This restaurant was really close to the hotel that I was staying at in Rhiene. I wandered by and…read moresaw that it looked pretty busy which is usually what gets me in someplace. I continued to wander to the downtown shopping area and scoped out other restaurant options. Nothing really striked me in comparison so I wandered back.
The wait staff was welcoming and friendly. The menu was not in english and I do not know german so I got my google translate out and learned some German. I ordered a pizza and a salad and some red wine. The salad was very large - big enough for two to share or a light meal. I love salad so it was no problem. It was the panini salad - a version of a greek salad in my opinion - fresh and good. I also got a pizza. Normally the combination would have been way to much food, but I was really hungry. The pizza was good - good amount of sauce, toppings and delicious wood fired crust. Other dishes looked great as well.
I would certainly come back next visit to Rheine - although please note that they only take cash.
