The trailer clearly had not been wiped down, let alone cleaned. This is also when we discovered the refrigerator did not work. On day two we woke up to 45 degree weather and discovered that the heater didn't work either. On day the three we woke up to a horrible smell. We discovered that the grey water tank was 1/3 full and the black water tank was 2/3 full. Yes, that's right; they sent us on our way with a tank full of someone else's waste. Fuller RV refused to discuss the situation with us and ushered us out the door. This company could actually make you sick. Stay safe, healthy and stay away from Fuller RV.

The automatic VW Vanagon Westfalia was very clean (about 10 times cleaner than the one we rented in Maui), fully stocked and ready to go. If youre just renting in Eliot and going to Kennebunkport to see the Bush compound you'll not be too far off the beaten track when the engine fails, the exhaust falls off or the brakes fail. But dont wander up into the Allagash wilderness and expect to come out alive. Rented twice from this guy- 1st time was OK. Clean interior but shaky mechanical condition. 2nd time the engine failed after 3 days and had to be flat bedded over 100 miles. Thankfully I had AAA which covered most of the towing cost. Haggling got the owner to pay $75 of overage towing fees but he wont make good on the lost use. Youre better off renting a car and buying a throw away tent. Or paying a little more and renting a modern RV from a reputable firm.
