One word Pretzel bagels!! One of my favorite spots to grab a bagel and coffee on my way to work. The service though is a bit on the slow side and it gets busy on the one side of the counter that you "pick up" your order. There has to be a more efficient way to handle the crowds especially on the weekends.The system: The order takers key-in the guest's order on a computerized screen. They typically read it back aloud to the guest for confirmation. The food prep staff, who stand two to three feet away at the prep station, gather the ingredients and assemble the orders. Meanwhile, the guest steps down the counter to the pay station, pays, and receives a cup for beverages. Usually, by the time we've done the beverage self-serve thing, grabbed our utensils, and settled at our table, one of the employees announces the name with the order. I feel this particular location is very inconsistence with there preparing of food and what type of bagels they have made up and how many of each. The manager is always helpful and nice, the staff is a little, well, prisonish looking. They don't really take to much pride in their appearance. Their clothes always look dirty and grungy. That plays a major roll in weather or not I want to eat somewhere. If you can't clean your clothes does that mean you don't wash your hand when returning from the bathroom? Onion bagel is a pretty popular bagel flavor, right? Well thats my favorite flavor, and half the time they are out. And I'm forced getting a stupid everything bagel, I'd get the jalapeño cheese one but its just a ball of grease. I usually go around the same time everyday that i feel like a bagel, so why is it that more then 80% of the time they are already out of onion bagels by 9am?? Love lox bagels! I salivate over the thought of smoked salmon with cream cheese, capers and onions on my bagels. I agree with yelper Andy H, though. Its kinda silly to order from one counter then you and the person you ordered from has got to walk over to the other counter to process payment. Service has got to improve. The ladies are nice. I am not sure if the guy with a tattoo on his elbow is the manager. He's got to learn to smile. He scares the kids and passes off an impression as if Vista Way is his "hood." Oh gosh! Where to begin! Let me just say I am obsessed with bagels! And I've yet to find any other place that sells delicious fresh bagels as Einstein's! The 4 stars definetely go for the bagels especially the dutch apple bagel in the gourmet category I believe it's called. With regular shmear! I love it. I would give it 5 stars but they do lack on good customer service. There are some that have it down but for the majority of times I've gone there not very nice. And sometimes it takes forever! So I now always make sure I have atleast 15min of waiting time if need be. I also wish they'd open more! read more

How hard is it to make a bagel? Well at this business it's a struggle! Last time I went I used my rewards to get a 6 cheese bagel with plain smear and once I got home it wasn't there! What I received was a poppy seed bagel with onion smear. Then my husband went today 12/18 and ordered 3 bagels and once he came home we only had 2. They ended up giving them both to me upon me returning as they should but it shouldn't be our responsibility to check our order before leaving but I guess that's something you NEED to do at this location. The workers (which seem to be mostly teenagers) are nice, but to chatty with one another while making orders which is probably why my past 2 experiences have been terrible. I understand communication with your coworkers but don't let it distract you from making a simple bagel. If you can't talk and read a screen at the same time than maybe the focus should just be on the food. It's unfortunate that this is the closest Einstein's to me because it has always been a favorite of mine, the service here is just terrible. Don't waste your time buying from here when you can go to walmart across the street a buy the bagels you actually want, for the same price so you don't have to waste your gas to go pick up a bagel they messed up. read more

I am a long time customer of Einstein's at this location. Lately service has been below par. They are out of many of the items I frequently order at a time when they should be fully stocked (before 10:00am). Also they have not opened up their indoor dining. This isn't a big problem we're it not for the fact that their patio dining tables are always filthy and their trash cans are overflowing. read more

We've been going to EBB for years and have almost always been pleased with both the menu choices and the quality. Unfortunately I cannot applaud the service. This is now the 2nd time my man has placed a take out order only to have him come home with the order being wrong. He ordered the spinach, mushroom, and Swiss, add Turkey sausage. Yet again we paid for it but did not receive said Turkey sausage. He specifically told the person to make sure it was on it! We don't live close enough for it to be convenient to run back so I had to eat it without. In the future we will be spending our money elsewhere. read more

As a child i would go with my parents to the OG Einstein Bagels before it was Einsten and before it closed, over by Tri-City and the DMV. As that location went to the fan and got ran down, this place popped up a few years later and for a while I would come here regularly, then I graduated college, moved away a few times, but I like this place because I can get in and out quickly and the service is excellent. The only thing that is special about this place is the menu seems to be clearer to read here and it's a more logical line. It's a super bright location the way the light hits in the morning, can be busy because the nearby shops are very popular. read more

I love their bagels, I loved the fact that I got a coupon for a free bagel and schmear (slather of cream cheese). The customer service could be improved upon given the fact you order at one end and pay at another. Its really awkward having to watch an employee behind the register just stand there when they could be getting the orders going when the manager (who takes the orders) is on the phone. This process needs to be improved upon. Although, my bagel was a little burnt, I didn't mind. It was free. Second Visit... Amazing again! My husband had the everything bagel (totally covered with seeds and flavor, it was super good!) with onion and chive cream cheese. And I had the Spinach Florentine bagel (cheese and spinach on top) with a sun dried tomato cream cheese... and guess what? ALSO AMAZING. Then we had to have another... so he had a spicy jalapeno with spicy nacho cream cheese... he said it was good so I took his word for it since spice is not my thing... I went here for the first time today. By my confused look and wandering the manager rightly guessed it was my first time. He helped me pick a bagel for my sandwhich (turkey cranberry- super yummy!!) and was very nice. He said the rule is now I have to come in once a week haha. Had a weird experience this morning. Ordered a toasted bagel & cream cheese with a cold brew coffee. Paid for both then waited for my order. A couple minutes a guy hands me my bagel and I tell him that I also ordered a cold brew. The guy told me that he would get someone to get that for me, then walks away to make a call (presumably to find someone to assist with my order?). He comes back, doesn't acknowledge me or help with my coffee, so I wait there for another couple of minutes and someone else comes over to me to ask what I was waiting for and I tell her. She immediately went to the fridge right there to pour me my cold brew and hand to me immediately. I used to work in the food service industry for 9 years so I know and respect these workers, but was it really that difficult to find someone to pour a coffee in a cup in a timely matter? I'm not sure if the first guy wasn't authorized to serve beverages, but it was very odd and something I've never experienced before. read more

I like bagels. I went in around 9:30 this morning. I ordered my food, and mentioned to the person taking my order how often (about a third of the time) they get it wrong. So she was careful to read it back to me. Of course, they got it wrong again! How hard could it be. My family has been going here for over a decade! They know my father by name and everything. Hell, we used to be on their wall too. I absolutely love this place. Even if it is part of a chain, no one else does bagels as good as they do. I always try to order something different each time we go. Manager and other staff are always very friendly and happy to serve.
