For this place being in Germany, it's a very good place for food.
I am close to giving them 5 stars but the meat lacks flavor and .. well, how meat should be.
This review will be solely about their tapas.
Let's go over the cons/ warnings first :
1. Avoid ordering beef
2. If you love lamb, do NOT order lamb. The meat itself is better than beef but the 'lamb' is extremely faint.
3. Tapas are small dishes .. these are very small.
4. Add salt and pepper to EVERY dish, you will thank me.
5. Avoid coming here at noon and 5-7pm
The Pros / awesomeness :
1. I'm a newly born olive lover, they got great olives.
2. Nice waiter/waitresses
3. Unlike most of the other European restaurants, this place is open during afternoon hours
4. Good prawns but small with good garlic mayo dip
5. Squid salad is good, too bad that it wasn't grilled
6. Due to the small portions you get more variety at each table
7. They got the BEST ham and dates, it was so fu*king mouthgasmic.
Great location, sits right in front of an old blackened (burnt perhaps) church tower and in a small street but still close to the small shopping streets.
Conclusion :
If you need a break from the usual heavy German food or Italian food around, come to this Spanish tapa bar/restaurant.
And MUST MUST order the ham and dates, I haven't stopped thinking about it since I've had it.
Olives are small but extremely flavorful and addicting.
15-20 Euros for each person, give or take if you are ordering alcohol.
Parking available right in front of the restaurant, read more
