If you're someone who wants not just excellent + modern care, but to be able to be involved in your pet's care and understand the details, rather than just being a bystander, Eldale is the place. When I first started looking for a vet, I did extensive research. I'm a data-driven person, so I reached out to the top 10 Google-ranked clinics within a 40-minute radius of Kitchener-Waterloo with a list of questions. Eldale was the clear leader in almost every area. They answered every question they could, and when something needed a more technical answer, they didn't hesitate to have the right person call me back. No guessing, no refusing - just honest, straightforward answers. I really respect their willingness to say, "I don't know," instead of pretending, and then promptly figuring out an answer and making sure I was informed. Apparently they were good at one time but no longer. These vets are not interested in animal welfare and only the almighty dollar. Trust me I experienced that today and I don't care how much I have to pay to get my dog looked after anywhere. I said no then they said topical and I said no because the topical was $75 more than the medic medication they told me I had to bring in the five pills in order to get a refund after a long hold experienced while the receptionist talked to whoever. When I went in to give the five pills, they only gave me refund on the five pills and would not give the refund for the pill that was administered to the dog that made it violently ill. No one cared about my dog no vet or no person from that company has contacted me or cared to discuss it. All they wanted was the pills back which obviously are going to be put back out there to be sold and administered to other dogs. These pills should be destroyed . expensive but I don't mind paying for my dog. This is horrible, and this is despicable, and I brought it to their attention. but they don't care.
