We decided to have lunch at this restaurant on the square, as lots of Spanish families were sat outside, always a good sign. Naturally we went for the menu del dia for 15euros, when in Rome......
To be honest some of the dishes were a gamble, as we couldn't translate everything on the menu, however it definitely paid off! My starter was a delicious ratatouille style vegetables with an egg base and it was incredible! The chicken and chips, I was not as impressed by (see photo) and I'm not sure what parts of the chicken they were using be one piece looked like a foot! Unfortunately they had run out of the apple tart dessert and only had cheesecake and fruit. The fruit was a bowl of plums which looked like they had been rejected by several previous customers.
So some of the dishes were a little hit and miss, but when they were right they were really delicious. The restaurant had a great, relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. read more
