Have been here three times in the last three weeks. Each time has been excellent. We have tried the pancake platter, the French toast platter, the salmon eggs benedict, and others and they have all been very good. Service has been top notch. Would definitely recommend if you like a normal style breakfast or lunch. A little tight for space when you can't sit outside and parking can be a little difficult but. I'm just afraid that they will get too popular! read more

Great place! Awesome view, outdoor dinning and a nice feel and mood to the inside dinning room. The menu is creative and simple at the same time. I got a southwest bowl (kind of like a mix of veggies and home fries with eggs over the top) it was the perfect portion size and very tasty. A friend and I happened upon this cafe for lunch. We had the best lunch experience I've had in many years!! The service by the young man was exceptional- like service USED to be in dining establishments. The menu is refreshingly new. I had the chicken salad stuffed pineapple. The banana bread was fabulous as a side and the cottage cheese was refreshing on a warm day. I will make an trip back!!! read more

We usually go to have breakfast there when we have an overnight on our boat. We were always very satisfied, but this time, everyting, exept for the coffee was cold. Even the cheese in the omelets was hardened. We told this to the staff, but got the answer everything is prepared freshly... which is not an answer to our griefs. We have been to EJ's five times for breakfast during our stay in Naples. We have tried many offerings from their menu and have always been really happy with every dish. Everything is fresh and carefully prepared. The staff is efficient and extremely friendly. From our choices here are some favorites: whole wheat pancakes with pecans; Belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream; corned beef hash; chunky monkey chocolate waffles; cheddar cheese omelette. I normally have a great experience here, I walked in not seeing a hostess - a waitress saw me with my 15 month old standing there (and my 6 month pregnant belly) i said hi!, I'll need a height chair eventually. I was next to a clean table - and the height chair was placed there so i casually sat down as another family came in with a host and started to sit at the table i was at ( us all confused ) i just said to the host "I was directed to sit here" he replied " well i don't know who would have told you that , you didn't check in with me ", i had no idea you were the host sir. He replied "well i don't know why you would have sat here if you didn't check in". Appalled, i stood up with my baby in a height chair and walked my pregnant self with my child still sitting in the height chair to a corner of the restaurant ... when my husband asked what just happened after he had parked the car - i told him we spoke to the manager ( also same man whom was the host ) and my husband explained he didn't appreciate the rude tone he had with me and the host / manager replied with "well this is a restaurant we do have waits , there are other families waiting , i don't feel i was rude to her ." Needless to say we left. Now , i can see how there may have been confusion but i was directed to sit to the table being cleared off next to where i was standing ... the attitude from the manager wasn't needed . It's the last thing any mother , pregnant woman , or anyone need! read more

Every part of my Benedict breakfast meal was incredible. The Hollandaise sauce was perfect and plenty of it (usually I have to ask for more)! Bacon cooked just the way I asked - crispy. Home fries delicious! My husband's banana stuffed French Toast was Amazing as well. Fresh squeezed OJ was perfect compliment. We'll be back! Sorry we waited so long to try it!! What a little gem this place is! A Must try for breakfast or brunch. Everything that came out looked delicious and our plates were scrumptious. The greek omelet was one of the best I've had. This is an adorable little breakfast place! We went for brunch here. The menu is quite extensive, lots of options. They have good cappuccinos, mimosas, and the banana stuffed french toast is to die for. Also delicious is the salmon Benedict. However, get there early if you want a seat! The service was horrible and will not return. We waited for ten minutes before someone took our order for breakfast. We waited for like an hour and no food. People who showed up after us were getting their food before us. The server never came back to the table - we decide to just leave. I ran into the server on my way out - told here and she didn't say anything. With some many restaurants in Naples - you need to always stay one step ahead. This restaurant was such a huge disappointment. The lemonade was Country Time . Definitely a powdered mix. No excuse in Florida. The Eggs Benedict was served on a soggy English muffin with canned hollandaise. Not a hint of lemon flavor. The French toast was well cooked, but served with fake maple syrup and lots of processed whipped cream. The only redeeming thing about this place was the excellent attentive and friendly service. But frankly, I'll never go back. You gotta try a lot harder people or someone is going to eat your lunch, or not. read more

The food was amazing! We decided to try it out on our weekend getaway. I had the banana French toast platter and my husband had one of the scrambles. Both dishes were great! So much food! The only negative was the service was really slow. It took over a half hour to get our food. It was packed and lots of large tables sat at the same time. However the food was worth the wait! We will go back for brunch next time we are in Naples! read more

The atmosphere here was better than the actual experience. The place was very small and the wait was pretty long. After finally being seated my wife immediately put in a food order for our 16 month old daughter who was not as forgiving about the wait as we were. Her food did not come and we figured they were busy and would bring it out with our breakfasts, so we let it go. By the time our food came they had lost our daughters order so only my wife and I had food. The eggs and ingredients were fresh but nothing special by any means. My wife got toast with her breakfast and it came with 1 piece of toast(which we had to feed to our starving child while we waited for hers to come). I've been to numerous breakfast places and never got 1 piece of toast. The prices were also pretty high. Overall I wish we had went to a diner. read more

A great breakfast spot. We dined outside in the early (7:45) morning before the heat set in for the day. The French toast was excellent made with Challah bread and good fresh scrambled eggs. The sausage gravy is fresh made and has a bit of a different flavor from traditional but very good served on a homemade grilled biscuit. The potato cheese casserole was excellent and also grilled for a finishing touch. The coffee is good and the service was excellent. A great place for a leisurely breakfast. read more
