I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator (Model#:GRFS2853AF/Serial #:4A53518277 on October 22, 2025, at a cost exceeding $1,900. The appliance is defective and has failed to function as expected within the two months since purchasing the refrigerator. The refrigerator does not dispense ice cubes, but instead gives crushed ice when placed on the cubed setting. A service technician came and assessed that the fridge is in need of a replacement part so that it can dispense cubed ice. Given the high cost and inconvenience, and due to the issue, I am formally requesting a brand-new refrigerator. A repair is not acceptable given the circumstances and the price of the appliance. Purchased a Frigidaire Gallery in 2019. Since day one we've had multiple issues. Repair people have been out six or seven times since then. The last three or four times, for the same issue. That is, food thawing out multiple times. Having to replace all the contents of our freezer more than once. Finally, the company agreed to replacement of the refrigerator. Company said they would send the paperwork by e-mail. We never received the e-mail. They said they would resend the e-mail. Again, we never received the e-mail. My wife wanted Electrolux for our new house because she has always heard they were reliable. We've owned the washer & dryer since July 24th 2025. Wednesday Jan 14 was the 6th time the service department has come out. The pulley on the washer has come off twice in 45 days. The dryer had metal to metal scraping sound. They had to repair a drum seal that was improperly installed at the factory. The repair man just left last night to reattach the washer drum pulley for 2nd time and today now the dryer sounds like a bearing is failing. He'll be back again Saturday. No way to escalate to someone in management including zero cooperation from Warners' Stelleon our retailer. Terrible customer service. read more

I know it is wrong to hate and I am really trying not to hate this company, but I hate their guts. There I said it. My health has been seriously impacted by the outstanding exceptional poor service and inhumane way their customer service department has treated me. I had the phone hanged up in my face over three times and waited for weeks waiting for service people to show up for appointments that they simply make and don't show. The Frigidaire company is the absolutely worst company I have seen in years. I paid $1,000s of dollars for this heat box to leak water all over my hardwood floors and spoil all my food. It beeps 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The repair people order the wrong part, and I wasted yet another day waiting to get my new Frigidaire fixed, but nope no part no fix. They want to replace it or fix it, but they will keep my money. I got a broke Frigidaire for the price of a new one. I got it from Home Depot in Schenectady Ny which is at best the most crappie Home Depot in the world since they were of no help in resolving this hot box!!!! Electrolux Home Products, Inc., the company responsible for Frigidaire appliance warranties, has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I filed a warranty claim in March for a broken refrigerator. They confirmed the issue. They acknowledged it's covered under warranty. And now, months later, they still haven't fixed it. No replacement. No repair. Just repeated delays, excuses, and a customer service team that clearly has no authority--or intention--to resolve anything. This has been one of the most frustrating and outrageous experiences I've ever had with any company. We've been left without a working fridge for months. Meanwhile, Electrolux continues to advertise their warranty like it means something. It doesn't. This company is running what feels like a scam--selling appliances with warranties they have no intention of honoring. It's deceptive, negligent, and completely disrespectful to consumers. I would not give this company any stars if that was an option. Their service department has sent three different technicians out to fix an Induction range purchased in February. The induction elements would just turn off while cooking at first had to reset the breaker form the stove to work, then it would just turn off and was able to turn on by using the controls. Repair attempts: Two of the were from local appliance repair companies the third was from Electrolux. First the induction elements were changed (first repair company second trip after diagnosis), second technician said the pots were bad (brand new Cuisinart). Factory tech came with their own pan and stove still turned off ordered two control boards after the factory tech ordered the (fourth trip). . The latest attempted repair swapped out two control boards and now the surface elements it will not turn on at all. That was on 4/28/25. Was told that a new part would not be shipped until May 5th, and a tech would not be available until May 8th. When attempting to elevate these issues with management the only thing available is the same customer support representatives. To make matters worse the manufacturer informed us that after three attempts to repair a new stove was the solution, NOT. I am still