They have a list of fish filets that you can choose fried, grilled or steamed with a side - I got the reineta, a tasty local white fish, steamed and was pleased with the portion size and tenderness of the fish. Husband got mussels florentine which came out in a super hot pot and were quite rich. The portions were so large I couldn't even start my side of fries and had to box it. Important note for other tourists, they accept credit cards! You pay up front. They also had beers, wines, pastas and a variety of seafoody things on their menu. And the complimentary salsa was also great! I would definitely go back and it was a great choice for our first night in Santiago!

A white-tablecloth place, Los Tesoros del Inca is the perfect amount of small and quaint yet full of personality. I did not take a picture, but I remember a mural on the wall that kept distracting me from the best french fries I've had since leaving the States. Real potatoes! The lomo saltado was a little chewy, maybe because it was intimidated by the outside crunch and inside squish of the french fries, but it was seasoned to perfection. I will continue to return, if not specifically for the fries, for the ambience of the place as well. (And, to see that lovely mural.)

This place delivered... for the most part. I am only slightly tainted by the steak I had earlier in the week at one of the top places in Santiago. That experience aside, Santabrasa does have a great selection of wine and various cuts of beef. One item to note is their goblets of "copa" wine they serve - that must be a pretty good part of a bottle right there! All at very reasonable prices I might add...

Great meat but a service that fell flat…read more I went there on a late night with colleagues for a good steak and wine. As it was late, some items were not available so I've opted for an Argentinian steak with a side of fries and avocado salad. The steak itself was delicious, tender and cooked as requested. Fries were undercooked but once returned they were great. As for the avocado salad ... they sent me a sliced avocado. I had to argue with the waiter that an avocado salad and sliced avocado are two very different things. I finally got a salad that tasted nice.
