We went for some drinks and the we ordered the shrimp and it was amazing! Margaritas were tasty and they were friendly. We had a good time.

Not what I was expecting. They honestly had good fried rice. But everything else was just, eh. It was alright.

This place was for me a great discovery and a very pleasant surprise! Everything is excellent !! Starting with the perfect and professional service, in addition to very delicious suggestions that Miss. NADIA gave me. They have many menus and endless options to please each and every one of the different palates attendees. "Such as Sushi, Mexican Food- TexMex, Seafood, Lunch menu, Happy Hour menu (in food and drinks) And plus** All portions of the dishes are really big! The prices in general are very good, it's just right! Trust me,...: 1* Service is PERFECT & friendly in all moment. 2* Quality 100% 3* Delicious Taste and Great Portions! Congratulations to all the team that works in "El Pacifico" I can't wait to come back!!! =)

For service I wish I could give this place a 1. They aren't nice here, the host had a really bad attitude when telling us we couldn't wait inside when we where sitting on the couch. Mind you it was freezing outside. I just think they could've been nicer when asking us to wait outside. We also didn't have anyone come to our table to ask us for our drink order for a good 10-15 mins and when they did she said I'm not your server but I'm going to help get you some drinks which was nice. But we didn't see our server again for almost another 20 mins....I understand staffing issue is a thing right now, but there's a difference of being under staffed and simply just being rude to customers. However, aside from the negatives, there are a lot of different food options here which make it very convenient for large groups, there's a little of everything. I think they also make great drinks and they are strong! So it's worth the money. It is a cool place to just grab drinks and small bites to eat before heading for a night out too. It does turn into a bar/club seen starting around like 9:30ish/10pm just a heads up. However if service was better I would give this place like a 4.5. Foods okay, drinks are great, music is good but service is

Do not listen to the bad reviews on ElPacifico! We've been here twice now and it's become one of my favorite restaurants! Sure, the service can be a little lacking but when you're used to China Town quality service this is not that bad. First off the food! We started with the appetizer sampler and it was amazing! The empenadas were pretty good. I loved the shrimp stuffed peppers and the wings were spicy. Such a good deal for $9. My husband got the spicy tuna roll which was jut average but still fresh. I loved the mescada which is a type of seafood soup in a thick broth. They do not skimp on the seafood. There were mussels, shrimp, baby octopus in a rich tomato broth. It comes with rice kind of like a gumbo and a piece of garlic bread. Wonderful on a cold night. EL Pacifico is now in our food rotation! We will be back.

Love this place but is a hit or miss kind of place. You won't know if you get great food or great service . Went in today no greeting until 10 minutes later and no it was not busy at all. My food looks great but wish it had more stuff on the taco . All there other tacos from here are fully loaded and have alot of flavor , this is just dry and no sauce what so ever or toppings .

Came down from Dallas and found this place; excellent food, awesome menu, great service, no wait, inviting casual atmosphere, and on certain days/nights they have live music and karaoke! All at a reasonable price. Can't go wrong.

The caravan roll - absolutely fantastic!!

This place is amazing! I had the BEST PULPO ever here. Cooked perfectly. I've had octopus in Asheville, Atlanta, Cancun, LA, etc. and this one was by far the best! Hats off to the chefs at El Pacifico. I also throughly enjoyed my sushi roll, got to LIGHT IT ON FIRE!

Jalapeno poppers stuffed with seafood

Everyone is right on with their reviews - it is an average joint in an interesting neighborhood and an unusual concept - a Latin-Japanese fusion restaurant advertising seafood and sushi. Sushi options are limited - a few types of fish can be ordered by the piece. The menu is heavy with cooked foods, like tempura, noodles, sandwiches. There are some sashimi/tiradito platters that can be ordered by the fish, a list of specials and then on weekends, the $5 roll menu. Between 3 of us, we had the jalepeno poppers stuffed with seafood, a small ceviche (crab, shrimp, oyster and octopus), 4 $5 rolls, and the yuzu yellowtail special. They gave me a big amount of spicy ponzu sauce with green onion. Props for having nanami togarashi on the tables. Big space, loud Tejano music/TV in background, lots of big screen TVs, we were seated at a half-moon shaped booth which was a bit weird. Pros +1 Togarashi +1 spicy as hell ponzu +1 yuzu sauce on menu +1 raw fresh jalepenos used +1 cheap cheap cheap (next time, 6 oysters is $3.99, poppers were $3.99, rolls $5...) Cons -1 Tiny glasses so we required constant refills -1 limited sushi menu I would probably go back and give it another shot, because they have "Tako Tacos" aka Octopus taco appetizers.

Loved my lunch set experience from Akiko!…read more I got the lunch combo that comes with miso soup, a sushi roll (Nemo roll +$0.99) , 5 pieces of nigiri and 6 pieces of sashimi. Everything tasted fresh, good portions and very yummy. It was pretty affordable too for only ~$24 (w/ tax). I would definitely come again. No complaints!