waiting for a customer representative to maybe find a solution with just about 40 minutes on hold. Spend the extra money maybe a Samsung or LG would be a better choice. It has not even been 3 years yet and it stopped keeping the temperature cold enough for the freezer and my frozen food got soft. We called to have it repaired and we were told to fix it would cost too much so the warranty would not repair it. So we now have to get another refrigerator. I can not believe the poor quality of your refrigerators. This was a $2,200.00 purchase when we bought it. Purchased a Frigidaire Gallery Side By Side, 26 inch Refrigerator from Electrolux on May 2. I was provided a delivery date (to be confirmed) of May 7. Electrolux gave me the delivery team (Concierge) number and said they no longer had any responsibility after the sale. Electrolux provided the delivery (Conceirge) phone number. I constantly called Electrolux (Brandi, Tanisha, Jenny, Chiquita (Supervisor). Tarnisha mentioned that I could request an inconvenience allowance, by submitting a request. I asked Tanisha to submit the request on May 8. I called everyday up until May 7th. I could never get a confirmation. Why did I have to chase the delivery date. I called again on May 7 and the delivery team said the refrigerator just arrived at the warehouse (wherever that was). I asked for a delivery date, since I was scheduled to leave town on the 8th. Concierge Delivery team said delivery would be on the 8th. Provided a window, when they did not arrive within the 4 hr window, I called for an update. The Delivery team (Abhir) stated that they were on their way and would call when they were 30 minutes out. No call, but they finally showed up. I called to ask about my inconvenience allowance, since I had to delay my trip and keep my food on ice for an additional day. I was THEN told that I had to wait 10 days for the request to be processed. I marked my calendar an called back 10 days later, only to find out that the request had been denied days earlier...no communication with me, whatsoever. We asked to speak to the Electrolux manager. We were put on hold, I guess they tried to exhaust us on the wait time. Finally the rep, came back and said the manager, Chiquita would call us back. Chiquita did finally call us back and after we would not back down, she offered us $30 dollars. The frustration they caused should have at least amounted to $100. Either way, I'm on social media to share my experiences and it appears, that I am not alone in assessing that Electrolux and their Delivery Team (Concierge) have a long way to go in terms of delivering any type of Customer Service. read more

The refrigerator has been not working for a month. 7 service calls resulted in the following: 2 no shows, 3 technicians, same parts replaced. We basically ordered all parts to be replaced. Of course, when the parts were delivered, the service call was postponed another week. Their customer service is offshore and basically worthless if you want to speak to someone. Absolutely horrible customer service. Absolutely horrible technicians that they contract with. They have a scam going with Frigidaire Electrodux. They made us pay $369.00 up front to service our refrigerator, and claimed that the fee "guarantees" repair and parts. The technician came out, took a picture of the front of the refrigerator and claimed he could not "inspect the refrigerator because it was not properly disinfected" and then claimed that "he could not stay" after being there five mintues. When I inquired about a new appointment, he said "oh, another tech may be available in about a week and a half." My appliance was not inspected at all. So when I called in to complain and to request a refund, I was told "well, we have to review your file to determine whether we will give you a partial refund because the technician did come out and they were paid a travel fee." So basically, they are contracting with local techs who are basically getting paid to travel, and they don't have to do anything else. Its the biggest SCAM. They have had 4,100 complaints in the last 2-3 years. DO NOT BOTHER TO CALL THEM. GET A LOCAL RECOMMENDED REPAIR GUY TO REPAIR YOUR APPLIANCE. Their customer service has been absolutely horrible. i bought a brand new refrigerator from them 6/2024. it broke in 12/2024. it took them 2 weeks to come out to inspect and they sent a technician that was not qualified (per their own report) to work on that type of fridge. it took them another week to acknowledge that and assign to another provider to inspect. however that appointment was 2 weeks away (2/10/25), so i called and asked if it could be any sooner. i got a text notification that they cancelled that appointment. i'm thinking that they'll move it up. Nope. they re-assigned to the first company that is not qualified to look at it or fix it. I call back (6th time I've had to call) and they then re-assigned to the other technician, but because a day had passed, now instead of 2/10, they can't come out until 2/14/25 (so even LATER than originally scheduled). no option to speak with supervisor. not even an option to email a supervisor. if i have an issue, i have to MAIL them a letter of my concerns. i'm sure they'll pay good attention to that. so now I want to warn everyone on every platform I can find to stay away from Frigidaire and Electrolux (same company). it's been a nightmare to deal with them and we're going on 6 weeks without a working fridge. read more

