I walked around for a bit and found myself at this small local restaurant. i rarely heard english speaking staff, but they are very friendly and extremely helpful on what is on the menu. By the way, this is lunch time. 2 meals, one is a starter and the other is the main dish of the hour. I ordered the cheese salad as my starter. I have to say it was very tasty. Very fresh and delicious, plus it had this mystery fruit that tasted like jelly, but it wasn't. My main dish, i had the "little chicken". the meal it self was pretty small in the size, but in taste, it packed a big punch. It was mouth watering good. It was fried in A-plus olive oil with sliced potatoes (also fried in the same oil). So, good, i ate it all up. Now with this 2 dish lunch, you also get a dessert. Now, i passed on the dessert. All I had was a little café, white (cream) that's bout it. This is a must go place if your near or in this small town. There isn't much to see in this town, but i did discovery pretty cool iron railings. They down the block from the restaurant. Check them out.

For 37 euros/person you enjoy unlimited everything: cava, white and red wines, water of any type, calcots, romesco sauce, botifarra, white beans, lamb chops, creme de catalana, oranges. It was epic. Truly epic. The ancient lands upon which we ate this traditional Catalan celebration of all things good, drunk, and foreshadowing of spring lended also their influential energetic vibrations which enstilled a sense of deja vu I cannot ignore. Suddenly, I remembered what it was I was in my past life. Surely, I must have been some sort of wealthy Roman at the height of the empire, always enjoying excesses such as L'esportell del Bou provided us.

Very unethical establishment and they yell at patrons if you do not like what they serve. In my case, I ordered gas water however they brought me flat water instead & a raw tuna ceviche, which was only mediocre at best. Lacked flavor & tuna was pale pink, not red like one would have expected. I was charged €20 which is absolute extortion in this part of Spain! Simply put: They prey upon tourists. Skip this place, it's not worth the aggravation.

Small place but definitely worth the stop (from Barcelona to Tarragona). Tiny little town but lovely and right in the centre, so it was quite easy for us to find... The food was just out of this world delicious, purely spanish/catalan and the closest you could ever get to authentic, mix of flavors was great (you'd think some of it wouldn't match but omg, it did). You can tell they "concentrate"on every dish and honestly, i don't know why they aren't more well known cause it is the best spanish food i have tried in a restaurant in like...ever. Totally recommended!
