I got a considerably large cover up on the inside of my forearm from elbow crease to wrist. Chris was my artist and he did a killer job from the consultation to the execution. The shop was clean, good music playing, and all of the other employees were great. Overall it was an excellent experience. About a year ago, my husband asked for a consultation with Rudy. My husband took off work early to meet with Rudy. When he arrived at his 4pm appointment, he was told Rudy was in Phoenix. No phone call from Rudy. I found this to be rude and inconvenient, and inconsiderate. But we let it go and went elsewhere. A few weeks ago, I went in to give it a try with Chris. I asked him for a touch-up, and a small piece. He asked me to send him some references to the piece I wanted. Which I did. He never bothered to respond back to me. Over charged and the artist didn't have anything ready when I got there. Pulled up some Google image and thought that would do. I second the unprofessionalism everyone else has mentioned. I didn't find it to be particularly clean, kind of grimey. Filled with things that don't get wiped down regularly. Poor attitudes from the employees. This place is just not it. With shops popping up everyday there is no reason to go to a place just because they've eeked by for a few years. Find some true talent somewhere else. read more

Such a kind, clean, and welcoming studio. When I first went in I knew nothing more than the basics about piercings but the staff were very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I got my lobes redone and it was so quick and pain-free! I came back two weeks later to change jewelry from a cartilage piercing I got done poorly somewhere else and I got it changed to a flat back and now I'm healing much better. I've found a new home at this studio and I don't want to go anywhere else. Highly recommend for all your needle needs! P.S.: Delanee is the best! I have had over 30 piercings in my life and have been worked on by some of the best like Chris Jennell (traveling piercer), Noah Babcock (Evolution Body Piercing- ABQ, NM), Jessica (Black Hole Piercing- NV, Reno), and Nicola Sands (HTC Body Piercing- AZ, Phoenix). I am dropping their names and shops so people can avoid the unfortunate experience I had with Electrik Needle and make the right choice for their bodies with the right artist. It is so important to make sure you are going to a professional and experienced artist who is qualified and knowledgeable. Now... back to my experience... I was recently pierced by my piercer a few months ago. The piercing fell out on 05/31/2019; the same day I went into Electrik Needle for their assistance. I went into this shop thinking it would be easy enough for anyone (even the most inexperienced piercer/shop) to put the jewelry back into the already existing hole instead of traveling the hour and half to HTC in Phoenix, AZ. However, I was sadly mistaken and very wrong... the piercer (Amber Stoneburner) took me back (after sterilizing my jewelry) and had me sit on her bench. She began trying to put my jewelry in my nostril hole and was struggling. She asked me to lay down as it might be easier for her and I agreed. While I was laying down she continued to struggle and could not put the jewelry in my nostril hole. She told me she would have to "stretch my hole" due to the swelling of my nostril and that it might be uncomfortable. I have been stretched, scalped and tattooed, by the artists listed above, and have certainly experienced more pain... I didn't think anything of it and it sounded perfectly reasonable/normal to me. She graded what I thought was a tapper and started to "stretch my hole". It was very painful, very unexpected, and my eyes were quickly filled with tears. There was a sharp pain that felt unnatural for stretching, but I didn't think much about or question, as I figured she was maybe inexperienced, getting nervous, or is just heavy handed. She then continued to struggled, as she tried to screw on the top, but after a few moments and multiple attempts(while I sat their in pain) she was finally able to get it screwed on. After all the struggle it was finally back in... she was nice enough, I thanked her for her work, paid her and left. I did not look in the mirror before I left (which was my second mistake [the first mistake was coming to this shop instead of my preferred/normal shops listed above]). I got into my car, looked into the mirror, and noticed it was a bit off/crooked and the jewelry was not laying flat on my nostril like it originally did. I then looked inside of my nostril and noticed the angle was off and I could see my original hole inside my nose... and then it hit me and realized what she had done... she did not put the jewelry into my original hole, but pierced my nose again without my CONSENT, KNOWLEDGE, or PERMISSION. I did not sign anything, show my ID, or request to be re-pierced by her; and as I sat in my car looking at my my nose, I instantly became emotional, traumatized, and felt violated. I was infuriated by the unnecessary pain and experience I was given- that I did not ask for or mentally prepare for. I felt this whole thing was extreme unprofessional and inappropriate... and I felt what the piercer did to my body, without my consent or knowledge, is criminal. I drove to my home and instantly began crying and having a very emotional response. I didn't want to go back to work because of my emotional state and how upset I had become. I felt so violated and disrespected... I almost couldn't believe what had just happened to me... After a few moments I was able to calm myself and called Electric Needle to speak with the shop's owner. The piercer picked up the phone and informed me he was in the middle of tattooing someone. She ask if she could help me and I informed her of what happened, what she did, and how I was feeling. She then completely dismissed what I was saying and denied re-piercing my nose... I left my number and requested the shop owner to call me back. So basically... she either is lying and did not want to admit she re-pierced my nose without consent or she is that unprofessional, uneducated, and inexperienced that she didn't even realize what she had done to my body... either way both options/scenarios are completely INAPPROPRIATE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and INEXCUSABLE. After my now second experience with Amber helping me with my nostril piercings I can definitely say I won't be going to anyone else! She is super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and VERY professional! I felt so comfortable both times she changed my jewelry & re pierced my second nostril hole (due to a previous piercer not closing my jewelry all the way & my nostril healing in between the space in the jewlerly) but Amber made the experience virtually painless ;) haha but really, she was awesome! Here's an update: my piercings are healing fine, I would like to point out though that the piercing themselves are not completely horizontal. In fact, they are tilted downward a noticable amount. I'm not willing enough to repierce, but just a heads up to those who want to get nipple piercings here. Both are unfortunately tilted so this seems like a consistent thing. read more

