My beef, cheese, bacon and onion pie was tops. Husband's ham and salad roll was tops. Drinks were great! They have reusable plates and metal cutlery, which I much prefer to disposable stuff. My daughters would have liked to hear music and see "booths and fancy chairs" rather than plastic tables and chairs, and I pointed out that we were in a bakery, not a cafe. Can't fault it except there was no bathroom (except we were directed to the local public facilities.

I got a plain pie was beautiful the pie was full and unlike many other pies the bottom didnt split open. My parents had sausage rolls plain and cheese and bacon and they both loved them, didnt leave that fatty residue on the top of the mouth and dad loved the coffee. All the cakes in the shop were big and looked great will be trying one next time I go over. So if your heading on the high and going through Stratford stop and grab a bit I doubt you will be disappointed

We ordered a cappuccino & hot chocolate ( which they refer to as Chocolate-hot) & were very impressed with what we received. The staff were very friendly & had an entertaining sense of humour. Zac, one of the owners learned my name & consequently greeted me by name the next morning. My husband ordered an egg & bacon sandwhich on our consecutive visit & it was delicious. The staff paid close attention to detail, that we were all happy with our food & drinks and the bottled water was replaced regularly. Overall, visiting this cafe was one of the highlights of coming to Montana Gippsland for the weekend.

To top it off they had clean toilets for travelers like us. We had the chicken Caesar and the mixed grill to share. Both were good examples of some Aussie cafe food. Convenient stop for us on the way to Melbourne. Right (or should I say left) on the main road. Quick rest stop and bite to eat and continue on!