I purchased a new Washtower and immediately the washing machine Start switch is not working. They sent out a repair person who said this is a programming issue and someone would come back the next week for programming. They set the appointment but nobody showed up, they rescheduled for today Dec 6th and again nobody showed up. They now say it's part that has not come in so the system canceled the appointment but it does not notify the customer of the cancelation. In the meantime their automated system confirmed the appointment the night before. They will not let you speak to anyone to give feedback. Their operations department is in need of training and who is going to pay me for the 2 half days I took off work? I cannot recommend Electrolux products based on their customer service. read more

Re: Purchased an extended warranty on a Frigidaire dehumidifier, knowing from experience that they only last for a couple of years at best. The one year manufacturers warranty almost always expires before they fail. The five year warranty I purchased actually only buys 4 additional years. Sure enough, about 2 and half years into the life of the unit, it failed, well within the extended warranty duration. As of this date, I've been three months in conversation with the warranty provider to get them to honor the warranty. Repeated contacts have assured me that the claim is being processed and ought to be addressed in 5-10 business days. Their Electrolux Branded Service is a RIP OFF! I was told I would be charged $103 up front for the service call, and there *might* be an additional labor charge if it was a complex repair. The guy was here for TWENTY MINUTES, diagnosed the problem, did not have the part needed (a temperature sensor, seems like a pretty basic part for an oven service call), and is having the part shipped to us to self install. Labor charge is $172.99 for this!! I called and the charge was described as a service call fee. I asked about this when I booked and was told it's just the $103 plus additional labor charge for complex calls. I don't consider 20 minutes and not fixing anything to be a complex call. First I'll review the refrigerator model FGHB2868TF6 itself. To be perfectly transparent, what we wanted was a fridge with a dual ice maker which produced ice at a reasonable speed. Maybe our expectations were too high because so far this has been a very disappointing purchase. We have a pool home near the beach in South Florida so we use a lot of ice. The fact that this produces at a snail's pace is almost pointless now. Our 10 year old side by side fridge produced more ice with less equipment. I attached a picture of how much ice has been generated in 36 hours after installation. That's 1" of ice. Oh, and the water dispenser water isn't cold either. We're well aware some people don't care about the ice production like we do. And with that said, this is beautiful fridge otherwise. So far it's worked and temperatures have been good. We like the storage and love the interior lights. The water dispenser on the door is somewhat slow but tolerable. Now for the plot twist. We physically looked at our exact model (FGHB2868TF6) in the St Petersburg, FL Best Buy near Tyrone Blvd and the floor model had DUAL ICE MAKERS. So we left the store because we don't impulse purchase on large items like this. We looked at the same exact model on the Best Buy website and even the advertised pictures had, you guessed it, DUAL ICE MAKERS. This means the fridge door makes and dispenses ice and the bottom freezer portion has an additional ice maker with a big bucket. We compared it to other refrigerators and decided to purchase this model on bestbuy.com. Fast forward to delivery and the fridge showed up WITHOUT A DUAL ICE MAKER. We promptly called Best Buy customer service and they fought with us on it saying they don't even carry/sell/advertise the model that comes stocked with the dual ice maker. After arguing a bit they only offered to pick up the fridge at no cost but we had already sold our older fridge. They said we would have to call Frigidaire to file a complaint. So we called Frigidaire and they promptly said that it is Best Buy's issue because Best Buy has already purchased the fridge meaning Best Buy is basically the broker. So we called Best Buy back and re-explained everything pointing out that their website AND floor model showcased a dual ice maker. Their response was that they could install the ice maker for the cost of the ice maker and the cost of installation. I explained I would go to the BBB for false advertisement if they didn't I stall free of charge. Finally, after 45 minutes on the phone, they agreed to provide and install the second ice maker in the freezer portion. We schedule an installation date which happened to be the same day the piece was supposed to be delivered to us. (They said we could go pick up the ice maker at the warehouse an hour and a half