This is one of the worst ran businesses I have ever been too. I have been getting tattooed for over 20 years, and never in my life have I ran into a situation like this. The tattoo was terrible, like lines not connected, coloring unfinished, scabbed up so horrible that it took all the color out of that area and now I have several scars. When I contacted them, they said it was their machines fault. Uhhh ok. Seriously they blamed it on the machines. Then they continued to laugh at my problem, unwilling to fix, and never called back when I asked to speak with the owner. Called several times with no response. Truthfully wish I could take this Fing nightmare back. But o well you live and you learn and I would never ever recommend this place and their unprofessionalism. I have contacted the BBB and letting them see the tattoo that was done and how this is not what I paid for. And I get it people have $hitty days and Are not perfect. But to not own up to the crappy tattoo, then laugh at the customer? Seems like great business read more

There is no option for zero stars! Tattoos are ok. But came for Friday the 13th. I have been probably 4 times before. Same options! Every time we wait patiently as I did this time. 2 hours... still being patient. 3 hours in... I noticed people going before us and I was getting agitated. 3 1/2 hours in...I went and asked and was told there were 12 people ahead of me. 30 minutes later I saw this group walk out and I asked how long they had been here. They said an hour. At this point we had been here 4 hours!!!!!! So I complain and get seen next. When the tattoo artist is putting the stencils on me he starts putting something that isn't my tattoo! I had to stop him! And then because the stencil cut off the dinosaurs legs he was going to leave it that way.. I literally had to draw it for him to tattoo. NO IMAGINATION!! But then the tattoo artist tells me that usually they will pull their friends or better customers first! It is first come, first serve! And yet I am not considered a good enough customer because why?! I don't come and hang out in their shop??! I work in the medical field and if I don't do MY JOB RIGHT... PEOPLE DIE!! It took 10 minutes for my tattoos! You are making apprx 480 dollars an hour doing this! I get paid as much as an IN and OUT employee! If I have to do my job correctly so should you!! If you go to a restaurant and everyone gets served hours before you then you would complian and you get it for free. AND IF YOU ARE SITTING IN MY DOCTOR'S OFFICE AND EVERYONE GOES BEFORE YOU I BET YOU WOULD COMPLAIN TOO!! Yet they just made it fine that it just got mixed up or I wasn't important enough! I work hard for the money that I have spent at your establishment! I won't be doing that again!.... oh! I took the day off of work for this!! Went in to grab a tattoo on my hand and got lectured for 45 minuets on why it's not a smart life choice. Keep in mind this is coming from a dude that has 3 inch gauges in his ears, sleeved from head to toe and the other guy wasn't even sure how much longer he was gonna be a tattoo artist. Rude and not the place to go for awareness ribbons (cancer). I went in wanting to get an awareness ribbon with find a cure around it on my forearm and I was told it was a logo, not real art, and that the forearm was for real art. They also said any words would take away from real art (which is funny because they had just told me a cancer ribbon wasn't real art). They were so rude and condescending and judged my boyfriend and I as soon as we walked in. They were watching videos on Facebook which is fine when there aren't customers but when someone walks in kinda unprofessional. I was covered up in pants and a hoodie but I have 5 tattoos already, including a big hip piece and my whole rib cage. So I'm not scared of art or ink, I have plenty of it. I also understand working with artists and listening to suggestions but being told my idea is crap is not okay. I just can't believe how they treated the idea of an awareness ribbon- really offensive. read more

My poor mom was recommended to go to this shop by a friend to see Donny Fleming she wanted just a simple tat with my daughters name An her other granddaughters name An he wanted to charge her 350$ me not knowing the cost I would have told her that was way to much for names. I paid that for my entire forearm in Cali ....But regardless she gave him a $60 deposit ...it took over a month to get an appointment with him. She called An texted him half the time no reply. Today I seen the text he sent her in response to her asking about her appointment, the way he spoke to her over text was not cool. As a business owner myself I can't afford to speak to my clients like that. I understand that industry well as me An my husband are covered in tattoos.... she had an appointment today at one An when she got there he wasn't there!!! She sat for a good hour waiting she texted the other people at the shop called him An texted no answer. The minute she left he texted her saying he was next door An thought the appointment was at 2!!! You are that busy if an artist it takes a month to get in but you don't even know your own schedule?!!!!! I told her to ask for her deposit back An when she went back he wouldn't even look at her An acted like he was on the phone. Must be nice that you make that much money that you can turn down a 350$ 1 1/2 hour of your time tattoo. An treat customers as they are disposable..... just sad that what he thought maybe a same job could have turned into Atleast 3 more clients considering me An my husband would like to find a good artist here.
