Wait Staff: I wish I took the name of our waitress because she was awesome, funny and knowledgeable about the menu. All waiters/waitresses were great. Drinks: Unfortunately I didn't get any drinks because we kept seeing the brightly colored drinks and flights being served around us and I was jealous, they all looked awesome. Food: This is where it gets good because the food was A+++mazing. We started off with just the salsa, chips and for a nice surprise, some warm beans. The salsa brought a tear to my eye because it was soooo good. Luckily, my son doesn't eat salsa so I drank it all down. The chips were perfectly fresh and crispy. Guac: So, our waitress brought us some off the menu guac, and, WTF, why are they hiding this recipe from the rest of the world. I literally got into a fist fight with my son because he was trying to take it from me (not really) but I didn't want to share. The presentation was so cute too. Plantains + chips + guac = heavan Fajitas: I ordered fajitas and all boxes were checked, quantity, quality, and taste. I ordered the chicken and it was juicy and thick and perfectly seasoned. Steak tacos: My kid ordered the steak tacos and we brokered a deal to trade some steak for chicken and this was the best deal made since the New Deal (American history). Steak was chunky and juicy and fresh! The only problem with this place is that it is very far from my house as I was in the 'hood for my kids basketball tournament. If I am in the area you better believe that I will be back. Oh yeah, and very affordable for the upscale dining.

Could possibly be the fanciest restaurant in Corona, but the kicker is average plate is only around $25 including seafood plates. I had the fish tacos and they were splendid. So fresh and satisfying. Every table gets chips and salsa. We opted for a few appetizers, which is very filling. You have plenty of food in your tummy with possibility of leftovers. At the end of the night. The alcoholic drinks are on par. The only one thing not on par is their flan. They can do better on the condensed milk taste. I would say it tastes more like water, The rest of their desserts are tasty and fresh. Their staff is very attentive. Management helps out too. Enough room for large parties. I would make a reservation, but my party was over 30 people. I would not go on a hot day because the AC isn't the best during a heat wave. Free parking available outdoors but plentiful. The girl working the register Saturday night was rude. She was very impatient while we were ordering our food and had a terrible attitude . We had asked if she had horchata she said she didn't that she was still prepping it, we then told her we could wait and she said she didn't know how long it would take to finish. We told her we could wait while our food was ready and she said if customers came in it wouldn't be ready any time soon. We ordered the agua fresca she had available. 5 minutes later she brings out the horchata. Our food took around 15-20 minutes to be ready. Maybe she had a long day but it doesn't justify the way she treats people. While we were waiting for our food we noticed she picks and chooses who she treats good. Service definitely playing a big role in a business.

Our server was incredibly friendly and spoke to us like we'd been friends for years. She was so cool. We ended up staying for hours just enjoying the vibe of the brunch crowd and the soccer fans. Food & Drinks: LOVED! The Mimosa Flight (~$9 per drink): We shared this between two people and it comes with 8 different flavors! It included peach, pineapple, strawberry, cranberry, orange, pomegranate, and I think mango (can't remember the last one, sorry!). I love that the glasses were actually filled. I watched them make them, and it's a majority of champagne with just a splash of juice. Chilaquiles: This has become my absolute favorite breakfast dish lately, so I try it everywhere. It was very yummy here! It comes with eggs, and I added steak for some extra protein. The presentation was beautiful, too. Highly recommend! Steak & Eggs: My friend ordered a dish that had a different name on the menu, but it was essentially steak and eggs. She said it was absolutely delicious. The bathroom was clean, and I noticed they have a changing table available as well, which is always a great plus. Overall, I had a really good time eating, drinking, and talking here. I will definitely be back!

