A gifted woman... Thank you Casie for your magic touch! I have been seeing Casie for about a month and today my shoulder pain has resolved. It feels like a miracle. Very qualified, very helpful and educated in all body work scenarios. Would highly recommend this business to anyone.

Dr. Kacie is amazing! She is so great with my baby boy - sweet, patient, and so gentle. We started seeing her at 5 weeks old to help with latch issues. Now at 8 weeks old, he is nursing like a total champ and is a much happier baby all around! read more

I can't really say enough about her. After a few months of seeing her regularly, my posture is better than it has been in many decades. I am seeing progress I never imagined. read more

I have known Dr. Kacie for many years, and have consistently found her work to be a sum of her skillful expertise, insight, intuition, and natural loving way. She is a gift to the healing resources of the Rogue Valley, and worth the travel if you need special care. She is a great chiropractic physician, woman, and individual. Thank you always Dr. Kacie. read more

Let me take you on a step by step journey through my first visit with Dr. Kacie. First, I drive up to her office and find parking right out front. This is particularly excellent because I'm 32 weeks pregnant and going to see her for pain when I walk. Then, I enter into this beautiful, relaxing atmosphere, where soft music is playing and am greeted by her friendly assistant, who has opened the door for me. How nice! Next, I get the paperwork to fill out which is simple and straightforward. Not a moment after I am done, her assistant takes me back to meet Dr. Kacie. My first impression of Dr. Kacie is that she is a friendly, gentle woman who was sincerely interested in building and nurturing a therapeutic relationship with me. That was fantastic. And it's special when you don't feel like just.another.patient. Big giant points right there. She reviewed my paperwork, asked some questions, explained a brief overview of chiropractic, thoughtfully abbreviating it (as I had indicated a high level of familiarity with chiropractic care on my paperwork) and then with no further adieu, got me on the table, complete with pregnancy pillows designed for the mama belly! Let me say here that I've been to chiropractors before who before they will even touch you want to take all sorts of measurements and discuss your use of pharmaceuticals, even want to do x-rays. I've been to the type who want to see you every 3 days and end up hyper-mobilizing your joints and making your spine pretty unstable. As soon as I got comfortable on the table, Dr. Kacie started to palpate my spinal restrictions very gently. As someone familiar with body work, the BEST sign of someone who is going to pay great respect to your body is someone who doesn't need a lot of force to understand its limitations. She found where I was stuck, explained everything she was doing, and here's the best part.... SHE MOVED THINGS BACK INTO PLACE GENTLY! I got immediate relief, so much so that I started to laugh and say Yay! right there on the table. And just because my pelvis felt better didn't mean the appointment was over. She started at my feet and went straight up to my neck and head before I left the appointment that day. She suggested a follow up appointment a week later to check on how my body held the adjustments. Totally reasonable and responsible! On my way out, I was informed of her amazing policy for newborn care, options to reduce my out of pocket costs on return visits, and was scheduled for my follow up without delay. Let's review: 1) No waiting, completely convenient and comfortable location 2) No delay on treatment - 1st appointment relief! 3) A thorough treatment, not stopping at where my complaint ended. 4) Ultimate confidence in my safety and her mindful respect for my body and my baby. 5) Excellent bedside manner (which we know is not true of all doctors)! 6) She's cost conscious and works to help make her healing art available to those on a budget! She then sent me an email the day after the appointment, personally, to check on how I was feeling. I mean - WHAT? That's unheard of. I'm already a loyal patient of Dr. Kacie's after a single meeting, because I left her office feeling like she would naturally prioritize my health and well being without judging, pushing or harming me or baby. I could not recommend her more. She's fabulous. read more

