This is probably one of the best places I have stopped for lunch in a long time. My dad and my brother and I are heading over to Ft. Lauderdale and decided to stop in Naples for some lunch. I had found a place called EJ's, it looked pretty good from what google had told me. When I got in I was so surprised. The wait staff was super nice and get us a table right away. The service was very good as we got our drinks and food within a good time. I had ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and it was so amazing. The presentation alone was stunning it just looked so good. EJ's is a great little place. You can sit inside or out. Beautiful either way. The staff especially Roy and G or so friendly, accommodating and attentive. The food is great from very delicious breakfast omelets and "stuffed" French toast to lunch salads and very filling sandwiches and wraps. This was my first winter in Naples as a snowbird. I have had wonderful breakfasts​ at EJ'S in the past while vacationing in Naples, but this season I've been to EJ's Cafe on an average of once every two weeks! The food is always top notch, fresh, prepared and presented nicely. I've never been disappointed here, nor have my meal partners. My favorite dish is the Bacon Eggs Benedict, prepared with bacon, tomato and avocado on toasted English muffins with a wonderful fresh hollandaise sauce. I always get fruit instead of hash browns to keep my girlish figure . I've also had the banana stuffed French toast, which is awesome, but only on a rare occasion will I indulge. Today I tried the smoked salmon platter after a friend tried it recently and raved about how good it was. She was not lying!! It looked as good as it tasted. Two of my three lunch companions had the same and one had the mushroom and Swiss burger with sweet potato fries on the side. She said the burger was great, with fresh mushrooms and plenty of melted Swiss. We all sampled her sweet potato fries...I may have to order them next time I'm there...And there will be a next time since I'm here in Naples until late April!! I have no complaints about EJ's Cafe!! Not sure how this place has such great reviews?! We came for brunch and I ordered the Energy Breakfast, which included watery scrambled eggs/veggies with no flavor, stale overcooked wheat toast, and a small cup of fruit. The photo of the dish included hash browns too but I didn't get any. The coffee was watered down and flavorless, and the price for the meal definitely didn't reflect the quality. The only reason I didn't give them 1 star is because the service was good. Maybe we came at a bad time or something but the food leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Great food by a caring staff, that finds the owner, EJ (a great chef), usually in the kitcheon or hovering near by. Everything is fresh, cooked to perfection and delivered by a happy staff. My wife and I live in Naples and have multiple restaurants to visit for breakfast and lunch. We go at least 3x plus a week. Dog friendly too! read more

My girlfriend and I were on our way to the beach, we stopped at EJ's for breakfast. The customer service was outstanding. We were seated right away (outside) and our waitress couldn't be more friendly. I got a breakfast sandwich and my friend got an omelet. The food was excellent and the prices were very fair. If ever visiting Naples, you will see rave reviews of EJ's. It is those reviews that prompted us to give it a try. The food was exceptionally well done except for the sweet potato fries. The difference between three and five stars was the wait staff. She seemed real agitated and didn't quite extend the city's welcome to guests. Aside from that, the food was decent. We went to EJ's four years ago on our first trip to southwest Florida and absolutely loved it! The breakfast menu offered many unique varieties and tasted wonderful, especially the stuffed French toast if you're a sweet lover like me. We've also tried the lunch menu and loved the curry chicken wrap and the turkey chili, which my husband said was very delicious. We've made EJ's one of our stops every time we've visited the Naples area and highly recommend making it one of your stops. We ate a Sunday lunch here and really enjoyed the food and outdoor seating. I highly recommend the Cobb salad. It was a good portion with fresh ingredients. The omelette was very good, too. I went here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon they where busy the atmosphere was very nice and relaxing we sat outside. I ordered a south western chicken sandwich it was just your average chicken sandwich nothing different or to special but good enough to go back a lot of people ordered breakfast maybe that's a better option. I had breakfast here for the first time the morning. The garden benedict was amazing! The eggs were perfectly coked, which is hard to find. The fresh fruit that came with the meal was fresh and more than the typical unripe Mellon most places give you. There is a very casual and relaxed vibe at this establishment, which was exactly what I was looking for as I intended to bike over from a nearby (but not too near) hotel in my work out clothes. And my egg scramble with avocado was very good. Not phenomenal, but good. That said, due to the following, I would not visit again because my overall experience was lacking: - The server didn't know and couldn't check if the breads used for the toast had soy in them (I have an allergy) - I had called ahead to see if there was a place I could put my bike if I ate outside, and after I identified myself upon arrival, I was indeed kindly directed to the end table outside, however, I wasn't given a menu until the server came by looking annoyed (as though I had selected the table myself without consulting the hostess, but I had, the hostess just hadn't given me a menu) - The "fresh squeezed" orange juice was lackluster (I had expected that in Florida, the home of the orange, it would at least be as good as the fresh squeezed juices that I get in a NYC deli) - I ordered a separate side of fruit, but the person who put down my food hardly looked my way, not giving me a chance to ask about my fruit. A few minutes later, my server arrived asking me if everything was okay. I noted they'd forgotten my fruit. She repeated what I said, left, and then arrived again with a small ramekin of what looked to be week-old grapes and a old strawberry, and small piece of none-too-fresh looking pineapple. - Half way through my meal, a couple sat down next to me, the man chain smoking, all blowing in my face, and instead of kindly asking him if he would mind not smoking, or suggesting another table, the waitress was like "yeah, they can do that here" and walked away, not even offering to move me. I tried to tolerate it, but after a couple of minutes, both me and the couple at the other table next to them got up (luckily, they were a lot further into their meal and almost finished), and they offered to help me move my bike and meal to another table at an adjacent but closed restaurant, a bit more upwind and out of reach from the offender. Only a few minutes after I moved did someone from the restaurant ask if everything was okay. For a $23 breakfast, I would honestly expect better service. And better food. And get a grip, Florida, and ban smoking in restaurants like other civilized states. If you are looking for a relaxed causal breakfast, this place may be okay for you. But I personally won't be returning, nor would I recommend it to anyone. read more
