Their voices further enhanced the grand, peaceful and inspiring interior. Check out Calvin's Chair (symbol of the Protestant reformation) as well the stained glass windows. We decided to climb the towers for the view. Admission to the Cathedral is free but it is 7 Euros to visit the towers. The first climb leads to the South Tower where the view is mostly from inside. Walk across to the North Tower and after more steps, the reward is more of a panoramic view. The steps were narrow and curved. They had lights to manage the up/down stair traffic. Fun and an adventure if you're ok with tight spaces. The reward is a great view of Geneva including the fountain. Well worth the fee and climb!

Inside, the space feels simple yet powerful, reflecting its long history and connection to the Reformation. Construction was underway when we went. Yelp Review 2026 #171:…read more Close to the Museum of Art and History in Les Tranchees in Geneva is this beautiful Russian Orthodox Church. I've had multiple attempts to go to Russia but things keep happening in the world. This was the closest thing I could get to traveling to Russia. It's in a quiet neighborhood. It's easy to get to from landmarks and restaurants in Geneva. It was built in the 1800s. The bright white walls catch your eyes. The gold onion domes of this church is captivating. There are rose bushes in front of the church. This is good for now...

I thought it might take awhile to find a good English speaking church, but after moving to the Nyon…read morearea, we were recommended to try Westlake, and we went once, and never went anywhere else. The church building is owned by another French speaking church, and Westlake rents the space to use. Service is held every Sunday evening at 5:00pm. It is truly an interdenominational church, as we have found the people are from all different countries and church backgrounds (catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, etc). They have a strong youth program, and many groups to get involved in, and several strong home bible study groups to choose from. We also found the people here to be genuinely friendly and caring. There is a sister Church to Westlake Nyon located in Lausanne. Tip the address for the church offices is correctly indicated in the Yelp business info for Westlake. The church office is in a separate building from where the Church meets on Sunday evening. The Sunday evening service is held at the following address: Westlake Church Rue Juste Olivier 6 1260 Nyon Switzerland
