The food was super hot and really good. I got the cheese steak fajitas and my husband got the texas fajita nachos. Both were fantastic. Service is always friendly with smiles. Today we got a little treat. There was 3 young gentlemen going table to table singing playing guitar for tips to raise money to travel back to I think they said Missouri I could be wrong. But they played for the table behind us. They sang really good harmonized good. Then they sang for us they did very good. Hope they make it back home. The Avocado Rolls are awesome-great Margaritas (get the Texas 24oz one-regular is also good), and my husbands Texas Fajita (think that's it) with shrimp, chicken, and steak and my spinach enchilad and potato enchilada were wonderful. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Server was friendly and fast. Food was very bland and, honestly, I had weirdest chile rellano I have ever had (it was a scoop of something mysterious, like maybe a casserole? We usually love this Mexican restaurant over others in Bremen. We went in this past week and it was horrible. The service was bad, the waitress never came back to Check on us, we finally got the nice lady that was cleaning tables to get us drinks and chips. It took forever to get food, seated, and to even pay for our meal??! It was crazy. Needless to say we left tip for the lady cleaning the tables since she's the only person that waited on us. Definitely wasn't worth the money. The only reason o gave it three stars is I know they can do better!!! They have before, maybe someone can read this and fix the issues before we return. They have certain tables blocked off to keep everyone safe. This is my "go to" Mexican restaurant in Bremen and surrounding area. All the staff are wonderful and the food is excellent. They serve thin chips and the salsa is good. I've never had a bad meal and you can walk across the lot for ice cream at Butter'dudder who make their ice cream on site. The food is consistently good and the owner is a great guy who takes good care of his customers. I read some of the 1 star reviews and I can't remember ever having a bad visit myself. The receptionist at our hotel recommended this place, and was so right! The pollo soup is a thin broth floating with chicken, rice, avocado, and tomato; it has an understated but exquisite flavor. The fajita quesadilla is just right: the chicken is tasty and the veggies aren't overdone. The spinach dip is marvelous and the bean dip and guacamole above average, the cheese dip just standard restaurant fare. The place is quiet (it is EAster) and the service prompt and attentive. If I could give this a negative star I would. The food was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. My family and I all ordered 2 chicken fajitas, 1 steak fajita, and 1 chicken enchilada for my 15 month old. The fajitas tasted the way dog food smells of that makes sense. The lettuce was brown and the pico tasted a few days old. The refriee beans were too thick like out of a can and there was a weird taste to the rice. Not to mention, there was a hair in my sons enchilada, and it was brought out on a seriously hot plate and placed right in front of my 15 month old. Maybe this was an off night, I'm not sure... but there is a way better Mexican restaurant the next exit up in Temple... it's worth the extra exit. read more

I'm giving this place one start but clearly they deserve 0! We came in and it was clean and not busy at all. We sat down and the waiter never came. He sat down two more families and they got their drinks and chips and salsa before he even came to our booth. Annoyed by this we paid for our drinks and left. Now I don't want to make this about race but we are an African American family and the two families who were catered to first even though we arrived way before them were Caucasian. I find this to be crazy since every worker in they place are minorities. I don't recommend this place to anyone who isn't white. The crazy part is after a while of us looking pissed off the waiter who was catering to a family two feet away from us looked over and said, "Did y'all get drinks yet?" Clearly he is the only waiter who was working this night. I didn't see any other ones the entire time I sat there. After that we saw it as our que to go. I refuse to spend my coins in an establishment that shows me that I am not an important customer. I love Mexican food and was looking forward to some tacos after a long 8 hour drive. Needless to say we headed down to the Cracker Barrel. Edited to add: My husband said once the kids and I left he stayed to pay for the drinks we finally got and the waiter said, "I'm sorry, you know how it is man." My husband didn't say anything else. Food was good. Meals are priced average, but don't ask for anything extra. They wanted to charge us $1.50 for a small SMALL plastic container of guacamole.
