I am always happy to eat at Parlamento. My favorite sandwiches are the Almeria and the Transfuga.
The Ribera del Duero wine is good too.
Their claim to fame are the sandwiches, but they also offer a range of tapas, meat and cheese plates and salads. They have soda, beer and wine.
It's a good idea to go a little before or after the rush! They get really really busy and it's a small ( but very efficient) place.
Sitting inside at the bar is a good idea if you are allergic, or sensitive, to cigarette smoke. Otherwise there are several bar height tables and several low tables outside for you to enjoy the plaza. read more