After working with an amazingly talented chiropractor in the area for a couple of years, I felt that I had come as far as I was going to with that individual, & that my body could benefit from branching out & working with someone new. I was referred to Dr. Kacie by a very good friend of mine who is a chiropractor in Arizona. I called Kacie, we chatted briefly about her fees, availability, & what I was looking to gain from seeing her. As we spoke over the phone, I noticed my body relaxing & moving more freely than before the call. We scheduled it, & 2 days later I was on a table in her beautiful new practice. Parking was easy-peasy! It's on a fairly residential block of Claremont. I was able to just pull up & park. No parking meters, no circling the block. Having gone to school for interior design, I take notice in every detail around me. Much like Dr. Kacie herself, her office is calming & peaceful, yet energizing. It's professional while remaining fun. The colors are soothing, but not boring. The adjusting area is very spacious & open, but maintains a cozy feel. Dr. Kacie practices BGI chiropractic, which I will break down in my layman's explanation as... working with the entire body; the muscles, tissue, & even the energy stored in the body before doing any structural adjustments. Speaking for myself, the actual structural adjusting is typically total ease once the energy has been released from my muscles, ligaments, etc. Dr. Kacie also encourages breath work, which makes the entire process even more yummy and relaxing. Focusing deep breathing into certain areas of your body... is like being massaged from the inside out. How does it get any better than that?!! After our initial visit, I left feeling totally relaxed. My body moved with grace & ease. As I went about my day I noticed that I had much more energy than I had been experiencing over the past few weeks. read more

After a less than ideal experience many years ago with a chiropractor I wasn't very hopeful when my orthopedic surgeon suggested visiting one. Dr. Kacie Flegal sure turned around my opinion. She's helped me a great deal. My use of OTC pain killers has gone from a couple of times a day down to almost none. In addition to adjustments, Dr. Kacie taught me some exercises to help. Her demeanor is kind, caring, and optimistic. She's a great listener and empathetic. The pricing structure seems very reasonable, although I haven't surveyed other chiropractors. There are discounts for buying multiple treatments at once. The room has 4 tables in it and she will work on other patients during your rest periods. I didn't find this at all bothersome. Several of my sessions ended up being without other patients. I'm so happy with my experience at Elements of Being. read more

I'm so happy that Dr. Kara Waltz, formerly from Alive, has chosen to move to this new location! Kara has such a calm, attentive approach to service that I decided to follow her to her new "home"- and I'm so happy that I did! As a newbie to chiro- adjustments, I was assured as soon as I met her. She always checks in with patients about their preferred style of adjustments, and works with the individual to provide extremely detailed care. Kara also has spent time with me to discuss additional lifestyle adjustments I can make to improve my overall health, such as stretches or exercises to consider. I've had such positive physical and emotional impacts of this work, and I attribute much of this to Kara's comprehensive, professional, and generous attention. In short- Dr. Kara goes highly recommended. read more

Dr Flegel is very knowledgeable, competent, and compassionate. I highly recommend her

This was my first time ever going in to a Chiropractor today. I'm so glad Dr. Kacie was my first! I am pregnant with my 2nd child, and suffered a separation of my pubis synthesis during delivery of my first child. I am starting to suffer from lower back pains and pains in my pelvis again. Dr. Kacie was very knowledgeable about my issues, and very proactive. Though I like my OBGYN, I just don't feel like she is offering me much proactive advice on what I can do to alleviate, and possibly avoid the same thing happening in this pregnancy. OB's solution: Take meds. Dr. Kacie had a lot of information and understanding of what could possibly cause the pain and how it is actually a "symptom" rather than the "effect" of the problem. I was nervous to "get adjusted" because being pregnant. It didn't feel like she did a whole at first because her treatment was so gentle. But after about 2 hours of being at work after my appointment, it dawned on me that I am getting out of my chair and walking around with little to no pain in my lower back! Wow! I can't wait to return next week! Thank-you Dr. Kacie. Totally recommend seeing Dr. Kacie for pelvic, back, pregnancy related pains. I received much of my mobility and confidence back after a few visits. read more

Dr. Kacie Flegal is such a rockstar that not only do I go at least once a week to bask in her healing glow, I've convinced my husband and parents to do the same. Not only is she a patient and gifted practitioner, she also happens to be one of the just plain nicest people you'll ever meet. My dad called me after his first visit with her and said "I walked out of there feeling great, and kind of like I'd just met another daughter." Kacie is deceptively strong for such a petite lady, so she can do some serious skeletal adjusting when need be...but most of my appointments are spent with her simply touching, stretching and applying gentle pressure to the places that need it the most. You might feel like you haven't had much done when you leave, but after a couple of hours, you'll marvel at how much better you feel. Get thee to Kacie Flegal, and feel the love. read more

