I used to frequent the Lebanese place further up the street from it, because there was always a longer line and their food was on full display. Thus, I thought it was better. That was until one night when said place was closed, so I wandered down the street to Le Coeur du Liban. Thank goodness I did, because this place is AWESOME. Not only do they have great formules (sandwich plus pastry plus drink for 6,50) their ingredients are top notch. I normally order a fried eggplant and falsely sandwich, and this one was BEYOND amazing, the eggplant still had a crispiness to it and the flavor was amazing. At many places, the flavor of the falafel is rather bland, and the it relies on the tahini sauce to liven it up, but not here! I could eat this falafel by itself with no sauce, it is that good! Not only that, but when i asked for extra harissa, they piled it on! If you find yourself near the canal here in Paris, Le Coeur du Liban is where you need to go if you want a truly good falafel sandwich.

But Frichti changes that - everything is delicious, clearly homemade, quite cheap, and there are plenty of healthy options. My favorite things for now were the black rice and greens salad (€6.50 - as a main), the chirachi bowl (€10), the cheesecake (€3) and the strawberry juice (€4) - but I'm definitely not done with my tasting ;) It is true that the menu is pretty limited - about 8 appetizers, 5-8 mains depending on the day, and 6-7 desserts (and 2-3 amaaaazing juices as well, but not the point here...). But it won't be such a problem if you order delivery once in a while, and it is actually pretty comparable with the width of offering of competitors. So, go Frichti! :)
