first i wanna start with the lunches. the lunches are most of them terrible but isnt every…read moreelementaries school that isnt a private school lunch terrible? the building and how the school is built is beautiful. you guys need to change the soccer poles on the friends because a chubby kid hanged on it and the poles were shaking so if people keep hanging from the poles its gonna break. also you guys need to add strings to the poles so the balls dont go far and we wont waste time trying to get the ball. also you guys need beter 5th grade teachers? we had this teachers lets call her ms. p, on field day he closed the door on us and then when we opned the door she said we hit her and and she didnt wanna let us out for field day either but a teacher came to the rescue. she also called the office on some student for yawning. fortunatly shes fired cuz she almost threw a pencil box on a 5th grader in her class. they need to update the concrete and add more benches to the blacktop. they also need like 1-2 rims for the basket ball court. not a bad thing but they need more ntas/ staff to look after the students, more recess time for both of them more lunch time. their break fast is decent. one time i was eating a sandwich they give every single day along with other lunches and i found something white that was solid and it had the shape of a tooth. good job on the students cuz i havent seen a lot of fights this year. new equiptment like jump ropes or basketsballs badminton rackets and tennis rackets. dodgeballs and more benches. the school is good/ok it justs need a little bit of rearranging and im gonna miss it when i go to middle school and im gonna miss the teachers too.

Worst school my son is currently being bullied there ... the day of the incident the administration…read morenever called me only the nurse. Then the principal later said they had called me but no phone records. These are the injuries of my son the bully bit & cracked his head on concrete so I called police & and have been communicating w other administrators because the principal likes to say things that are not true just to cover up the bullying. Also the principal cant meet around my schedule i have to meet around hers. Its horrific traumatic experience. The bully of course NOT EXPELLED & CONTINUES TO HURT OTHERS. I will have to share on social media so that this can be handled appropriately

First of all, if you are new to homeschooling, it can get quite expensive, but I'll talk about that…read morelater. I hated home school. Personally. My classes were beyond what my mom was able to teach me, so I basically taught myself. My kids have not passed me yet, but I think the time will come. In the meantime, my wife has taken on the role of mom and teacher. Mountain Home is not like the charter school I was enrolled in, that shall remain nameless. But it is named after a nearby forest, not Sequoia. Hint: It rhymes with Zierra.... Anyways, school for me was pretty much me and a book at home. My kids, however, can either stay home, or enroll in classes at the school, like puppetry, Spanish and computer. There are other options, like cross country, if you attend the Oakhurst location or want to drive your kids up there. They also do field trips. Field trips! My wife likes that she can select the curriculum, and in no time, my kids were doing work 1 and 2 grade levels up. She also gets access to supplies, and can use her teacher status to get discounts at certain places. Now, as for the cost. My kids no longer eat free breakfast at school, my wife supplements their courses with ABC Mouse, which isn't free. Then, my son takes piano lessons - $20 a pop(this is a good deal btw). Then, my kids needed somewhere to play at home. $170 for a backyard swingset. My son also wants to do cross country, but I'm not driving up to Oakhurst for that. So we enter him into races around the town every other month-$10 per race. And finally, family passes to the zoo for "field trips." Of course, you don't have to do all these things for your kids. If you don't care about your kids being bored, or fed, then it can be extremely cheap lol. I have friends that don't even teach their kids. The kids only do their work just before it's due. But they are also behind in math because they don't do any. Anyways, Mountain Home is so popular, there is a waiting list, and they are looking for a larger Fresno location. I'm so glad I picked mountain home school charter. They have been so helpful and really show care for each child and family individually. The communication is frequent and supportive. The enrichment classes are fun! You get the benefits of a public school, like picture day and a year book. While also being able to cater to your child's educational needs. Our teacher, mrs.patterson, has been so helpful and such a delight. My daughter always has so much to talk about when she leaves enrichment class. Love love love MHSC and I always recommend them to everyone!
