Dear Miami SunPost,…read more I hear that you may be closing your doors and that saddens me. Since 1999, you have been a local, independent paper, geared towards anything Miami and South Florida. You've tried to keep us updated on local happenings, county government dramas, and of course, food and nightlife. The recession is real and seems to have greatly affected your business. I hope that you can keep it together, restructure, and move forward, because you are truly the epitome of the indie paper - free, local, and on point! Best wishes and Good luck! Regards, Sabrina*

I have to say that the paper adds such value to the neighborhood by chronicling the news of the neighborhoods as well as listing shops and restaurants. Yes, there's the Miami Herald for city reporting, but this is a community newspaper. Now that I live in a house I actually have the privilege of having it delivered to my house for free! I always look forward to reading through the paper and learning about what's happening and what's new. Some of the writing could be better, but I think they are doing a great job for being a small community paper. I have to imagine that it's tough if all of your revenue is based on ads (since the paper itself is free).

Not to be confused with the Miami Nude Times, which is... oh wait, this is basically kinda that…read more Pretty adorable and sexy newspaper that suits Miami completely - as you can see by the picture that I posted. Definitely one of the better local papers that I've seen around the country, with some sexy ads inside too, and in some way reminds me of the LA Weekly and I like it on most levels.

I would check your pages religiously, go online for updates, etc. And while now I rely on Yelp for the day to day, I still have you to keep me informed. You always have up to date info on the newest and hottest venues, restaurants, and nightclubs. Your articles are riveting, covering all aspects of Miami life, from local politics to nightlife, from plastic surgery scammers to neighborhood improvements/renovations. You make sure to put it all out there for the public to see, no holds barred. I appreciate and admire your gutsiness in providing these unbiased articles. And your annual Best of New Times issue is a bible amongst the locals. And your online daily columns Riptide 2.0 and CrossFade are some of my favorite daily quick reads. :) Thanks New Times! Keep up the good work!!! I love that you are a FREE weekly publication as well as an online resource. :) Sincerely, Sabrina*

The location is hidden, down a long street. Luckily I found it with my google maps! I found parking right in front of the entrance. I walked in and was overwhelmed how big the lobby was. It was also very clean and modern looking. I was the only one there so I was greeted right away by the woman at the desk. She was very friendly and offered her assistance. I informed her I was picking up concert tickets from 105.9. She stopped what she was doing and went to search for them. I was then given a form to fill out while she did her paperwork. She was approached by another employee about another task and she took care of that as well. I was given my tickets and she told me to enjoy and have a nice day. She was one of the friendliest people I have met in a while! I have visited another station to pick up tickets and the girl was the total opposite so this experience was refreshing. Thanks Big 105.9!
