My daughter and I were in the area hungry for a good meaty protein packed plate after a tough softball game. As we were walking down the plaza we noticed this Peruvian gem. The plate I order was delicious and meat was cooked very well. A great sized plate for me and my daughter and her stuffed animal. We left very satisfied and service was great as well. Support your small business!

Yes, Peruvian Cuisine was on the lunch agenda and I ended up at El Incomparable in Reseda. The eatery sits in a crowded strip mall, with a small but inviting dining space. There is Peruvian music playing and you are immediately immersed into their decor, wall hangings and the wonderful fragrance from their adjoining kitchen. There is a good size menu that contained not only the local favorites, but also Chinese and Italian concoctions, reminiscent of the influence of both Asian and European immigrants in Peru. I needed time to ponder as to what my choices would be. My original plan was to dine on the attractive picturesque appetizers on the menu. But then, my eyes caught the lunch specials and I selected the Pescado Frito. For some reason, my server Mary seemed surprised and became indifferent when I ordered this dish (should I have selected a more expensive entree instead, I wondered). The fried fish special came with Wonton Soup (the soup of the day). Apart from wonton skins and chicken, there were also thin noodles in a rich and flavorful chicken broth. The entree had perfectly fried small fish fillet pieces and similarly well done potatoes (I could have just had these), rice and thinly julienned red onions with lime. Every component was fantastic. The fish was bland, but flaky, tender, thinly portioned and optimally breaded, but still tasty. I could not finish it all, so had to ask for carry out containers. Another aspect that bothered my server, who left an unsettling impression on a visit that could have been so much more.

El Incomparable Peruvian Cuisine Reseda El Incomparable in Reseda is a hidden gem serving some of the most exciting Asian Peruvian fusion dishes in the Valley. The flavors are bold, creative, and beautifully balanced you can taste the Peruvian soul in every bite, with that unexpected Asian twist that makes each dish stand out. The portions are generous, the seasoning hits perfectly, and the whole experience feels fresh and unique. A must try spot if you love fusion done right. This place is hidden gym and wonderful customer service

Ceviche de Pesacado, Lomo Saltado (beef) and Pescado Frito are my favorite. My daughter adores Tallarin verde con bisteak whereas my boy likes rotisserie chicken. Food is good but the prices have gone up a bit.

I love Peruvian food, Saltado Mariscos is my favorite, and one of my all time favorite dishes. This place does it extremely well, not just the fresh seafood with nice size shrimp, the sauce is impeccable, those fries!!!! Of all the Saltado I've had, these might be the ones with the best fries! Besides the 'Hulk Sauce' the server asked if I wanted to try the 'Yellow Sauce'. It was nice, no substitute to the Hulk Sauce, but a great compliment. The food is fantastic, the service is great, very friendly servers. Give it try, you won't be disappointed!!

It's a little more on the expensive side. Date night kind of restaurant. All the drinks are in a can or bottle.

This has become one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants. The food is delicious and fresh. I had the ceviche de mariscos and the sauce that comes with it is 10/10. The lomo saltado was very good and the meat was flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the lomo montado and he enjoyed it as well. The service is good our waitress was kind and brought out our dishes in a timely manner.

Best ceviche pescado in the city. Hands down. They did recently increase prices though, which is a bit of a drag.

Moon Sushi has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and it was great to see the owner present and serving customers alongside the servers and chefs. We ordered a variety of dishes, and while some of the fish selections may sound ordinary, the flavors were anything but. Every bite left us impressed. Their specialty rolls were unique, and nothing we tried had an overpowering flavor. Each dish had its own special touch and was balanced beautifully. We tried salmon, yellowtail, tuna, albacore, toro, and even wagyu beef sushi-style, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. From the outside, you might wonder how a place this simple could be so good, but from the first bite to the last, you'll be pleasantly surprised throughout the entire meal. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back. It is a bit pricey, but honestly, what isn't in 2026? In Moon Sushi's case, you're paying for quality, freshness, and a memorable dining experience.

Was looking for something open a little later and found this place. The description says laid back,…read moreand it was that. At first look it looks like a sitdown restaurant style, but you order up at the front first here. We asked for recommendations, and were told about their rotisserie chicken and lomo saltado, so we got that and a fried fish. The food took quite a while to come out (downsides of ordering a whole chicken, maybe?), but it was so much food! I came with 4 people and we finished maybe 60% of it, so lots of leftovers. I was very impressed with how the chicken was grilled, but still had very crispy skin. Also, their French fries are really good, which is great because the chicken comes on a HUGE bed of them! If you're willing to wait a little on your food, this is definitely a great place to try.

DON'T EVER ORDER FOOD FROM THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!!!…read more I had a really disappointing and honestly concerning experience at this restaurant. I was served chicken that was clearly undercooked--raw in the center. That's not just a minor mistake, it's a serious health risk. When I brought it to the staff's attention, the response felt dismissive rather than urgent, which made the situation even worse. Food safety should be the bare minimum, and this was a complete failure. I won't be returning, and I strongly recommend others double-check their food before eating here!!!
