Several cars in drive thru as it is pretty popular place. They don't have anything precooked so it does take a few minutes but it is cooked to order and always hot. There were 4 cars in front of me and the first car had a little wait and each car after that was shorter. So by the time we got to window our order was ready. Maybe 10 minutes from order to food. They have smash burger type meat such as Freddy's and steak and shake. I think maybe it has better taste. I will probably come back at least 1/week now I know how good it is. The menu is standard but there are some goodies to be found and from what I can tell they do the standards well. The salsa is solid and if you're not a cilantro fan it doesn't taste as if that's present. I had the carnitas this time around and they were delicious--slow cooked, flavorful, juicy, simple and straightforward. They served them with fresh soft tortillas so I was able to assemble 3 tacos with fresh pork, guacamole (served on the platter), fresh tomatoes, and some of that house hot sauce. I also added a tamale on the side to see how they did those, and it was a larger tamale than expected but very good and slathered in red sauce AND queso. My dining partner had a very complicated and picky order and they handled her requests perfectly. The service was super-friendly--fast, kind, efficient. They checked on us often (but not overbearingly) and even provided freebies! I had the California burrito with steak and it was one of the best I've had. The steak was cooked well and the cheese sauce over the burrito added just the right finishing touch. My wife had one of the taco dinners with grilled chicken and steak tacos. She enjoyed her enough that I did not get a bite. While we did not eat in the restaurant, I enjoyed the decor and the entire vibe of the restaurant while we were waiting. I should mention that when I ordered, I got my wife's were wrong.