away...) On delivery date their geek squad tech showed up and couldn't do anything because the ice maker wasn't here so he had to reschedule the installation for another day a week later. We get the ice maker and the tech showed up on time only to find out the ice maker is BROKEN and is unrepairable... I'm about to blow a gasket at this point. So, they scheduled a date for the ice maker to be replaced which was TEN DAYS LATER (yesterday morning at 930) and reschedule the installation. Two men showed up with the replacement and installed the piece in 10 minutes flat. THIS FRIDGE WAS DELIVERED IN MID DECEMBER and it took nearly two months and countless headaches for them to make right on bad business. Mind you, the warehouse was an hour and a half away. Also, the tech had no idea what the initial service order was for. Complete and total breakdown all around. I would like to say that the techs were all professional and it wasn't their fault at all. On the flip side, customer service tried to strong arm us and have offered a gift card for their unprofessionalism and we've yet to get a follow up call asking how everything went. Wouldn't you want your customers to be happy??? I wouldn't recommend this fridge if you cherish ice and I wouldn't purchase anything online from Best Buy. I thought Frigidaire would have manned-up a little bit because this reflects negatively on them as well. The final reason for the poor review is that Frigidaire tries to pressure you into reviewing the fridge within two weeks after purchase by enticing you with "the chance to win $1,000" for leaving the review. Well, I waited because I don't think you can accurately review something within two weeks. They just want the people who are still excited about their "new toy" to leave 5 star reviews before something messes up on the fridge itself. Overall horrendous experience and performance. We purchased a brand new home in a Lennar development seven years ago. The home was equipped with refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, washer, and dryer all by Frigidaire. Attached are photos of the demo (after damage) that a seven year old Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher caused in my home due to a gushing water leak. In the seven years we've lived here, we've had to replace the refrigerator because the back rusted and the ice maker froze up and quit working after Electrolux's technician worked on the back, the washer because of a leak, and the dryer because it quit drying--within days of the washer starting to leak! And now I'm having to replace the dishwasher for obvious reasons. This is not to mention that about twenty years ago at my former home, I bought a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator that the compressor went out on after about five years. First company they sent out didn't even know how to size and properly wear their pants (PLUMBERS CRACK) Cunningham appliance in Columbia is terrible 10 minutes in our house and they order new door seals and say in 5 days the parts will be in. After we call back a few times we finally get word the parts are in 3 weeks later. We tell them don't even worry about calling us to set up the appointments we are here all week just bring it. Nothing until they call us after the parts are in leaving them a message does no good apparently. Phone tag costs us 3 days. The attempted door seal replacement takes them all of 10 minutes to finish and does nothing to fix the problem. We ask for a different company to come out. They are an individually owned company and does a good job seemingly adjusting floor and door to ensure it is square and properly sealed. Tells us we have to wait a few days to ensure it is fixed. So we have waited and it is still broken. After looking it up myself it is most likely an air flow issue or a lack of coolant for the compressor to properly circulate. The door adjustments and seal replacements may have been necessary but checking the coolant levels would also be a necessity. It is amazing that I call the company that made it and expect them to fix it as the warranty calls for instead they send out half trained unprofessionally dressed repairmen the first time. An unthourough but professional repairman the second time and now on my third call it should have been fixed 2 whole months ago. But instead i have to go through the trouble of learning to do basic diagnostic repair on the fridge myself and we have lost hundreds in frozen vegetables, fruits, milk, and various meats that are ruined from freezing or not cooled enough and start a science experiment situation. Diagnosing and repairing equipment is a bit like a doctor's appointment you have to know the symptoms how long and when they started and combine that with user input to gauge where the problem likely is. The fact this was not done on the phone when asking for warranty service says alot 1. That frigidaire does not care what is broke and 2. How long it has been a problem for you. 3. Nor do they care to properly communicate to their contractors what statistically would be wrong based off of feedback that someone properly repaired a similar product along similar timelines of life and use. read more
