Seriously...I almost fainted from excitement when I came across this little gem. Potatoes and…read morecheese are two of my favorite foods and here you can have both - mixed together! What's best? (or maybe not for the best?) Is they are located 2 blocks from my house. However, even if they weren't that close, they offer delivery so everyone in the centro can have a taste of the 'real papa'. Although, I recommend coming as I am of the opinion that it tastes better when ordered there. So, I realize I have been talking a lot about what they do but haven't really explained what The Real Papa is all about. The Real Papa is something I had no idea could even exist, it is essentially a gourmet baked potato bar! The process: similar to ordering a burrito at Chipotle, you have your base (a potato) and you can add an array of toppings (and they all include sour cream!) The toppings range from American cheese and caramelized onions to blood sausages and curry (separated out into 'basic' and 'premium' toppings) If baked potatoes aren't your thing, you can get a tortilla wrap filled with the same goodies or if you want to be on the safer side, you can get a soup or salad (but don't be fome and order something with potatoes!) Tip: Do try the basil and ginger lemonade! They cater and do events - this is the perfect type of snack for big celebrations such as company parties, concerts or even bar mitzvahs

Instead, they have only a digital menu that's really paired down and most of the delicious sandwiches are long gone. On our most recent trip, we brought out-of-town visitors and their kiddos, aged 11 and 3. The oldest was not initially a fan of his chocolate shake because it was so dark and bitter, but the adults loved it (and it was sweeter once he mixed it). The youngest had his first submarino and loved it (highly recommend for newbies!). One ordered a hot dog, which was surprisingly good! The bread was very soft and tasty and the slaw was out of this world with a hint of sweetness and poppyseeds. A couple of us had the salads, which were great--the chicken option has quinoa mixed in and the mushroom one is extremely earthy. Unfortunately for us, the only jarra options for lemonade on our visit was plain (read: tart), though we would have preferred ones with berries or with mint + ginger. I'm glad to see PS is back open, but I do hope they bring back some of their classics like the Siete Colores sandwhich and the other with the fried egg.

I got a thick hot chocolate, although they have an option for a thinner one, as well as "submarinos" which is a bar of chocolate in hot milk. The hot chocolate definitely didn't disappoint. Has a nice balanced chocolate flavor that's not too bitter but still has a strong chocolate flavor. I was also hungry so I ordered a sandwich. My expectations weren't super high because it's a little place that specializes in chocolate, but don't let that stop you from trying the food. I got a roast beef sandwich that had caramelized onions, lettuce, pepper mayo and a fried egg. All of the ingredients were top notch and together just made a really good, gourmet sandwich. I'm looking forward to trying other things here. If you're in the area it's definitely worth the trip.

The decoration makes you feel you are somewhere in Marrakech! The service was great, they didn't have seating inside, so they sat us outside for a while and after a table became available they were very kind in moving us in. The food was so savory and cooked on point. I ordered the steak teriyaki and it was a good portion placed on a hot pan which continue to cook my meal why I was eating it! Don't leave this place without having their traditional tea which I'm sure it had some honey touch and it was a great after having such a good meal!

Was here with some colleagues and we had a lot of appetizers and cocktails. I filled up on the cocktails, including some delicious hummus, spring rolls and shrimp and I was so full, I couldn't order an entree so I just had some lamb kebabs. Everything was bold and tasty. The menu features things from various parts of the world whether it's the Middle East, Southeast Asia or Africa. Service was great, too. They brought us out some desserts including something that had mango in it and it was delicious. I was disappointed I had to share that. One standout for me was their cocktail menu. They have a lot of interesting drinks, including non-alcoholic mocktails, and my rose martini was spectacular. It not only looked great but it tasted amazing. Too many times things that are rose flavored have an overly artificial rose taste to them, but this was sublime. Definitely a great place.
