At the outset, the staff is wonderful - they are friendly, inviting and helpful. The physical space is bright and clean although the chairs could be a bit more comfortable. The food is outstanding. The Argentinian Empanadas are terrific: the spinach and cheese one reminded me of a perfectly cooked Greek Spanakopita. The beef one was really savory. The Cuban Sandwich was one of the best I've ever had - and the preparation is just a bit unusual. First, the meats (pork and ham) are chopped, and all of the fillings (meat, cheese, black bean spread, pickles and a delightful mojo-mustard) are grilled together. I was looking for early coffee with a small bite and found this place. Parked right up front and seemed to be the first customer. Inside was clean and quiet with soft music playing. I ordered a Cafe con leche with an Arepa with cheese (Venezuelan). She cooked it on the spot. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Everything tasted good. read more

They offer breakfast and lunch all day. Small place with a couple tables to sit at, mainly 2 person tables and have 2 small outside tables also. Food took about 10-15 minutes to come out and was still hot. The carne burrito had good flavor and the staff was very nice. Chip portions were pretty small, but the burrito was filling. I came in here with two of my friends from Church. We sat down and I ordered a burrito with pulled pork in it. I don't remember what it was called but amazing.. salsa is spicy too lol be careful. Ok best part for me though, they had Christian music playing and it meant the world to me. Had a brief visit today. Will have to follow up with another visit when I can stay and dine in. Not really set up for dining in. There is NO useable counter seating. People waiting for their take out use the counter spaces (3) to wait. One space so close to the cash register people checking out set their personal belongings on the counter within your eating counter space. Been wanting to try it out for a while but I left...The young person behind the counter seemed oblivious that there were at least 3 customers waiting for service. I loved this place since day one. The music and the scripture as you walk in. I was excited to see they made Spanish coffee as you can't find it in this area. Went to get a car wash and found this place on Yelp of course! Small restaurant... very friendly staff and service. The breakfast menu is limited... but I'm sure you can ask for something they are very friendly. The prices are great here, the cafe is very clean and quiet. I had the breakfast burrito which came with eggs, Sausage, browns, tomatoes, and onions inside. There was also a side of pico de gallo. This also comes with chips and salsa but I did not want all that for breakfast. I would try this place again.. read more

I live nearby and kept seeing this little spot. Finally got the chance to stop in while my tire was being fixed down the street. Staff is so sweet. Please is clean. I got a Turkey sandwich with the works as her recommendation and wow love it. Very fresh and my café con leche, brought me nostalgia. Like being back in PR! The sandwich was toasted perfectly and all the toppings were mixed well. Avocado, tomatoes, Turkey breast, a little Mayo and bean purée and cheese!!! With a little hot sauce and tortilla chips! This quaint little shop is a hidden gem. The owners are always there and super nice! They chef is a looker and man, he can cook a meal. Service was always fine from the front except I've had horrendous response from the chef. I ordered a shrimp burrito and had only one shrimp sliced into two, three quarters of the way down. So all I asked was how many shrimps am I suppose to get since I've never had this problem prior and I ordered the same thing every time. Chef came lashing out at me, raising his voice because I've asked a question. I'm not sure what his deal was but nobody did not deserve to be treated that way. The pastries (and cookies) are made fresh daily and very good. Important note: They're only open until 3PM. If you're able to make it before 3pm, I recommend giving it a try. It's fresh, carefully prepared, and reasonably priced. Their theme is quick, casual dining with a limited menu. For that reason, you won't find options if you're not in the mood for Mexican (eg - no burgers, etc). The owners are always on-site. Some of the nicest people I've met, very caring. I've passed this restaurant multiple times but I've never tried it. Inside is very small only a few tables to dine at. I tried the el pollo burrito. It had rice, beans, cheese and shredded chicken. The chicken was very tasty and very flavorful. The burrito was very filling and only cost $6.99. What a great place for lunch on Okeechobee Blvd. Family run and owned. Their food is delicious and makes you want to come back for more. The black bean spread that they put in their sandwiches is DELISH. The salsas they give you are very tasty as well. Their soups never fail either. My go to is a ham and cheese hot sandwich. This is a must go to place. The food is so delicious that I have to take a small break ( okay still eating,lol) to tell you about why you need to come here. First you know, I always do a restroom check. This place was clean and beautiful. Thank you. Now for the customer service,each employee I encounter greeted me like we known each other for years. Great feeling. The food presentation even in my to go box was awesome. They do everything with love. I hate guacamole and didn't realize it came on my sandwich.
