, but also did not want to continue waiting so I took her offer. I felt rushed, did not get the cut I was hoping for and did not care for the style, washed it out when I got home. Perhaps, if I had continued to wait for my scheduled stylist I would have a better experience, but I had already waited over half an hour and they could not tell me how much longer it would be. The price was too high for a quick cut and style, not even a shampoo or blow dry included. Will not be returning and feel disappointed based on all the great reviews, had high expectations. read more

I needed my roots colored & a trim. At 5pm on a Friday, I called around to see if any salon would take a last minute walk in - I was not optimistic. After 3 failed attempts at other salons, Elements picked up and said "come on in!" Lucky me, Yelp had a coupon for a cut & color! They really did a good job on color correcting my hair. It was an awesome experience. They accepted me right away even though I was only a walk in. My hair was blue on my roots combined with a silver color. And they fixed that by coloring my roots black and turned it to a balayage, just like the picture I showed them. 10/10!! Jenny was absolutely wonderful! She did my hair and makeup for a wedding and I could not have been happier with the results! See, I have really thick, difficult hair that I've always felt self-conscious about, but Jenny made my hair look absolutely beautiful. She also did a beautiful job with makeup. I went to a few other makeup artists and asked them to do a simple, natural look since I'm very unused to wearing a full face of makeup, but I always felt uncomfortable with the results.
