We waited about 30 min so I had high hopes. We got the honey/sage ice cream which was quite good. The cherry chocolate was horrible, we tried to pass the cone between us to get rid of it as fast as possible. Had hardly any sugar and was just not good. The chocolate was pretty good and the blueberry not so much. The wait time was ridiculous. They had one woman scooping which is crazy considering its spring. The ice cream was ok, nothing to rave about. I guess people like it because of the exciting flavor combos but the ice cream itself is not the best consistency. Its almost watery instead of creamy.

The current bestseller, at least with the younger clientele, seems to be a variety called "cookies" which is why it is often sold out. Smurf-blue icecream on the other hand can always be had instead, although I doubt that it is really meant for consumption. It is probably just displayed to shock parents. If you order a milkshake, take your time. It comes so thick, with much more ice cream than milk, that it is impossible to slurp it with a straw, at least in the beginning (and that's a good thing!). From Brandau to Nieder-Modau this is the best icecream parlour; it is also the only one.
