But with all this histry, it's strange that you could not find real Spanish food anywhere. Until now. Chef Carlos knows his food, and know how to bring Spanish culinary traditions to life, like his Salt Cod with spinach, raisins and pine nuts, or clams in grean sauce. And their Sangria is the only decent one in town. Small and hidden away around hte corner from the Gran Bar Riviera. I'll be back. Presto

They never even smirk at me here nor do they neglect me since I am usually a lone diner. Being a screaming diabetic with insulin always loaded does not seem a good match for anywhere in Italy and it is truly a test of will. But this has become my second home. The cheeses, meats and fabulous fruits help me (almost) overlook the breads and pastas like no other. This place rocks on tapas and makes me a special plate each time. The chorizo is like no other and would be ruined with a carb introduction anyway. I feel like a very special person when I dine here. Acqua fresco is even magical here. The menu varies from season to season depending on what is in season and what the catch of the day is. Everything is fresh and wonderful and you just kind of have to go with the flow with the recommendation of the waiter or the owner. I called ahead and made sure they had octopus salad which is one of my favorite Neapolitan dishes. For my pasta course I told them just to bring me whatever was fresh and they brought me scampi perfectly presented and cooked over al dente spaghetti. I have been in Naples for this visit for five days (I used to live here) and this was by far the best meal I've had the entire time I have been here. Highly recommend to People more serious about the quality of food than the ambience.
