I am currently attending LaGuardia Community College as a Biology Major and for my experience it is…read morean awesome kollege. My only hope is that this schools 'reputation' is not ruined by students who cannot perform well enough because the information I receive is especially essential to academics. The science department is great, though I lack the fortitude to compare other science departments of other colleges because of the lack of experience but I accept the challenges of my degree pathway curriculum, that is near the best aspect! Professors know plenty so they can be itchy if they want, but by witness they are fair and have life experience that justifies their standard; "hey recognize I have graduated from a University, or I have obtained a Doctorate, Masters, traveled and/or being involved in government, recognize and know you also can achieve and accomplish and we only want to maintain the integrity because true competition is out there, for sakes, we lived it!". Humility is best, and this school is not discriminative, they are not far liberal either but in respect they are obviously open and diverse, this is a COMMUNITY College. Yass. Go Queens, Go L.I. but you must apply yourself. Speaking for the Sciences you should be able to proceed with other schools and perform with their best. I must attend tutoring but this is due to a very congested daily schedule I handle and I absolutely enjoy it all, even to be challenged which is the best part. Maybe this is a Queens thing, maybe it is a science thing but overall their is no bias but incorrect is incorrect and correct is correct. I have worries that sure external from LaGCC people will not respect because they do not know but I am confident I am knowledgeable to meet other requirements of academic efficiency. Even if I do not pass and I fail, I did not learn nothing, I simply will attempt again, and continue. Apologies towards those whom have faced discrimination and corruption but personally all is well for I. Bright-eyed and bushytailed, I expect to update in about 5-6 months but yeah so far, so fair. LaGuardia science circuit is awesome and inspires my decision in Biology. I am not concerned about the (bulk) food distribution, or.. yeah, but yes =]. People in the community diss LaGuardia Community College and I am dumbfounded on most occasions but possibly I lack experience. 12weeks is a college standard semester and they just want you to be well on. Also yall (students), stop wrecking them restroom stalls (just itching and it may not be all that bad or some of youz be in a 'serious situation' blowing it up but hmph it really all that bad), but some yall be with the sabotage. hah. I sought out this company on advice from a friend. Although at first intimidated by the hourly…read moreprices, Andrew let me know the other tutor, Luciano, had a lower hourly rate. Andrew is based in New York and Luciano is based in Canada, but working with Luciano online is very easy. Luciano is really organized and knows his stuff. He also has tips and test strategies for you, aside from just content. I had taken Manhattan GMAT in person classes before, and although they were a helpful grounding, it's aimed to the masses, which means they teach you to get a good score, but not great. Getting to a great, competitive score, is what a tutor can help you with. But you still need to do the work! Consistent daily studying, and carving out QUALITY studying, is crucial. I had just about one month to kick up my test score, by at least 40 points. My score had stalled in the mid-600's and I didn't know what else to do. I also wasn't really holding myself accountable to myself, in terms of consistent quality studying, and having a tutor was really helpful in forcing me to stay accountable to another person. Plus, I was willing to take the plunge (and the cost) to improve my score. Both Luciano and Andrew are really busy so finding a tutoring time slot is tough! Definitely give yourself enough time to work with the tutor; don't be like me and give yourself only a month. Honestly, 2-3 months of real devoted weekly sessions will do wonders for your score. Would definitely recommend!! 5/5

When I reached back out, I got limited responses. I've worked with a few tutors, and this is by far the worst. Save your money and look for a service that will genuinely look out for you.
