But at least it was air conditioned, and there were free bathrooms near the back. And they served liquor and beer at the bar in the center. Not bad beer selection either, though a bit pricey. In terms of food, there were multiple stands. You could get oysters, duck buns, charcuterie, desserts, and more. They have live music three nights a week, and there's a tons of outdoor seating.

There are a number of reasons I like Neuhaus the best: - Of course, the chocolates are delicious. - A lot of the stores will allow you to sample any one that you choose (though this particular location didn't allow me to sample anything), so I was able to find ones that I really liked. - There was a large variety of pre-packaged chocolates, and I was able to find something in every price range (as gifts). - There are a number of different box sizes to choose from to make your own custom box of chocolates. - Friendly, multi-lingual customer service in all locations. I found out that there is one store in the US in New York, but my mother-in-law informed me that the chocolates there aren't as fresh as the ones I hand selected from Belgium. :)

The shop is small -- most night shops are bigger -- but quite well stocked, and if you can't find a specific item, don't hesitate to ask for it, they might bring it for you next time they stock up in the UK. Only cash though, so come prepared!
