horrible. cannot even get rid of fleas and they dont call you back. zero stars if it could be marked as such.

24 hours just to make sure they are available to take payments, but when someone has a real issue it can wait. Have paid good amount of money to get just about zero results what seems every time they come and once again the stench of something dying but now it's colder and the stench is blowing out from the vent, but " nobody is available" as usual... why be on a "plan" if nobody can help?! I can't select 0. horrendous service. we had a tech come and the work was terrible and not complete. called and two months later someone finally showed up and agreed the service was terrible and a discount would be taken off the bill. we never heard back from anyone but bill collection. I was told the paperwork was not done correctly nor refiled with an updated service plan or charge. I was told the bill was on hold, no calls back from the district manager as we were told would happen. today I get a call from collections. I spoke with THREE different customer services representatives who all said the bill was on hold and the tech who again assured it it would be taken care of. NEVER use this service read more

Called the local office to set up appointment was quoted a price and after the Tech came they changed the price. Never received a pest report. But we sure have been receiving a bill. Spoke to customer service who said they would correct problem but still getting bills . read more

We are out-of-town owners of a Meadville duplex. Our tenants found ants which they believed to be Carpenter ants, and knowing the damage they can do, I asked our property manager to call in a professional. Ehrlich sent someone to assess the situation the very next day. He determined the type of ant was not one to be concerned over and recommended a treatment that our tenants could do themselves. He could have easily billed for a service call, but instead, he offered his expertise. He had integrity - an often elusive quality nowadays. Beware. The call center people are not professional, nor reliable. I was outright lied to at the onset, ignoring what I myself wanted from the company. Promises were not kept. Charges were not satisfactorily explained. One employee caused a huge headache for me w/ ants, necessitating another one to remedy the mistake. They admitted they are overworked, which no doubt will cause problems. One admitted that he had seen charges vary from person to person, for the same work. Amidst all this, there actually were moments of care and concern on the part if the employees. read more

Do not use this company. The service guy was good and professional but they ask for a credit card up front and they continue to withdraw money even after you cancel. They give you the run around why they cant refund even though I didn't receive any more service. Made at least 6 phone calls and everyone says they will let their supervisor know and still no refund. read more

If I could leave zero stars that would have been my selection. Absolutely the worst! I was in the 365 plan which is just a way for them to get more money and provide less services. I recently scheduled a service and they "no call - no showed." I figured something happened so no biggie. WRONG! Rescheduled for today, once again, "no call - no show." Worst business I have ever been associated with. Terrible in EVERY WAY. And after reading some of the other reviews that were 1 star, please don't backhand slap me in the face after "giving it to me raw" already and ask if I would possibly come back to your business. WORST customer SERVICE department I have ever had to deal with. They showed up in January 2022 to spray for ants and spiders. We had 4 to 5 feet of snow everywhere. I told the technician to come back in the Spring. They charged me for a service call which never happened. It took weeks to get this off my credit card. They kept telling me they were checking into it. I said checking into what? I told them I would cancel service if they did not rectify. Horrible service department. read more

I'm a huge supporter of local businesses especially during Covid, however- this CAN NOT be ignored and I never ever leave reviews. I called and have my reference number from Thursday, 8/12/21, in which I was promised my 'ticket' would be escalated and be marked as 'urgent' given the severity of my report and I'd receive a call that day (Thursday afternoon). Nothing. Okay that's fine- maybe they're short on employees. I EMAIL ( trying not to be a pest- giving them benefit of doubt)the DIRECT line in my city (Erie, PA) on MONDAY, august 16, early morning. I explain this is an emergency and I was told this should be handled within 24 hours 3.5 DAYS ago, and I totally understand if they are slightly behind due to the weekend but I need a call back today and I was told by a manager who apologized -PROFUSELY- that she would escalate it and get me a call back THAT DAY. Apparently the prior person didn't complete the "ticket" correctly and "I'm so very sorry!". Nothing. I took my business elsewhere (THANK God), got it completely handled by another reputable local company who actually cares about his customers, and get a call TONIGHT from Ehlrich, August 18, an entire week later. Uh thanks no thanks????????( Website says 24-48 hours for call back... what a joke. I've spent 6 days panicking, fumigating my home myself; trying to support a "long time local business". 0/10. I called Ehrlich when I noticed a small collection of pests near the baseboard in my kitchen. My wife was understandably upset and assumed they were termites. I had my doubts. There was no evidence of any damage and the small group was easily cleaned up with a rag and didn't reappear. I called Ehrich and kept a few live specimens to show them. The technician who arrived first walked around the property "to determine the size" and then came inside to look at the bugs. His reaction was, "hmmm, yeah, maybe they are termites? I'm really not sure I'm new. Yeah, I guess they are termites." He then says they probably came through the foundation and my only solution is to treat the entire property with their "Continuous Subterranean Termite Monitoring/Baiting Service". Initial installation cost of $1,000 with a $30/month service plan! So he could not identify the bug or tell me anything about the situation, did not inspect or even look anywhere else in the house, but he was quick to sell me on their $1,000 service to pump chemicals through my entire property. Great. Naturally I called for a second opinion. A second smaller pest control company comes out and says it's NOT termites at all. Nothing to worry about. Just some ants who made their way through the front door in summertime when I disturbed their nests mowing. They offered to power wash and spray the exterior for spiders/ants/bugs next spring for $200 but said it wasn't even necessary. So now almost a year later. We didn't get either treatment and there was no more signs of the ants and certainly no terminates. I felt compelled to write this review when I came across this absurd "quote" in my filing cabinet. If I had listened to the amateur from Ehrich I would have paid $1500 to solve a problem I didn't even have to begin with. This is wrong. I would avoid this company and get someone you can trust. read more

