This church is more than meets the eye…read more It's fairly plain by most late gothic standards, but inside you'll find several 17th century statues and the 19th century stained glass windows are stunning. It was built by the Bishop of Scarlatti in the 1400's. I truly mean this: St Felicien is very much at the heart of the town, and the ringing bell is like a heartbeat. Yesterday a band played 70's American rock-and-roll at the church entrance and it was so charming. Almost makes me feel like catching Sunday service. Almost.
