See I love coffee a great deal. I appreciate the fact that my coffee was served in a homey looking ceramic mug. The whole place has a homey vibe going. Seating is limited but they do their best to accommodate groups. There's a local Street artist that paints dogs and cats freehand and he's responsible for a lot of the artwork in here. The artist is pretty damn amazing and he charges almost nothing for his work. This place also hands you a napkin and colored markers to draw your own piece of art and they'll even let you tape it up on their walls. Very cool coffee and tea spot. Like others stated. The place is beach side and has a good view of the beach in some of the booths. My family ordered a large variety of different types of empanadas. I ordered the salmon ahumado empanada and the jamon empanada. The ham empanada was definitely delicious, the empanada was freshly fried, the dough was clearly homemade, and the empanada came with a good amount of ham inside. The salmon ahumado empanada was even better, the smoked salmon was absolutely amazing. The smokey flavor of the salmon mixed so well with the cheese, tomatoes, oregano, and the homemade flaky dough. My family enjoyed our food so much that we actually came back before our vacation was over just to grab more delicious empanadas. Overall, this is a great place to grab some authentic empanadas while you kick it beach side. This restaurant admittingly is not the cleanest of places but try an empanada and you will not be dissappointed. The service at this place could be a little better but they try. Regardless I really liked the place and would definitely come back some day.

Unlike most museum cafes, PuroCafé wasn't overpriced, and it's a warm and colorful place to slip into another time period making it very fitting with the museum. PuroCafe has been in Valparaiso for about 9 years serving some of the best coffee in the region. This is their second location - a "heritage café" since the building is part of Valparaiso's history.