The sushi itself was very good, but unfortunately the service and misleading Uber Eats listing…read moreruined the experience. The salmon sashimi photo shows 6 pieces, but when you order it you only receive 3. That's extremely disappointing when you expect what's advertised. While the quality and cuts of the fish were great, expectations were not met based on the pictured item. :/ I'm currently in the hospital and had been looking forward to sushi my entire pregnancy, so this was especially frustrating. My husband picked up the order, and the man at the counter was rude both times. The first time, my husband simply asked to confirm whether sriracha was included and was met with an attitude. The second time, the order was placed on the counter without any acknowledgment or confirmation before the employee turned away. I myself cannot speak for the ambiance as i haven't been in person but this alone is enough to keep me away. We're glad I'll be discharged soon so we can return to our usual sushi spot--Sushi Hana in Katy, which has never treated us this way. Come here if you're only looking for sushi and have low expectations for service.

From the specials menu, we started with the spicy garlic coconut milk mussels made with fresh Prince Edward Island/British Columbia mussels in a rich spicy garlic coconut cream sauce, topped with green onions and served with toasted ciabatta bread. The broth was incredible and packed with flavor. As an appetizer, we ordered the Texas Wagyu Hot Stone Bowl -- the only rice item on the menu at the time -- made with rice, egg, kimchi sauce, tawan mushrooms, sesame, and green onion. It was prepared tableside for us, which made the experience even more fun and interactive. We also tried the Spicy Soy Ramen with braised ground pork, chili oil, soy milk broth, soft boiled egg, wakame, green onion, and micro cilantro. The flavors were rich, comforting, and had the perfect amount of spice. The Nagasaki Champon Ramen was another standout with clams, shrimp, cabbage, pork, onion, ginger, and micro cilantro in a flavorful broth that tasted fresh and authentic. The restrooms were very Japanese-inspired and beautifully maintained, adding to the atmosphere of the restaurant. Gabby was an amazing waitress -- attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire dining experience even better. Then there was dessert: Green Tea soufflé and chocolate milk bread pudding! I hope i get a picture of it!!! Service is GREAT! Drinks are filled. Needs are met- and exceeded!!!0 Parking is self parking, but it was worth it. We will definitely be back again to try many more items on the menu! Come early if you want to hear your partner it gets LOUD!

She clearly forgot to ring it in and then brought us the check. We then asked for the glass of wine and she brought it with a revised check. We also never saw a manager during our visit. At the end, we were charged 20% gratuity for a group of 7... seemed strange. Not saying we wouldn't have tipped that but it didn't sit well knowing the service was so bad.

They let us in early so we didn't have to stand out in the cold. The restaurant is small and quiet, with the sushi bar in the middle, where it's easy to see everything is made. We opted for the sashimi special, the takoyaki, the 4 season roll, and the gyu suji. The sashimi special was delicious, great cuts, nice and tender. The 4 season roll was also great, with good cuts of fish, not too fishy. The takoyaki was perfectly crispy with a good filling and just the right amount of octopus. We accidentally let the gyu suji sit out too long so it got cold and gelatinous, but they were super nice about reheating it for us. It ended up not being for me, beef tendon is just a bit too cartilaginous for me. Overall, a great experience! Will definitely need to be back!

Lightly dressed, amazing texture. 9/10 - Uni - Very high quality, no weird aftertaste, super vibrant. 9.5/10 - Wagyu sushi - Melted in my mouth. So rich and tender. 10/10 - Fatty tuna - STAR of the show. Literally melts, would order a whole plate of this if I could. 10/10 - Monaka (pastry w/ red bean, mochi, and matcha cream) - Not too sweet, perfect texture combo to end the meal. 10/10 Overall: such a well-executed omakase with high-quality fish and great service. Zach the chef was also very knowledgeable as well and presented each dish beautifully. Started off with the "Alive" cocktail which was a tequila based drink. Pretty strong and refreshing citrus taste! Ordered the the 4 Temaki set which included Hotate, Salmon, Negitoro and Crab. My favorite was deff the crab handroll, had a yummy buttery taste. Extra handrolls we got the Steak & Eggs handrolll (taste just how it sounds and the steak was nice/tender) and an extra Crab Handroll. Also, got 2 diff Donburi's which is the Negitoro Donburi and Bluefin Tuna Donburi (SOOOO worth it, it had Akamai/Chutoro/Otoro and all melted in your mouth and was fresh and paired great with the sauce it came with). The rice overall, was seasoned and cooked great as well. To add on the side, we got their chilli crunch which was a nice topper for our hand rolls. To end the night, we got the Raspberry Kakigori (super soft ice and refreshing). Pretty close to Japan! Seating was a very chill vibe with vinyl players and good music. I ordered the three hand roll set with a maguro hand roll add on. If I had to rank them, it would be: 1. Hotate:The lemon zest pairs incredibly well with the scallop. 2. Salmon: Super creamy thanks to the sauce. 3. Maguro: Also creamy from the avocado. I personally do not prefer avocado in my hand rolls, but it was still good. 4. Negitoro: A little fishy and more plain compared to the others. Overall, the hand rolls were very generous with both rice and fish. I was a bit surprised by the side of pickles since I usually expect ginger and wasabi, but the pickles were a game changer. The hand rolls did not need soy sauce because they were already full of flavor. The service was attentive, and they even offer warm towels at the beginning. Overall, this is definitely a place I will be coming back to regularly.
