Steak tacos with cilantro and white onions
Ness N.

I had some steak tacos and fries, the tacos were really good. The customer service was also good. My food came to my table in like about ten minutes after I ordered. The place looks really like an authentic Mexican restaurant.

What a gem. Very hard to find non fast food items when traveling with a lot of people and I'm glad we were recommended to this spot. Any place that's kind enough to seat 6 people without much fuss will always be super high in my book. The margaritas are exceptional. Went with the large ones and thats the way. Extremely tasty gold margaritas - plenty of booze in these. The lunch specials were outrageous. An enchilada and a taco? Get outta here. Everything was very delicious and was served very fast. I feel like everyone was able to get something different and there was no dissenting opinion on how good the food was. My friend even pulled a prank and said it was my birthday and they were so sweet and gave me a shot and put a sombrero on my head while singing happy birthday. This place is definitely an unassuming gem and would recommend to any folks that are passing through to stop for lunch - it was well worth it!

Good prices, decent food, comfortable climate. The menu is not large however there is definitely a good selection. Extras were surprising (e.g. free chips and salsa however hot salsa cost $1.50). Iced tea was excellent.

Nachos

After a lot of recommendations we went there for dinner. The place was quite packed and we got iur table immediately. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I would give 5/5 for customer service. The nachos was good but salsa was not fresh. We got combo 19 and quesadilla supreme. Combo 19 was a bit salty and was missing something. I was surprised either burrito or enchilada did not have any fresh food like lettuce, tomatoes or onion in it. I would not crave to go to this place and wouldn't mind going with the crowd either.

This had to be the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The meat was so salty I had to spit it out, I couldn't eat the quesadilla or the tostada. I tried putting the meat in the rice to even it out and it was so salty I couldn't eat the rice. I told the waiter and still had to pay for it after eating only one bite from each item. would never recommend this place!

Speedy Gonzales lunch special
Greg L.

Wasn't expecting much when I stopped in here for lunch, but wound up being pleasantly surprised on how much I enjoyed the food. I went with the Speedy Gonzales lunch special which included a taco (hard or soft) and an enchilada and your choice of rice or beans. While waiting for our lunch (which wasn't long), we enjoyed the chips and salsa. Overall, food was really good and my coworkers with me said they enjoyed their meals as well. Booths felt a bit tight with four of us in there (and no, we aren't that big of people). Our waitress was just OK. I ordered tea but later realized I had the choice of raspberry tea or regular tea and I wish she had told me that. Likewise, with my meal selection, I felt she should have asked if I wanted my taco hard or soft. All that being said, I would certainly come back!

Lunch special 4: taco, chili relleno, rice and beans.

I don't know if it is really that good or just because of high school nostalgia. Today I had 2 tacos, an enchilada and deep fried ice cream. The enchiladas her are absolutely the best. The sauce can not be duplicated. What really shines is the ground beef. It is seasoned perfectly. I don't know how they do it but the ground beef combined with the enchilada sauce and some of their great hot sauce should be their signature dish. The tacos were also great. They had a ton of the above mentioned ground beef combined with fresh lettuce and tomatoes again I had hot sauce. I don't know it for a fact but they must hand make their tortillas as they taste very fresh. Finally, I finish up with their fried ice cream. This is traditional Mexican fried ice cream. It tastes really good and it is worth the diet cheat. The bottom line is this is one of my favorite restaurants from my high school years and it is just as good as I remember it. When you are in Celina, you should definitely make it a point to eat here