Dr. Kacie has gentle, firm hands that always make me feel like she's paying attention to my body in a way that very few body workers do. Her approach is loving and kind, and all of the pregnant moms and kids in the space make it clear that hers is a safe space for anyone. While I'm not a baby or a mom, I'd recommend Dr. Kacie highly to anyone who wants to feel more peace and freedom of movement in their body! read more

Best chiropractor to help with posture. Now I know how to stand up straight. Most loving person I have ever met.

I started going to elements of being when I was 37 weeks pregnant and my baby was breech. Dr. Kacie was wonderful, caring and extremely encouraging. Although my little one never turned I felt so much tension and pressure release starting after my first visit. Although I had thought about going to a chiropractor during the pregnancy I never found the time early on, I really regret that and wish I had given myself that opportunity. She has a wonderful cushion setup to lay flat on your stomach while she adjust the back. As all pregnant women know that alone was a great feeling. All adjustments were done comfortably and she always checked with me to make sure I was ok with the pressure that was being used. Now, my baby is two months old and we went in again to get adjusted. After two months of nursing, awkward neck positions of holding a restless baby, and ache back from all the sitting, I am looking forward to getting my body back into a healthy comfortable position. She also looked at my baby and immediately picked up on two things that I had noticed as well. As she adjusted her neck (no cracking or twisting) I immediately saw my little ones face relax as if her neck had been really uncomfortable. That evening she just kept turning her head from one side to the other as if "wow, this is how it should be", she seemed very happy and had never shown that head behavior prior to that day. I highly recommend giving her a try with any chiropractor need. She is caring, gentle, and has a natural ability that is reassuring. read more

Dr. Kacie Flegal is awesome. She has the sweetest disposition and a real passion for what she does. I've had lower back pain on and off for months and after my first visit the pain meter went from 10 to 3! Dr. Flagal is very good about checking in and making sure what she's doing works for you. She has a breadth of knowledge of birthing and pregnancy. I love the atmosphere she puts forth, calming music, muted colors, nice reading material and water and tea in the waiting room. Her office manager Salina is very nice too. This is a great place for someone new to chiropractic treatment. read more

Yes. I have seen Dr. Kacie several times since she opened her new office. At first, I was a little skeptical, but now I look forward to that time all week. The experience itself is very soothing, and I always leave feeling super relaxed and at home in my body. Since seeing her, I've noticed myself being much more aware and in tune with what's going on in my body. The space itself is beautiful. She's done a wonderful job keeping in calming and nurturing and comfortable. I always park right out front. Go check it out!! read more

I recently switched from non-pregnant patient to seeing Dr. Kacie as a prenatal patient and I have to say, its because of her that we are even in this position where I can be a prenatal patient. Our only life change has been adding chiropractic to my health care regimen and its been exciting to feel freedom in my body. That freedom helped us conceive after years of trying! Something I didn't expect would be a result of happy, healthy, vitalism thanks to chiropractic but so grateful for. I loved Dr. Kacie as my regular chiropractor before, but I now can't shout from the roof tops enough about having her as my prenatal chiropractor. Her care is still individual based and thorough. She checks in at every appointment to see how you're feeling as your pregnancy progresses, and she and her office manager are so aware of your needs and want nothing more than to make a pregnant mama comfortable from the moment you walk through the door. How amazing is that! I love that Catherine (office manager) is so sweet and helpful and always asks what will make me most comfortable and makes the scheduling process so easy. She is bubbly and informative and I love seeing her welcoming face when I come into the office. Upon my first prenatal appointment, Dr. Kacie even took the time out to almost start from scratch and let me ask all the burning questions I had about chiropractic care during pregnancy. All my fears about adjusting with baby on board were settled and I felt so at ease, as if I was seeing Dr. Kacie for the first time. She takes such great care of me as mama to be, and it feels like she is taking care of baby in the womb to. What is better than thorough care like that! I love how welcoming she is, and even as a long term patient now, I feel just as special and cared for as the moment I first walked into her office. read more