They took our drink order 20 mins from when we got there. A total chaos and a complete failure on the service of the restaurant especially on my birthday breakfast that was ruined. It's always clean and well taken care of inside as well. Let's get to the food. My favorite here is the Al pastor. Seasoned and marinated to perfection. It's by far some of the best I've had in Cali. Never under or overcooked. It's just right! Asada. Again, marinated to perfection. Perfectly cooked. Never over cooked. The flavor is there. They've got a great salsa bar. Onion & cilantro Red and green salsa ( red is the best here ) Plenty of lemons They've even got grilled onions and jalapeños at the salsa bar. Overall would I recommend this place? Absolutely. The food and staff is great here. Th quality is excellent! Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. At least not with the asada or pastor. I have not tried the other things on the menu.

It was our daughter's last day visiting us, so we decided to have lunch here for the second time. I usually order their carne asada burrito, but I wanted to try something different this time. I ordered the happy hour taco special and went with the fish tacos. I'm glad I did! They were better than I expected, with just the right amount of spice, which I really enjoy, and they weren't overloaded with cabbage. Hats off to the cooks! Everything I've had here has been amazing, and they deserve credit for consistently putting out such delicious food. Our server, Javier, was excellent. He seemed to appear at just the right time, especially when we were ready for a refill. That's the kind of attentive service that makes a dining experience even better. Once again, I'm extremely happy to have Kalaveras so close to home. It's a great place to enjoy a meal without having to worry about making a reservation. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

I ordered in advance and went to pick up my food, but since I was starving, I ended up just eating there on their patio. The tacos were okay. Personally, I thought they were pretty mid and not as flavorful as I was hoping they'd be. They did have a spicy sauce that I dipped the tacos in, and that definitely helped the flavor. I personally didn't love the tacos, but to be fair, I also didn't try anything else on the menu so I can't speak for the rest of their food. The place itself is a decent size, and the patio area is actually pretty nice. The staff was very kind, my order was ready right on time, and I appreciated that they weren't stingy with the sauces. The chips are fresh, super thin and crisp, lightly salted. The salsa one of my favorites. I don't know why others cannot make them the same. I can see a plate of impeccable nachos in my future here. Camarones, Mojo de Ajo style, no head, no shell. The shrimp were nice sized, but obviously overcooked. Mr B said that a couple even tasted old as well. Too bad. On the other hand, the sides, beans and rice, were sensational. Done beautifully, with very rich flavors, I would come here just for those two items. My garlic shrimp burrito was filled with smaller sized shrimp than his, their awesome rice, some fresh salsa, and a pink dressing (?). The shrimp tasted fine, not overcooked, but not overly garlicky. And usually I dislike rice in my burritos, but this combination was an exception, a real winner. I recall having an amazing carnitas here on past visits that I really must revisit. Hmmm. This is beginning to sound like a carnitas nacho plate would be the right thing to do. The interior is very attractive with their colorful and vibrant murals. Great World Cup soccer playing on their TV. The server was absolutely attentive. A good little place worth s return visit.

Check my picture for the information. I ended up getting the 3 taco plate (2 asada and 1 carnitas) and the XL meat quesadilla with asada. The carnitas was really tender and delicious. The asada was good, but it was not my favorite. I have a thing with chewy fatty pieces and I understand it is common in lower quality cuts of flap meat. This asada had quite a few pieces I had to spit out because it was just too chewy. The refried beans were good, also not my favorite though. The quesadilla was good, I liked the grilled cheese cooked prior to folding it into the tortilla with the meat. Nice touch. That grilled cheese makes a huge difference. The next 3 taco plate had pastor, asada, and shrimp (except they actually gave me fish instead). At least my girlfriend enjoyed the fish taco as well. The tacos were loaded with meat and hard to pick up. That's the best! The pastor was tender and juicy. The fish taco was freshly fried and loaded with toppings and sauce. After paying, I asked for salsa and onions/cilantro cups so I could grab it from the salsa bar before leaving, but the lady turned around and grabbed me prepackaged salsa of each kind, bagged onion and cilantro, and limes. Super nice! Salsa were all really good! Especially the green avocado salsa. I'll come back for carnitas when I'm in the mood for tacos/quesadillas. I'll probably avoid the asada though. Just not my favorite.
