Food is always hot, fresh and delicious! A favorite spot for my husband and I. Usually I do the 1/4 white with plantains and green beans. I also love their mashed potatoes. The pollo saltado will now be part of my rotation. So good!

This is a solid takeout spot (even decent for dine in). The roasted chicken is normally deliciously succulent, tasty, flavorful, and juicy. I've always enjoyed the sides. This time, I got the carne asada. Although very flavorful, the meat itself lacked tenderness. The fried rice was a little hard, and the string beans were tasty. I would recommend this place for a home style dinner.

    Chicken. Green beans. Red potatoes.

I was not expecting much. I ordered from Grubhub because I wanted something healthier than cafeteria food or fast food. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best chicken I have ever tasted. I have been all over the world with the military and I thought the rotisserie chicken from Iraq was the tastiest... this stuff puts that to shame. I want to quit my job and go work there so I can find out how they do It. Amazing chicken.

I've been falling in love with Peruvian food since moving to Maryland. The unique flavor, the fire grilled chicken, and the customer care they give is so amazing. I came here on a Friday night to get dinner to go. The chicken was very flavorful and moist. I really enjoyed the amount of char that it had. However, the rice and beans were very very bland and beans weren't cooked properly. The plantains were yummy, could of been fried about a minute more, but still tasty. Service was okay. I've heard great things about this place so I will definitely give it another try since it's near our home, but my first visit wasn't anything to remember.

-2 of 4 sauces given for 1 huge salad, 1 large fry and 2 plates of chicken and sides.

Don't ask the staff for extra dressing or they'll look at you like you have 2 heads! They stuffed us on our dressings anyway! -4 dressings for all that food!

    Half dark chicken+white rice+green beans, 10.5 bucks :-)

Thanks yelp for letting us know this place. It was 8pm on a weekday, hubby and I were hungry as hell and we decided we want to try this new place right beside Home Depot. This place hides at the end of a plaza but the interior is spacious and clean. I have to say their chicken is even better than chicken rico, the skin was so crispy and the meat was marinated so well even the bones tasted great. Also the price was extremely cheap, 10.5 bucks, half chicken+2 sides, fed 2 adults for dinner. They also have a bunch of other Peruvian items, even ceviche, not sure if those are as good as the chicken, but will come back for the chicken.

Excellent Peruvian chicken. No disappointment here. And the Ahi (green sauce) was better than most places. Great food at a great price.

I ordered three chicken and cheese pupusas, and they were a great size. I was nearly full after the first two. The flavor was on point. My apologies for my photo because I was already halfway through my third pupusa before I remembered to snap a picture. I also tried the corn tamale, which my wife and I enjoyed a lot. On top of that, I ordered a steak taco, which unfortunately didn't make it into a picture either because I ate it too fast. What stood out to me was the "shell." Instead of the usual flour or corn tortilla, it uses the same masa dough as the pupusa, and I really enjoyed that difference. We finished our meal with the nuegados en miel dulce, something I had never tried before. I was glad I did because it was delicious and a great way to end the meal. Overall, the food and experience were excellent. If you are like me and rely on Yelp reviews to decide where to eat, I highly recommend giving La Casita Pupuseria & Market a visit. You will be well pleased like I was.

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.
