Service: our waiter, the only one there, was Eric who's originally from Venezuela. We were there early enough to engage in conversation about COVID-19, life in Merida/Mexico, culture, and politics. He was very friendly and gave us good insight to life in Merida. He was very attentive and provided great service the entire time. I had ask for a different dish after my specialty dish came out and had. I don't eat meat and failed to ask for more info on the enfrijoladas. Eric was very accommodating for my mistake.
Food: We both ended up getting the chilaquiles, one without meat. The sauce was very delicious and the tortilla was nice and crispy. The dish came with refried beans and eggs. The whole dish was extremely satisfying! Did not disappoint. We were also served cut fruit with honey and granola, very fresh. To drink we had coffee and fresh orange juice.
Ambiance: The restaurant is quaint and intimate. There was jaz-like music playing in the background. This place has lovely character and charm.
We would definitely come here again for breakfast! Food was very delicious and service was great! Highly recommend this place when in town.
