Note: This review concerns the front desk only. I have tried on two separate days of different weeks to phone the front desk. The firs time, I called 6 times During Working Hours stated on their recorded voice message and never got an answer. It was not an emergency, so I called again another day. Same thing. The next week I called and the desk person said in order to get a prescription refilled I just need to call the pharmacy. This is a medication my Dr. and I discussed ending or changing after the first 3 months, and there are no automatic refills, so ideally, I should have another appointment to discuss it and the front desk receptionist is not skilled enough to tell me how to get another scrip filled. But since, after 3 weeks of trying to get someone to answer the phone, I would run out within the week, I opted to call the pharmacy. The pharmacy has to fax my Dr for my scrip renewal. After 6 more days I had heard nothing back from Dr or pharmacy. I called the pharmacist again. She said they faxed the Dr. 6 days ago and have not heard back. They said they'd fax again today. I called the doc back and someone actually answered - it was a half yell half order of " Office, Hold! " No full name of the medical office, no please, no thank you. Just a frantic, rude person obviously in over her head in terms of ability and social skills. When she finally came back on, she denied ever receiving a fax, presumably assuming the pharmacist and I both lied, and said "that's fine, they can fax it again."And hung up. Is it fine? No it isn't. Is she professional? No she isn't. If the front desk is an indication of the rest of the office. If ihefront desk can't be polite a inefficient and answer the phone,e it reflects poorly o the rest of the office. I have dealt with the front desk before and one woman there is Ok, but the rest are a holy mess. They have a lot of work and training to do. It is extremely frustrating to be at the mercy of someone who not only doesn't perform her job well, but who is rude, and literally controls my access to my doctor and affects my medication regime. Extremely unhappy with the front desk! Considering a move just so I don't have to deal with them anymore. read more