If you are at all anxious about going to a Chiropractor, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kacie. She's warm and caring and very skilled at adjustments. She's really good at working with you and letting you know what needs to be adjusted or worked on. The office is very comfortable and there is even a private adjusting room if you need that. Highly recommended! read more

I always look forward to my visits with Dr. Kacie Flegal. I go in every few weeks for a tune-up and float out of her studio afterwards feeling like a new person. Not just like a "less-aches and fewer-pains" kind of person, but a calm, connected, inspired, and energized person. She's got the knowledge and skills to help you with your injuries and musculoskeletal problems, but she focuses on adjusting you as a whole person. As a chiropractor myself, I'm very picky about who I allow to work on my body. I totally trust that she's not going to hurt me. She's capable of generating a lot of force, but seems to have a strong sense of what's appropriate for your body, and doesn't use any more force than is necessary. Kacie takes her time to find just the right places to adjust that will be the most comfortable and effective for you. She has an open adjusting room with several tables, which allows her to work with several clients at once. If you're new to that format, you may think that she'd get distracted or that you wouldn't get the attention you deserved. I've found quite the opposite to be true. Kacie is very tuned-in to what's happening with each person, and knows just when to keep working on you, and just when to step away after working her magic to give your body the time and space to heal. She also maintains a respectful/honoring space, so it feels comfortable to me to share what's going on with me even if other clients may overhear. Bonuses: beautiful space, easy parking, relaxing music. read more

Dr. Kacie is the best! I am a prenatal patient and came to her feeling emotional, in some pain and stressed out. I left feeling a greater sense of flow in my body, especially my hips and more connected to my baby. I appreciate how accommodating she is to all financial needs, as well as how warm and welcoming she is. Dr. Kacie made my day, and definitely is a gifted healer! Highly recommend to all! read more

I started seeing Kacie for Webster Technique to turn my breech baby. She was gentle and supportive and the baby turned successfully. She also told me that creating additional space in my pelvis with chiropractic would help with delivery and lo and behold, 6 hour labor! I am not always a fan of chiropractors but I trusted Dr. Flegal with my pregnant body and am totally glad that I did. Anthem Blue Cross HMO only refers one DC in my area and I sure wish he were anywhere near as gentle and cool as Kacie. read more

Dr. Kacie is amazing. Simply amazing. I have referred several people to her and everyone LOVES Dr. Kacie!!!

I've been seeing Dr. Kacie for about 3 weeks now for pain in my lower back. She is WONDERFUL! This is the first time I've ever gone to a chiropractor and it has really helped. It took a few sessions, but I'm finally feeling some release. Also, I'm not pregnant or have any children--I think the website really emphasizes that bc that's what she specializes in, but she see's everyone. Her practice is really lovely, clean, and I've been totally happy going there. Dr. Kacie is really gentle, takes her time and talked me through the whole process, especially since this was my first time at a chiro. Hoping to be totally healed (fingers crossed) soon! I'd recommend Dr. Kacie to anyone. You can tell she really enjoys her job and I can't blame her--it's a great business! read more

I have seen many different chiropracters due to an old injury, and because I have moved around quite a bit the last few years. I feel incredibly lucky to have finally found Dr. Kacie, and can say she is the best I have seen. Even though I have moved thirty minutes away, I continue to see her. Some of the reasons I consider Dr. Kacie to be an excellent chiropracter: -She is very knowledgable and skilled, her treatments relieve my back pain, and I feel relaxed afterwards -She is friendly, compassionate, and so incredibly positive -Her office is in a convenient location with easy parking. -The environment is relaxing and attractive read more

Dr. Kacie is amazing. I was a quick fan after my very first visit with her over 2 years ago. She is a great listener and very skilled at her trade. I'm even inspired to consider joining her in this line of work. She has a great space, parking is easy. Celina is a great addition to the practice, makes scheduling VERY easy, very helpful and kind. I've referred many a friend and family member to see Kacie. I bring my whole family now to see her, spouse and both kids (6yrs and 8yrs). We benefit tremendously from regular adjustments. I like watching her practice grow in creative and inspiring ways, from offering multiple payment packages and plans, to hosting educational wellness classes, to sharing great info on facebook and the like. Go see this woman - she is worth every minute and dollar! My only regret is that I didn't find her sooner!! read more

Dr. Kacie is the best. So gentle, precise and effective. I'm noticing powerful changes in my body.

