Food was good, chicken was the best part of our meal, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]very bad experience with the restaurant itself involving our child and their high chairs here, please replace them or get rid of them our baby could have gotten seriously injured and the staff didn't seem to care.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We love it here. Food quality is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend them. It's very clean also inside if one wants to dine in.

My son wanted to stop by and try the chicken at El Pollo Norteño before going to the barber. I love grilled mesquite chicken so I was excited to try it out as well. The chicken was ok, it could use more mesquite and salt and I feel the chicken pieces are small. We got a four piece combo with a drink and I don't think it was worth $16. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The customer service was great and there's plenty of tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not sure if we will be returning, but at least we finally tried it out.

First time here. As soon as you walk in you can smell the mesquite! They have bags of it piled up along the wall. It is clean and fresh inside. Don't let the outside fool you. This is an order at the counter type restaurant. You pick it up. The staff is polite and efficient. The atmosphere is comfy and pleasant. If you like chicken and you like mesquite, this is the place to go!!! Thank you for a great meal at a good price!

I had to eat it, not wasting $13.

Chicken burrito no beans and rice. Meat was dry. Tastes like days old. Salsa was awful. $13 for a burrito smaller than my water bottle. Ok so if they aren't cooking chicken daily or infront of you, can't be called pollo. Definitely not Juan or crazy chicken.

    3 piece meal.

I saw their add on the free way and I was hungry. I pulled over and said what the heck. Honestly pretty damn good food. I went before they were going to close the guy who helped me out was so welcoming. You can tell he cared about the customers. It's outside where I live by like 40 minutes but would definitely stop by again

Terrible tasting potato salad and charro beans

Well I ate some of it, because it was expensive delivered, but the food is absolutely terrible. Ive never eaten at an El Pollo Notero so I cannot compare, but the food at the Corona location is not fresh. The carnitas tasted old and as if they were not washed before it was cooked. The potato salad was sweet and the potatoes tasted old and rubbery. The charro beans tasted like watered down can chili beans. This was ordered through Uber eats and came out around $30. I definitely do not recommend you eat at this place.

8 piece family special with rice and beans.

Our server was incredibly friendly and spoke to us like we'd been friends for years. She was so cool. It included peach, pineapple, strawberry, cranberry, orange, pomegranate, and I think mango (can't remember the last one, sorry!). I love that the glasses were actually filled. I watched them make them, and it's a majority of champagne with just a splash of juice. Chilaquiles: This has become my absolute favorite breakfast dish lately, so I try it everywhere. Highly recommend! Steak & Eggs: My friend ordered a dish that had a different name on the menu, but it was essentially steak and eggs. She said it was absolutely delicious. The bathroom was clean, and I noticed they have a changing table available as well, which is always a great plus. Overall, I had a really good time eating, drinking, and talking here. I ordered in advance and went to pick up my food, but since I was starving, I ended up just eating there on their patio. The tacos were okay. Personally, I thought they were pretty mid and not as flavorful as I was hoping they'd be. They did have a spicy sauce that I dipped the tacos in, and that definitely helped the flavor. I personally didn't love the tacos, but to be fair, I also didn't try anything else on the menu so I can't speak for the rest of their food. The place itself is a decent size, and the patio area is actually pretty nice. The staff was very kind, my order was ready right on time, and I appreciated that they weren't stingy with the sauces. Overall not a bad spot, but the quesabirria tacos just didn't fully hit for me. Oh well *shrug*

The chips are fresh, super thin and crisp, lightly salted. The salsa one of my favorites. I don't know why others cannot make them the same. I can see a plate of impeccable nachos in my future here. Camarones, Mojo de Ajo style, no head, no shell. The shrimp were nice sized, but obviously overcooked. Mr B said that a couple even tasted old as well. Too bad. On the other hand, the sides, beans and rice, were sensational. Done beautifully, with very rich flavors, I would come here just for those two items. My garlic shrimp burrito was filled with smaller sized shrimp than his, their awesome rice, some fresh salsa, and a pink dressing (?). The shrimp tasted fine, not overcooked, but not overly garlicky. And usually I dislike rice in my burritos, but this combination was an exception, a real winner. I recall having an amazing carnitas here on past visits that I really must revisit. Hmmm. This is beginning to sound like a carnitas nacho plate would be the right thing to do. The interior is very attractive with their colorful and vibrant murals. Great World Cup soccer playing on their TV. The server was absolutely attentive. A good little place worth s return visit.

Check my picture for the information. I ended up getting the 3 taco plate (2 asada and 1 carnitas) and the XL meat quesadilla with asada. The carnitas was really tender and delicious. The asada was good, but it was not my favorite. I have a thing with chewy fatty pieces and I understand it is common in lower quality cuts of flap meat. This asada had quite a few pieces I had to spit out because it was just too chewy. The refried beans were good, also not my favorite though. The quesadilla was good, I liked the grilled cheese cooked prior to folding it into the tortilla with the meat. Nice touch. That grilled cheese makes a huge difference. The next 3 taco plate had pastor, asada, and shrimp (except they actually gave me fish instead). At least my girlfriend enjoyed the fish taco as well. The tacos were loaded with meat and hard to pick up. That's the best! The pastor was tender and juicy. The fish taco was freshly fried and loaded with toppings and sauce. After paying, I asked for salsa and onions/cilantro cups so I could grab it from the salsa bar before leaving, but the lady turned around and grabbed me prepackaged salsa of each kind, bagged onion and cilantro, and limes. Super nice! Salsa were all really good! Especially the green avocado salsa. I'll come back for carnitas when I'm in the mood for tacos/quesadillas. I'll probably avoid the asada though. Just not my favorite.

It is always so loud so they can barely hear most customers ordering . You order a few items at a time and they make them as you order them. It takes a while. You are then forwarded over to the cashier while you are waiting for others to checkout and order their drinks. You then order your drinks and salsas along with condiments all while your food is getting cold. With only two-three customers/parties ahead of me, I usually average about 45 minutes just to get my food and pay for it. The food. Make no mistake, they make really good food. Love their al pastor, delicious tortas and burritos. Great salsas. Delicious aguas. Good menudo but you have to check to make sure they put the grano in even when you ask for it because they have forgotten on a number of occasion. This place would be so much better if you could just order your food with a cashier and then just call you when it is ready. It would be so much more efficient just like every other normal place. Cooks are usually nice here, cashiers are usually a little frumpy. Plenty of room for parking and sitting. It is a good size inside. In the summer it is very hot inside and the ac units cannot keep up. If you try to be smart and order online, most of the time they will not start making your food till you get there.
