Within an hour in had an answer back that yes, they would be happy to take my medical coverage i had. I then called and set my first appt up. After the first visit i went out to my car to leave and only after ONE adjustment my range of motion had improved when looking behind me to see cars when i was reversing my vehicle to leave! My only regret is not going to Dubuque Family Chiropractic sooner! Lynette L.

I can't say enough great things about the practice and about Dr. Ewen, who I was fortunate enough to see as my primary care doctor for 4 years. I was really surprised to find such a great practice in a small town like Dubuque. Specifically, my providers always listened to me and addressed my concerns. They didn't lecture me or act like they knew more than me. I really hated to move away, mostly because I knew I would lose Dr. Ewen and this practice. But if you're in or near Dubuque, I have the highest confidence in recommending Grand River Medical family practice.

Not having me or her father there to advocate for her, she had to attend this appointment by herself. She explained to him that they get so terrible that she often throws up and passes out. We instructed her to ask for an MRI, which she did. She was told no way is he sending her for an MRI for just migraines, gave her pills and told her to take for the rest of your life. That was it. When she was back in NYC for Christmas break we took her to a neurologist here. Two serious issues were found on her scan, both of which we will be following up with in New York. I'll start by saying Dr. Benda's bedside manner while treating a very nervous 19 year old girl was atrocious. Shame on this situation and you Dr. Benda, do better for the people that place their trust in you.