We at G&l Enterprises use Ehrlich for all of our exterminating issues. They have superior service, their the only ones in Erie who can properly get rid of bed bugs, roaches, ants, mice and any other issue we have at our rental properties. Their technicians are beyond the best their curtious, professional and knowledgeable we love working with them all. Their office people and manager and corporate people are also very curtious, professional, knowledgeable and prompt. We have no problem with their prices they are very reasonable and get the job done, we have tried a few other businesses in the area and all have failed us so we've stuck with Ehrlich for past 3 years and will continue to!! Don't waste your money with the rest you will just end up having to call Ehrlich in the end to get the job done right!! read more

I called Ehrlich due to seeing some type of bug that I wasn't sure of. They gladly came out, looked around, gave me an estimate of $550 which included 3 rooms and closets, dressers. After 2 visits we thought the bugs were gone but found some more. Came out a third time as promised per contract. Sprayed the 1 room more and felt we needed another one. I waited 2 weeks then found a couple more. Called them back and scheduled another time for them to come out. Now this will be there forth time. Even though they say 3 visits, if you need more they will do more and there is no extra charge. They have been great with us, apologetic and concerned about our issue. My grandmother and I are not very pleased with this company. We thought we had just a little bug problem and wanted it taken care of as quickly as possible. When I called to schedule them to come out and look at it they weren't available to come out for two days. Being this is the first time I came in contact with Ehrlich I thought it was fine. When they did come to our house he walked into one room and before even looking at anything he says "Yup you definently have a problem" I'm thinking to myself how do you know we haven't even shown you yet. When he was finished looking around the one room he decides that the whole house needs done and it will cost $800. Well we were able to talk him down to $530 because a family member of ours just had the same thing done for $400. He leaves and tells us that we will receive a call on Monday to schedule them coming out for the treatment. During this time my grandmother and I are looking around the house to see if we see any more bugs and we aren't, but wanting to be safe decide that we will still let them spray. When Monday rolls around and they still haven't called me by 3 I decided to call them. They tell me that there is only one person to schedule an appointment and she is away from her desk at the moment but she will call me back shortly. She never did. I received a voicemail Tuesday from her saying she wasn't at work on Monday. How do they not know if your scheduling person is working or not? I decide then to call the whole thing off. I try to call her directly and surprise surprise she doesn't answer, instead I get transferred to another women who I tell I would like to cancel. As soon as those words come out of my mouth her attitude instantly changes. She becomes very short with me and rude. I ask her name and she tells me then hangs up. Excuse me! Ehrlich is a scam company. I'm going to go to a small company that actually cares about their customers and isn't going to say "Let's do the whole house." When it is just one room. It was a dry summer in the fall of 2015. My neighbors house and my house contracted fleas even though neither house had a pet. They had called Ehrlich and had mixed success. I called Terminix which I used before but didnt like their plans that they offered. So I tried Ehrlich this time. I used the one on w12th st. The salesman came out and took a quick look around. Gave me a written quote but did not fill in some of the areas on the contract which pertained to the warranty. I paid for 2 treatments with a 60 day warranty. They came and did both treatments which killed 80% of the fleas. I called and told them I needed one more treatment under the 60 day warranty. The salesman told me I had to do the 2nd treatment 14 days after the 1st treatment and that was in the contract. This was important because it shortens the timeframe to get them to come back in. BUT HE NEVER TOLD ME THAT AND HE NEVER FILLED IN THAT SPACE WITH THE TIMEFRAME ON THE CONTRACT. Basically he lied about the contract and stiffed me out of my warranty. I will never use these liars again. read more
