‼‼‼TURN AROUND NOW AND FIND ANOTHER COMPANY‼‼‼ The owner tried to pretend he did work that he didn't do then when called out on it got really aggressive and started harassing us. He then got his office manager to harass us as well along with many threats when we were just trying to figure out what work was actually done. He also told us between 8-9am and then tried to gaslight us into thinking we were the ones who got the time wrong despite having text message history on the issue. When they were harassing us I told the office manager she could talk to me respectfully or not at all and this grown woman decided she couldn't be civilized about it. read more

Update to my post a few weeks ago where I gave them 5 stars. Aftermath: after the service, Joseph asked me to leave him a Yelp review. Sure. Joseph continued that I HAD TO leave a Google review too(I said I won't use Google). He was persistent like the last 10 -15 minutes at my house felt uncomfortable in that never in25+ years of home ownership or anything- have I felt it was being demanded and expected- I have had no issues leaving positive reviews. I promised (weird) I would set up a new yelp and post within 3 days. I texted him that I had completed my review on yelp -5 star super great To my dismay, he responded. . "Great! Now do it in Google";" "no . Again Just who demands and says ok do more . Joseph is good at his job,. I just felt uncomfortable .i never stated I had a problem with the service, but given your response it all makes sense. Yes I paid you cash $240 which included a tip which is the same as payment instead of $250 Joseph- I was speaking of your behavior. Omar and Joseph came to install a Navien tankless water heater after a 29 year old 50 gallon gas water heater started leaking. They take pride in their work, don't take short cuts, and do the job right. They also had the best quote, as well as fast service - they were the first to respond, and after vetting the other places, went with Efficient. They came out the next morning, and finished the whole installation by noon! If you are planning to install a water heater DO NOT choose Efficient Water Heater. They run an extortion racket. Their modus operandi is to install a substandard product and do a shoddy job. When you pull the permit and water heater inspection fails, they will extort more money from you. This is what happened to me almost 6 years ago when I made a mistake of choosing these scammers. I did not realize that at the time. However, recently my water heater had a fault. It was under warranty. I called them thinking they will support their product. They repeated their extortion formula. They did not follow manufacture recommended solution instead they replaced some part. Offered me a 1 year warranty for their labor. I paid up, thinking they have fixed the problem. Should have known better. The problem was not resolved. And when I called them, they initially kept delaying for a month saying they will come at a date and time and then not show up saying they will now come later. Then they started claiming that they will not work with me because I am being rude. I was polite. They had taken the money so they knew they will have to offer to do the work under warranty. So they pretended to be offended. So, heed my advice and stay clear of these scammers. For the reply from Joseph: People notice the dishonesty of the owner. Of course they "were" going to do the work at "no additional charge", because there was no intention to honor the warranty and provide the service. For more than a month they kept delaying when, we, the customer faced inconvenience, and they call themselves "efficient". It was all delay delay then deny service on a pretext, so they can get out of their legal obligations. Absolutely illegal behavior! Amazing, fast, and professional! Needed to have my tankless water heater replaced back in 2021 and contacted several companies via Yelp. Joseph and team were the most attentive and responsive, with the soonest availability. When you do not have hot water, this is just a bit important. He asked me to send him some pics of my current unit and install location, and it was determined I also needed a minor electrical retrofit. Joseph had an electrician on site within 3 hours and scheduled my install for the next day. In a little over 24 hours from our initial conversation, I had a brand new, fully functional water heater installed, with the old one taken away for disposal. The work area was spotless and the the plumber made sure to test and provide me with tips on keeping the new on from sufffering the same hard-water death as my previous one. Cut to present day.... I messaged Joseph on Sunday 7/23 to inquire about a checkup for the water heater. It seemed like it was taking a little longer to heat up, so I figured it was time for some routine cleaning and maintenance. I figured I'd hear back on Monday or Tuesday, but Joseph contacted me within the hour!!! He had an opening the next day and was able to schedule the maintenance for 4pm. WOW! His team member arrived, cleaned the unit, cleaned our shower head which had also been clogged and all is back to normal with hot showers! I had a Navien water heater replaced. The work was scheduled quickly and the price was competive. The work van looked nothing like the nice new ones in the pictures which was my first sign that quality may be an issue. Sure enough the workmanship in the installation was quite poor. The installer cut a lot of corners with mis-sized piping, holes in the drywall, screws that were sticking out on the bracket. I decided to call back the next day to have these issues fixed. Joseph promptly agreed to send someone out in 2 days. The day came and he rescheduled for a week later. That was followed by about two more week long delays until I finally realized he was blowing me off. I've never had a plumber that can't help me promptly within 2 days. Joseph's latest text says I should call someone else if I don't want to wait another week. Bottom line is do not use these guys if you want a quality install and for them to standby their work. read more

The water heater was shut off as I was working on an unrelated gas line extension and upon turning the gas back on, the pilot light would not light up due to a bad thermocouple. I was told a cost and that they had a thermocouple for this specific unit however being that the unit was 10 years old, he wasn't sure it would work. Came the next day and got the thermocouple replaced and the water heater fired up and running. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Quick, responsive and on time - especially for a weekend (it was Sunday when he came over).
