The desserts all looked good, but I had the puffed pastry with ice cream and hot chocolate. Very decadent. As a finale, they bring you a small piece of spiced cake and a local dessert wine. Delicious. Today, I tried the queso fresco with anchovy for my app and had the grilled calamari as my second. It was really good. Tasty and tender. Cal Morell is a little charming & authentic restaurant in Orba. We clearly recognize the Spanish touch and style in the decoration and interior layout. The restaurant is open in the evening (quite late for such a small town I must say - we arrived at 9.30PM) and offers the possibility to choose between two menus that vary weekly; one at 15€ and the other at 18€. The 2 types offer a starter, main course, dessert and a drink (wine included). Price/quality ratio is very good! In addition to the salad that we took as starter, we also got also tapenades and Iberian ham with delicious toasts. Personally, I found it quite good but a little bit too fat and the brownie had more a taste of gingerbread cake... A good 3.5/5 to conclude!

Of these, Pepe's is our favourite. He, himself, is always friendls and welcoming as is his very professional staff. The food is excellent and never varies in quality, so that you can always be sure that if you take anyone there for the first time, they are going to enjoy both the food and the experience.
