This is one of my favorite spots in Warsaw. This review is specifically for the take away section of this location and not the sit down restaurant. Hard to find a good take away location like this in this city. Most of the top rated places are sit down focused. Easy to order with a limited menu. Regular size, 1.5 size, or double meat. Also, meat in a bun or in a wrap. And what type of sauce- spicy or not spicy. Prices have gone up big time over the years but it's still worth it. I've never had a bad experience here but I also don't go during high demand time periods. read more

This was probably the worst kebab I ever had, and I had a chance to eat in a lot places around the world. The meat was very dry and very salty. They forgot the sauce even though my wife asked about it twice. We had to throw it away, which we don't like to do with the food, but it was that bad. read more

Truthfully, I am not the biggest kebab fan. I wish there was a decent gyro place around Warsaw. However, that being said, I really do like Efes. I have had their kebab and it was delightful. Truly the best one I've had in Warsaw. Also, I have had a meal which was not wrapped up in a sandwich and it was also very good. Sadly I cannot recall what it was -- but it was listed as a kebab, so I was kind of shocked when it didn't come in a wrapped sandwich form. The first time I went, I arrived at closing time and they gave us the left overs for our sandwich. Even for it being the left over meat, I would say it was the best kebab in Warsaw. We dined in (which looking back, that was not super nice of us) and the atmosphere was cozy -- almost like a traditional Slavic grandmothers home. The second I went in the afternoon, the meat was fresher and was still very good. I took it home. The portion was large enough to share -- but I made two meals out of it!! They speak a little English so that is helpful. They do have menus in English as well. So point and say big/small and they will understand. The location is a little out of the way for my liking, but it is still accessible through the bus lines. read more

Terrible service and awful experience, 2 times in a row!! I still can't believe it: yesterday and today I came there to get a take away kebab, as it's the nearest kebab for me. At 20:40 they simply refused to serve me! I saw lot of meat still available and ready to be served but they just wouldn't sell me food.... How can a restaurant in this area close so early ?!! Especially a take away sandwich ?!! They are either lazy or stupid or both, I don't know... Terribly disappointed and will never come back to waste my time, I will give my money to people who respect customers and want to work. read more

Tastes like authentic Turkish kebab. Has a take-away window however I like to come here to eat other things than Kebab. They have a wide variety of meats and excellent soup. Love this place a lot. read more
