El Nido has a Zip Line that runs from the main El Nido island to a smaller island Depeldet Island, just off Las Cabanas Beach.
You can take a tricycle to Vanilla Beach, which is a better spot than Las Cabanas Beach. And then you need to take a motorbike up the mountain on a very steep, bumpy road. You can hike it if you fit for about 20 to 25 minutes instead of 4 minutes on a motorbike for $1.
WE found out it we would have to wait an hour, so we can wait or come back. And also, the return line from Depeldet Island was down, and you will have to walk a rocky sandbar from Depeldet Island to one of the beaches to get back.
We decided we would come back, and it was a scary ride going down the steep hill on a motorbike.
Well, we finally took the zip line, it was fun and a long ride, maybe it's only a minute or two, but it felt like ten minutes. You can sit or do superman style. And they can do two people side by side also.
I recommend not wearing flip flops, as they can fall off and are not good on the rocky sand bar.
I only give it 3 stars, it's hard to find, you don't get good info on how to get there and what to expect when you get there. The place looks like a junk yard and was then hit by a typhoon now has more damaged. read more
