On one hand, I do like their cantina area back in liquor region. The other store by Main USPS is even better. So my cause for concern here was CS. They keep relations with a shite water vendor who failed to maintain machine out front. The result of this is allergic reaction, investigation, determination of source, attempt at remedy.
To review, "Jose" in CS (a booth inside entrance for customer service reporting) called vendor while declaring their partnership was not an in-store responsibility. Fair. But then he articulated that several gallons purchased reeking of chlorine prior week was not refundable. He named the individual he claimed to speak with and gave me a number.
But when I called their vendor, "Agua Pura," they don't answer. I note with keen interest that Jose declined to sniff the water purchased just prior to our encounter. He's "allergic" he said and I can clarify the stuff coming out of their machine at half dollar a gallon is like drinking exhaust from the self-cleaning cycle on one's SMART dishwasher at home.
So this Review is aimed not at El Pueblo generally but more particularly at one store's management insofar as it tolerates this kind of shenanigan on its site. It treated me as a suspect in a claim of bad water ("Well how do you know," countered Jose on behalf of Carlos Medina, "Chlorine is invisible, right?").
It falsely directed me toward an automated phone line managed by Agua Pura. But any reasonable person who calls , waits 24 hours, sees firsthand its CS is the source of Pueblo's front.
So if you're looking for pure water, Aguadilla has only fakers. My gal at FreshMart defers to Isabela (SWM), I ran off SAMs in Mayaguez (same vendor but machine's maintained) and that's just plain consumer fraud for locals here.
It's high time a local vendor stepped up by gawd. read more