Dr. Kacie is truly a gifted compassionate healer who uses a variety of chiropractic techniques for adjustments. I didn't know what to expect, but after years of chronic pain and muscle tightness I finally decided to explore chiropractic adjustments instead of more medications to simply block the pain. Elements of Being is located in a quiet residential area with easy freeway access and a lovely space filled with natural light and soothing colors. Everything about my visits there promotes a sense of healing, relaxation and wholeness. Celina, her office manager, helps set the tone with her calm, caring professional manner and attention to details. My husband came to see Dr. Kacie after noticing the dramatic difference in my posture and overall well-being. Now we both look forward to seeing her and feel blessed to be in the hands of a gifted healer! read more

I've been going to Kacie for a few years now. I started to go regularly when I was pregnant and have continued to go for postpartum care. I brought my baby girl to her at one week old and have continued treatments throughout this year at different transitional times..like teething and starting to crawl. I can not speak more highly of her quality of care. I completely trust her! Most recently my little girl was having trouble sleeping at night. She was going through a growth spurt and starting to talk..she is 9months old. My instinct said that something was uncomfortable. I tried massage and calming tea, gentle acupressure points but I could not release the tension. After this last session with Kacie, she is sleeping so well. Kacie's approach to the body is truly holistic. She is gentle and effective. Her treatments are an essential part of my health care regime. read more

Unfortunately I had a very negative experience with this practice. The day after an adjustment, I ended up in the ER for 6 hours due to muscle trauma to my neck that caused me to black out. This ended up costing us over $3000 out of pocket (after insurance), and I could barely move my neck for about a week afterwards - not so fun while pregnant with a toddler. This adjustment happened while in a room with 3 other patients, a newborn, and a toddler - with the doctor doing adjustments to all of us simultaneously. I can't help but think that I deserve the full attention of a chiropractor while doing dangerous adjustments to sensitive parts of the body like the neck - this style of group chiropractic is worrisome, and obviously I suffered the consequences. I had 3 adjustments prior to this with no issues. I hate to give such a negative review, as they are truly lovely people - but you should be aware of the risks. read more

Dr. Kacie Flegal offers a truly warm, supportive, caring environment for her patients. Her knowledge and understanding of the many factors that affect her patients' overall health make her an ideal practitioner. Her adjustments focus on more than just the movement of the spine. She also incorporates breathing, relaxation, stretching, and releasing of trapped energies into her treatments. I'd been seeing my previous chiropractor for close to 30 years. It took Dr. Flegal, with all of her warmth, compassion and skill to make me feel safe in trusting her to take over my chiropractic care. I'm so glad I did! read more

I never want to go to the chiropractor unless I need it and today, out of the blue, my ribs were killing me! If you have ever had this happen, it's painful, hard to breathe, hard to move. I called Elements of Being. I wasn't sure if I could get a new patient appointment, but luckily someone had cancelled! Woohoo! I filled out some paperwork, and then Dr. Kacie talked with me, for just a little bit. I really liked this because what i needed was her to put her hands on me and fix me, and she did!!!! I really appreciate it and feel a ton better now. Speaking from someone who has been to at least 10 chiropractors, and tons of other doctors for my back, neck, sciatica, fibromyalgia, this was a real relief! Dr. Kacie listened to me, since I told her I don't like the drop table and really treated me the way I needed. I was in, the doctor helped me, and I was out. They offer some GREAT yelp deals too!!!! If you haven't tried going here before, you might want to give it a try. Reasonably priced, good care, nice staff. I have already booked my follow-up appointment. read more
